Uranus in the 2nd house

The second house in the natal chart is responsible for the main sources of income, from where a person can receive a constant profit for a dignified existence, and the expenses for which the money goes.

With a strong Uranus, the native‚Äôs wallet is either empty or full, and the whole financial history consists of ups and downs, which does not bother the ward of the planet of free-thinking and originality. He can get rich overnight and just as easily spend money on eccentric projects, promoting strange inventions and charities.  Read more

URANUS IN THE SECOND HOUSE, which governs finance, naturally indicates a restless and unsettled state of the finances of the person. There will be many ups and down, and even though such a person may have other good aspects that quality him to reason accurately concerning other matters, it will be found that in the financial department he is unable to protect himself against these sudden and unforeseen losses, or gains.

For him there is no such thing as a staid and solid investment, for the most unlooked-for-conditions are likely to turn up and either net him an altogether unlooked-for increase or else bring about an equally unaccountable loss, all with such suddenness that there is no way of changing the matter. Therefore it is absolutely impossible to give financial advice to such people, for even if they invested in a proposition as solid as the proverbial rock of Gibraltar, it is doubtful if an earthquake would not unsettle it.

With a Second House Uranus you are likely to seek individual freedom of expression through original and ingenious ways of making money - possibly through hi-tech inventions, unique occupations, electronics or unusual scientific avenues of endeavour. However, your attitude to wealth and financial matters is totally unconventional - precipitating many changes in fortune, financial ups and downs and other unexpected crises. Money is often gained through friends, associations or the government.
