Natal Game, or the Natal Marbles Game, is a visualisation of the positions of the planets and their aspects for a specific date.

A marble bounces chaotically inside the cosmogram of the natal chart, and each collision triggers the creation of cards. These cards are assigned to two teams: the green (harmonious) team and the red (disharmonious) team.

The creation of cards launches an ongoing battle in which each team can earn points.
Card creation
This is where it gets interesting: under the hood there is a complex strength‑scoring system based on William Lilly’s “Christian Astrology”: a system for evaluating planetary strength through essential dignities (by sign position) and accidental dignities (by aspect).
Scoring according to Lilly
Essential dignities (position in the signs):
– Rulership (Domicile) — planet in its own sign: +5 points
– Exaltation — the highest expression of the planet’s strength in a particular sign: +4 points
– Detriment — in the sign opposite its rulership: −5 points
– Fall — in the sign opposite its exaltation: −4 points
– Triplicity — belonging to the same element: +3 points
– Term — located in a specific degree of a sign according to Lilly: +2 points
– Face / Decan — ruling a 10‑degree sector of a sign: +1 point
– Peregrine — the planet has none of the above dignities: −5 points
Strength by aspects (Accidental dignities):
– Conjunction with Jupiter or Venus: +5 points
– Conjunction with the North Node (Rahu): +4 points
– Conjunction with Saturn or Mars: −5 points
– Conjunction with the North Node (+4), with the South Node (−4)
– Trine to Jupiter or Venus: +4 points
– Sextile to Jupiter or Venus: +3 points
– Opposition to Saturn or Mars: −4 points
– Square to Saturn or Mars: −3 points
Card battles
The stronger card wins, and the winning team gains 1 point.

The winning card loses 1 point of strength only when attacking; it does not lose points when defending. If the cards are equal in strength, neither team receives a point.
