Part of Fortune in the 4th house

This person achieves his greatest joy by nourishing and supporting the origins of life. This could be human life, the life of animals or plants, the birth of ideas or the beginning of projects that require special care for development. Giving something to others gives a great sense of satisfaction. The feeling of completion that the Part of Fortune promises comes from the feeling that a person is needed. By doing all this, one strives to strengthen one’s roots and create an emotional foundation that will be strong enough to support future growth.

Through the Part of Impartial Consciousness in the tenth house, the individual must learn that everything takes time to mature. There is a strong desire to harvest the crops before the seeds have been planted. Therefore, this individual must understand that a person sets goals so that his life is enriched with direction and meaning. A person should not allow the projection of the end of each goal to fill him with the illusion that something has actually been accomplished. For a person with the Part of Fortune in the fourth house, great joy is not so much the final achievement of a goal as the taking of solid initial steps along each path.

To put his Part of Impartial Consciousness in the tenth house into proper perspective, this person must recognize and understand the need for an established order in the world. He must be able to see the structure of the society in which he lives, but not allow its size and crystallized form to frighten his senses about the very important, but apparently insignificant principles that he creates. It is from these beginnings that the entire structure ultimately develops. Thus he must regard the structure, strength and power of established society as that which gives the world its form. He must not become identified with this form, for if he does so he will lose his own sense of purpose and purpose.

The “pot of gold” for this person is actually at the beginning of the rainbow. The peasant does not know which of the seeds he planted will grow. However, he cares for everyone equally. Caring is his nature. With this attention, the seeds germinate and take root. It is here that man finds his greatest joy. Something he can care for and nurture gives him a sense of oneness with the source of creation.

In expressing the Part of Impartial Consciousness in the tenth house, a person must encounter and deal with all aspects of the material world – and it is good if he knows them. It is important that he accepts this, since these factors have a great influence on the final outcome of everything he begins, and in an objective sense symbolize the completion of all undertakings. It is here that he sees man’s obligations to man. If he can face these obligations with impartiality, he will never lose his sense of confidence.

This person derives great joy from a state of naturalness, without touching or being touched by the seemingly plastic world. Close to the earth and nature, this person tries to teach others about ecology and conservation of origins. The closer to the origins of existence he stands, the happier he feels. Great joy comes from feeling natural. However, he must learn to recognize what seems artificial.

For some people, this placement signifies great satisfaction through a parent or being closer to one’s heritage or ancestors. For others, it means security, confidence and the satisfaction of being in touch with the very roots of your soul. At whatever level a person decides to strive for his Part of Fortune, he will know great joy when he does not allow the world ego, which he feels through the Part of Impartial Consciousness in the tenth house, to interfere with his real essence, which feels, breathes and grows as a child of nature.
