Duke Ellington

Duke Ellington (real name Edward Kennedy Ellington) is an American composer, pianist, and bandleader who became one of the key figures in the history of jazz. Born in Washington, D.C., to a middle-class family, Ellington began playing the piano at an early age and showed an interest in music from his teenage years.
In the 1920s, he moved to New York City, where he soon became popular in Harlem, one of the centers of African-American culture. In 1927, his orchestra began performing at the famous Cotton Club, which brought him wide fame.
Duke Ellington was not only an outstanding pianist, but also one of the first jazz composers whose works have become classics of the genre. Among his most famous compositions are “Mood Indigo”, “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing)” and “Sophisticated Lady”.
He performed and recorded extensively until the end of his life, composing over a thousand compositions and collaborating with musicians such as John Coltrane, Charlie Mingus, and Ella Fitzgerald. Ellington also contributed greatly to the development of the swing style and influenced subsequent generations of jazz musicians.
Duke Ellington received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom. His name has become synonymous with jazz music, and his creative legacy remains relevant today. Link to biography.

Karmic problems should not be understood as punishment for misdeeds and sins, as karma is usually interpreted in the everyday sense. Karma is not retribution, but rather inertia, when a person attracts similar situations from one life to another. However, the most important indicators of karma in the horoscope are retrograde planets, if any, and the Lunar Nodes.

Retrograde Planets

Retrograde planets are always connected with turning back to the past. The more retrograde planets a person has in the horoscope, the stronger their connection with the past. Retrograde Jupiter - Individuality
