Richard Gere

American actor, known for his gentle appearance and devotion to Buddhism and the Dalai Lama since the early 70s. At age 52, with wavy silver hair and granny glasses perched on the tip of his nose, he was named one of People magazine’s “Sexiest Men Alive.” His films include American Gigolo, An Officer and a Gentleman and Pretty Woman.
In 1975 he made his screen debut. In 1988, he met supermodel Cindy Crawford , who was 22 years his junior. They were married from 1991 to 1994. In February 2000, Richard had a son, Homer James Jigme, with Carey Lowell, and they married in 2002. Link to biography.
