Lourdes Maria “Lola” Ciccone Leon was born on October 14, 1996, in Los Angeles to Madonna and Carlos Leon, and spent her childhood in New York City. She started ballet at the age of three, attended the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts, and later enrolled at the University of Michigan, but eventually transferred to Purchase College to focus on dance — all while paying for her own tuition and housing, striving for independence from her famous mother. In 2010, she launched the youth clothing line Material Girl with Madonna, and from 2018, she began actively building her modeling career, debuting at New York Fashion Week for Gypsy Sport, and now works with major brands like Versace, Marc Jacobs, Burberry, and Mugler, appears on the covers of Vogue, and becomes the face of campaigns for Make Up For Ever and Coca-Cola.
In 2022, Lourdes adopted the stage name Lolahol and released her debut single “Lock&Key” in the hyperpop style, followed by several more tracks, including “Spelling,” which pays tribute to her mother’s work. She is known for her provocative style and commitment to body positivity, openly speaks about the “nepo baby” issue, and emphasizes that her parents raised her smart enough to achieve everything on her own.
