Joshua Dallas is an American actor known for his roles in television and film. He was born on December 18, 1978, in Louisville, Kentucky, United States.
Dallas studied acting at the Mountview School of Musical Theatre in London, which gave him the opportunity to launch his career in Europe.
He began his career in theatre productions, working with companies such as the Royal Shakespeare Company and England’s National Theatre.
Dallas rose to prominence for his role as Fandral in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Thor (2011). However, he was replaced by Zachary Levi in subsequent films due to scheduling conflicts.
He is best known for his role as Prince Charming/David Nolan in the television series Once Upon a Time (2011–2018), where he also met his future wife, Ginnifer Goodwin. The couple have two sons.
