New Moon – Impact and Its Influence on the Human Body

The New Moon is the day when the old Moon (Waning Moon) has completely waned, and the new one is about to appear. Usually, it is impossible to see the Moon in this phase. The Moon is positioned in such a way relative to the Earth that the Sun-illuminated side is not visible to people. The New Moon can be compared to a solar eclipse, but it occurs more frequently and is less spectacular. The young Moon can be seen only some time after its “birth.”

After a certain period following the New Moon, a thin beam of light from the young Moon (Waxing Moon) appears in the western part of the sky, marking its birth.

Interesting fact! After the birth of a New Moon, it takes 18.5 years for the Sun and Earth’s satellite to meet again in the same zodiac sign and degree. This is known as the Saros cycle.

The Influence of the New Moon on the Human Body

The birth of the New Moon has a rather negative effect on the human organism. During this period, under the influence of the Moon, a person may experience:

  • Increased irritability toward the external world;
  • Exacerbation of heart issues;
  • Possible outbursts of aggression;
  • An inexplicable sense of apathy toward tasks;
  • Any enterprise begun at this time is likely to end in failure;
  • Lowered immunity.

Numerous scientific studies and experiments have shown that the New Moon period is particularly unfavorable for the native, especially for men. The stronger sex tends to endure this cycle with greater difficulty. A man may feel like a stranger to himself, as an odd sense of indifference to everything arises. If one asks their spouse or partner to take care of household chores or other tasks during this time, refusal is quite likely.

It is strongly discouraged to engage in strenuous physical activity during the New Moon, as this poses a risk of injury—especially in sports. Most heart attacks, conflicts, and aggressive outbursts have been recorded by researchers precisely during the emergence of the New Moon. A man may fall into depression, the severity of which depends on his willpower and inner strength: those with strong spirits cope more easily, while those less resilient endure it much harder.

Important! Psychologists and astrologers recommend dedicating the New Moon period to planning for the future, but not to the actual implementation of those plans, due to emotional instability.

Emotional State During the New Moon

The native’s psyche suffers during the appearance of the young Moon. Apathy and irritability are not the only possible states—some may experience inexplicable melancholy and fall into depression. During the New Moon, self-esteem is typically low and resists improvement, no matter what the person does.
There is no need to worry, as these phenomena are normal, and psychologists recommend the following:

  1. Accept and become aware of the state—this can ease the emotional burden, help maintain self-control, and prevent a deeper depression;
  2. Understand that this will soon pass—after every low point comes a rapid rise, and this applies to one’s mood as well.

By making just these two adjustments in mindset, the period of the New Moon will not seem so burdensome.

Physical Cleansing

Cleansing procedures can help the native cope with the Moon’s unfavorable influence on the body. During the birth of the New Moon, it is recommended to:

  • Include more fruit in the diet, especially those high in natural sugars;
  • The New Moon is an excellent time to give up bad habits and begin a healthier lifestyle;
  • Long-distance drivers or people planning long journeys are better off postponing their trips, or, if that is not possible, traveling with frequent stops along the way.

Summary

It is impossible to completely avoid the effects of the New Moon on the human body, but it is possible to reduce its negative influence—and now you know how to do it.  ✓
