Melanie Griffith

American actress and producer, known for her roles in film and television. She achieved great success and recognition for her work, especially in the 1980s and 1990s.
Daughter of actress Tippi Hedren and advertising agent Peter Griffith. Her parents divorced when she was young. Melanie began her career in modeling at a young age and then moved into film. She made her film debut at the age of 12 in the film Smith! (1969). In 1975, she played her first significant role in the film Exercise at Ten and a Half.
Real success came with her role in the film Working Girl (1988), for which she received a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Oscar.
Her filmography also includes such films as “Whatever Happened to Virginia Woolf?”, “The Graces of God,” “Wild Thing,” “Crazy” and “Nothing to Lose.” She starred in various television projects, including the series “Red Sonja” and “Stella”.
She was married three times. First marriage to actor Don Johnson, then to actor Steven Bauer and again to Don Johnson. The third marriage to Spanish actor Antonio Banderas lasted from 1996 to 2015.
She has three children: Alexander Griffith Bauer with Steven Bauer, Dakota Johnson with Don Johnson, and Stella Banderas with Antonio Banderas.
For many years, Melanie struggled with alcohol and drug addiction. She was treated in rehabilitation centers and successfully overcame her problems. He is actively involved in charity work and supports various charitable organizations, including those related to animal welfare.
