Audrey Hepburn

Audrey Hepburn is an iconic actress and style icon, known for her roles in classic Hollywood films. She was born on May 4, 1929, in Brussels, Belgium, to an English mother and a Dutch aristocrat. During World War II, Audrey lived in the occupied Netherlands, where she experienced difficult times that later affected her physical health.
After the war, she began studying ballet in London, but soon turned to an acting career. Her first major film role was in Roman Holiday (1953), for which she won an Academy Award for Best Actress. This success made her an international star.
Among her best-known films are Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961), in which she played Holly Golightly, and My Fair Lady (1964). Hepburn became a symbol of elegance and style, collaborating with fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy, who created many of her iconic looks.
Audrey Hepburn was not only an actress, but also a humanitarian. In the 1980s, she became a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and was actively involved in helping children in the poorest countries of the world.
Hepburn passed away on January 20, 1993, in Switzerland from cancer at the age of 63, but her contributions to cinema and humanitarian work continue to inspire millions of people around the world. Link to biography.

Audrey Hepburn - Natal Chart Interpretation

Horoscope interpretation comes down to combining the meanings of the four basic elements of astrology — Planets, Signs, Aspects, and Houses — into a single whole, which is what makes each interpretation individual. More...

SUN

Strength: 21.67
Harmony: 8.08

SunThe SUN is the most important luminary, the center of life force. It can be compared to the king on a chessboard. It determines the health and well-being of the person born. It gives a creative impulse and ideals, including the desire for power, influence, and strength. The position of the main luminary in the natal chart has fateful significance. For example, the happiest people on Earth are those who do not have pronounced tense aspects to the Sun. At the same time, one might think that their character traits may be somewhat “soft,” because through the Sun a person develops the ego and strengthens the inner backbone of life. It is important to remember that the Sun represents the inner mind, not instinct. More...

Q Sun in Taurus s 13°

Taurus has tremendous inner strength, allowing them to withstand even the most difficult times. Yet despite such remarkable qualities, this representative of the Earth element often remains inactive, waiting for the perfect moment, and frequently misses good opportunities. A Taurus Sun is not prone to momentary impulses. On the contrary, everything in their life should be clearly planned. Any force majeure can drive this person mad, although outwardly they will not show the slightest sign of confusion and will continue moving forward no matter what.

SECOND HOUSE (House of property). SUN (planet of vital energy and individuality) in the Second House: the native attracts money, but it leaves them just as easily as it comes. They like spending it on luxury, and many things that belong to them increase in value over the years. They often become wealthy thanks to influential people. Strengths: generosity, great reserves of strength, persistence, inventiveness in financial matters. Weaknesses: greed, boastfulness, tendency to see money and property as symbols of status.

Sun Aspects

Just as all the planets in the solar system revolve around the Sun, a person receives their life purpose from the Sun in the natal chart. The Sun is the ego, the “inner child” that makes the final decisions. It guides the person and can be considered the “boss” of the natal chart, especially in the charts of men. Read more

ASCENDANT

Strength: 70.36
Harmony: -17.27

In the birth chart, the Ascendant is the cusp of the First House. It is the second most important factor after the position of the Sun. The position of the Ascendant in the signs of the Zodiac determines how a person manifests outwardly. The position of a planet on the Ascendant significantly strengthens the expression of that planet’s qualities in the person. In general, the position of planets on or near the Ascendant is the third most important factor. The symbol used in the table is (ASC).

The Ascendant speaks of the mask a person wears in public; it is the first impression they make when meeting people. Often, when the person is puzzled by how others describe them, it is because others are describing this aspect of their personality. The Ascendant is present in the person’s appearance and individuality, sometimes extending as far as influencing physical characteristics. The sign becomes noticeably expressed in their image, style, and manner of carrying themselves. It is also reflected in the way they act. Some astrologers believe that the sign becomes weaker after a person reaches the age of 30, as their confidence in who they are grows. The rising sign manifests in the first personal traits inherent in the person and in the way they react to their environment.

ASCENDANT in Aquarius x 28° - Ruler Uranus and Saturn

Uranus, the senior ruler of the sign Aquarius, is the planet of freedom and revolutionary spirit. It makes typical Aquarians unusual personalities who are not always easy for others to understand. The main characteristic of this sign is love of freedom. Freedom matters to them in relationships, sometimes even freedom from relationships, as well as the freedom to move wherever they wish. They cannot tolerate restrictions or rigid boundaries. Yet an excessive love of freedom may leave them completely alone.

People born with Aquarius Rising tend to be altruistic, friendly, somewhat detached, impartial, humane, sociable, intellectual, freedom-loving, rebellious, independent, and unusual. They are here to learn altruism and brotherhood, and to work for the common good, sometimes neglecting themselves and their own needs for the sake of friends and acquaintances. They have an absolutely unique view of things, unlike anyone else’s. They can be highly original and inventive, and at times perhaps eccentric and bohemian. They are prone to vague, sudden impulses and may at times be extremely intuitive. With good mental abilities, they also have organizational skills and practical sense. They are intelligent, though sometimes cool and calculating when they feel anxious. A certain detachment is also characteristic of them. They cannot tolerate possessiveness or jealousy and constantly need personal freedom. Depending on whether Saturn or Uranus predominates in the natal chart, caution, coldness, and selfishness may be more pronounced. With a strong Saturn, there is more altruism, love of freedom, and free thinking when Uranus is strong. If Uranus has the stronger influence, spiritual values will clearly prevail over worldly materialism.

The main lesson to learn: relate to people with warmth — think less with the head and more with the heart.

Uranus and Saturn generally rule Aquarius, so Saturn and Uranus will play an important role in the natal chart. Read more...

Ascendant Aspects:

MIDHEAVEN (MC)

Strength: 48.12
Harmony: 0.88

МС

The Midheaven (Meridian, MC) is the culminating point of the natal chart. It symbolizes the noon of life and coincides with the cusp of the Tenth House of the horoscope. The Meridian line, MC - IC, is the vertical axis of the horoscope, while the Ascendant - Descendant line (AC - DC) is the horizontal axis. Together, they form the so-called “axial cross,” or “cross of fate.” In terms of importance, the Midheaven ranks third in the horoscope after the Ascendant and the position of the Sun. The Midheaven, like the Tenth House of the horoscope as a whole, symbolizes everything connected with the person’s profession and social standing: success or lack of success in society, career, popularity, fame, titles, awards, or the absence of these. It shows the person as an individual within society, points to their professional skills, and indicates the possibility of rising up the social ladder.

Midheaven in Sagittarius l 16° - Ruler Jupiter and Neptune

Rulers: Jupiter and Neptune. With the MC in Sagittarius, the person’s desire for spiritual growth and the expansion of spiritual horizons is clearly visible. They try to move beyond the world into which they were born. People with the Midheaven in Sagittarius more often than others are connected with higher education, often have a gift for languages, love to travel, have many acquaintances around the world, and will almost certainly visit another country at least once.

Very often, their profession is connected with foreign cultures, scientific research, trips abroad, and communication with foreigners. Or these people devote themselves completely to spiritual service.

The nature and characteristics of the driving forces behind social advancement are evaluated by the cosmic status and configurations of the Midheaven and the planets in the Tenth House, as well as by the rulers of the MC, Jupiter and Neptune, both with each other and with other planets and elements of the horoscope. If they are strong and unafflicted, they open every road, both literally and figuratively. People with such indicators can achieve a great deal: reach the highest levels of the social ladder, become respected and well-known, receive their share of fame and honors, acquire considerable social influence, and affect public opinion. In this case, they do not need to take roundabout paths; the road, as the saying goes, runs beneath the horse’s hooves.

If the Midheaven or its rulers have negative aspects, especially to malefic planets, this indicates that the person’s path to the dream will not be strewn with roses and that many obstacles will have to be overcome. It may also suggest that in pursuing the goal, the person will not always act by righteous means. Read more...

JUPITER

Strength: 22.84

Jupiter In the astrological theater, Jupiter plays the role of the “Great Benefic.” Since antiquity, it has been associated with luck and material blessings. Yet the largest planet in the solar system has other purposes as well. It is responsible for spiritual and intellectual development and encourages a person to search for the meaning of life. From a psychological point of view, Jupiter embodies the generous, fair father. Its main enemies are stagnation and boredom. The giant rules the Ninth and Twelfth Houses.

URANUS

Strength: 23.55
Harmony: -3.64

Uranus Uranus is a symbol of suddenness and surprise, originality and eccentricity, unforeseen actions and behavior, various shifts and changes, turning points and rearrangements of both a positive and negative nature. Under its influence, past and present values are reassessed, and the future is anticipated.

Uranus is the sign of higher reason and almost supernatural intuition. It gives rise to true geniuses, people who are ahead of their time and remain misunderstood by their own generation. Uranus represents a projected point of the unconscious, yet it brings highly symbolic images and impulses into a person’s consciousness, arising both while awake and in dreams. This distinctive power to form images gives birth to intuition and inspiration, a flash of creative force, as well as scientists and inventors, poets and performers, musicians and artists, statesmen and political figures, religious reformers and revolutionaries.

Driven by the desire to play by its own rules, Uranus embodies change, reform, evolution, and revolution. More...

NATAL CHART HOUSES

HOROSCOPE HOUSES

The Houses provide information about how, where, and to what extent a person's characteristic traits will manifest, how their potential will be revealed, and how all of this will be realized in everyday life. Each House represents a specific sphere of human life. The Houses reflect a person's life in society, the kind of person life compels them to become, and show acquired skills, habits, methods, and goals that life sets before the person, as well as the ways through which they will move toward their goal.

1st HOUSE - x 28°

Strength: 233.38
Harmony: -25.96

1st House in Aquarius - Ruler of Uranus and Saturn

The First House is angular, which means it possesses qualities such as activity, initiative, and dynamism. It is the first of the Houses of life, and in this capacity, it represents the physical aspect of the personality — the body.

The First House in Aquarius gives a person a sincerely friendly manner of communication. Even when they feel deeply troubled inside, they will find the strength to smile at the person they are speaking with and offer an elegant compliment. Thanks to their inner warmth, the native’s bright and unconventional personality does not irritate others, but instead encourages them to get to know the person better and learn more about their incredible adventures and mystical experiences, since a person with the Ascendant in Aquarius is fascinated by everything mysterious and unknown.

Uranus and Saturn rule Aquarius, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the First House (Ascendant).

2nd HOUSE - a 26°

Strength: 64.10
Harmony: 12.52

2nd House in Aries - Ruler of Mars and Pluto

The Second House is the place of a person’s financial power. It shows the source of stable income from which the native can move toward the wealth of the Eighth sector, as well as find connections with their life purpose through the Tenth House, creating prosperity, well-being, and the happiness of public recognition. It is important to understand the ways of interacting with money, the nature of spending, and one’s own behavior in financial matters.

Ancient astrologers considered the placement of the Second House in Aries unfavorable, but today it is interpreted differently, since attitudes toward money and ways of earning it have changed. The Second sector is responsible for talents that make it possible to attract money, methods of financial enrichment, and material resources. This is the energy of possession, giving the native the right to wealth. If it is blocked, the native feels as though they are banging their head against a wall.

The senior ruler Mars and the junior ruler Pluto rule Aries, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the Second House.

3rd HOUSE - s 26°

Strength: 92.52
Harmony: -24.56

3rd House in Taurus - Ruler of Venus

The Third House is defined as the House of communication, the sphere in which a person feels the need to express their ideas, whether orally or in writing. As the House that signifies family ties, it primarily includes a person’s brothers and sisters, if they have any, and describes the nature of their relationship with them. In addition, it also points to relationships with other people in the immediate environment, such as neighbors, for example. But this is not all — it also indicates nearby, short-distance travel in the local area: by car, bus, train, or bicycle. The Third House belongs to the cadent Houses and indicates the ability of the native’s mind (Mercury) to learn, perceive different ideas, and adapt to various teachings; in practical terms, this means schooling and primary education.

If the Third House is in Taurus, the native seeks coziness and comfort both in communication and in the way they express themselves in these areas. A friendly atmosphere in the classroom is important to them, but if the school is poorly furnished, with shabby desks and dark walls, they will not have happy memories of their years of study.

Venus rules Taurus, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Third House.

4th HOUSE - d 16°

Strength: 31.92
Harmony: -14.42

4th House in Gemini - Ruler of Mercury

The Fourth House is connected with a person’s private life and the way they would like to arrange their home. This is also where the roots of their origin should be sought. It is the House of motherhood and childcare. It also describes property, housing, real estate, and similar matters. The Fourth House also points to the final years of life and the end of a person’s physical existence. From this perspective, the Eighth House is considered the House of spiritual transformation and liberation, while the Twelfth House is the House in which a person’s restless thoughts and agitated rational mind must be calmed.

The cusp of the Fourth House in Gemini symbolizes moves or travel from early childhood, as well as the native’s early intellectual development. They are sent to kindergarten or nursery early, or an intellectual mother becomes deeply involved in raising the little genius.

Mercury rules Gemini, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Fourth House.

5th HOUSE - f 04°

Strength: 74.00
Harmony: -13.16

5th House in Cancer - Ruler of Moon

The Fifth House is a House of life that carries the fiery energy of inspiration and the power of motivation. The warmth of this fire extends to others as well. For this reason, this House is considered the House of love that a person gives to others. The love given in connection with this House is not the affection associated with Venus in astrology, nor the sexual instincts related to Mars, but love that comes from the heart — the very quality that is the main characteristic of Leo.

The Fifth House in Cancer creates a loving and selfless parent, but unfortunately, dreams of an ideal family often remain only in the imagination, because the native’s standards are so high and they tend to see partners as heroes from films and books.

The Moon rules Cancer, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Fifth House.

6th HOUSE - f 25°

Strength: 119.92
Harmony: -40.33

6th House in Cancer - Ruler of Moon

The Sixth House is traditionally associated with work, health, and service. This House is still focused on the individual, on the “me.” It expresses a person’s attitude toward employment: whether they will do the work voluntarily or whether it will feel like a heavy burden. The Sixth House also indicates a person’s habits, established routine, occupation, general nutrition and, in particular, diet, as well as pets.

The Sixth House in Cancer is responsible for emotional experiences, so themes of health, duties, debts, pets, and earnings will act as triggers that activate deep feelings. This creates an exaggerated sense of importance around everything listed above, both in the native’s own attitude and in their expectation that others will approach these matters responsibly.

The Moon rules Cancer, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Sixth House.

7th HOUSE - g 28°

Strength: 26.80
Harmony: -3.17

7th House in Leo - Ruler of Sun

When describing the properties of the Seventh House as an angular House, it is customary to say that it manifests openly and through the public sphere. Traditionally, it is considered the House of relationships in all areas of life: love, friendship, cooperation, and even enmity. It shows what a person expects from contact with other people and how they express themselves in any union. The Seventh House teaches development through the close social circle, the ability to accept the successes of others, and the ability to learn missing qualities from enemies. The likelihood of marriage and divorce, as well as the personality of the spouse, can also be read through the planets and sign.

If the Seventh House is in Leo, then the Ascendant and, accordingly, the First House of personality fall in Aquarius, making the native a bright, independent person with great ambitions and high hopes for a successful personal life. They are driven by a passion for finding a star-like partner, someone whose presence will make everyone admire their couple.

The Sun rules Leo, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Seventh House.

8th HOUSE - j 26°

Strength: 28.68
Harmony: 4.28

8th House in Libra - Ruler of Venus

The key words for the Eighth House are usually considered to be “sex,” “death,” “big money,” and “personal transformation.” It is clear that sex can appear in several forms: as pure passion, as a force aimed at producing offspring, or as an expression of a deep feeling of love. Death also has several meanings and is not reduced only to the death of a specific human being. It can serve as a symbol of a certain idea, thought, undertaking, or even illness that disappears as a result of transformation.

Libra seeks harmony and partnership, so serious trials should not be expected unless Venus, as the ruler, is afflicted. Diplomatic abilities help the native find a way out of crises, gaining popularity and wealth, but problems with the marriage partner will be difficult to avoid.

Venus rules Libra, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Eighth House.

The Ninth House gives life higher meaning, expands the worldview, and encourages the search for keys to knowledge. This is a place of good fortune, considering that its symbolic ruler is Jupiter, the planet of great happiness, as well as connections with a new world. This manifests through higher education, travel to other countries, business contacts with foreigners, the spouse’s relatives, and esoteric knowledge. All of this expands the boundaries of consciousness and opens new paths of development.

If this House falls into the realm of Scorpio, the person is drawn to secret knowledge and esotericism. They cannot resist studying the dark side of consciousness, although they do so with the best intentions, wishing to eradicate evil in their own soul and help others. But by burning away the darkness too quickly, they risk facing a psychological crisis. They fight for social justice and are ready to go to the stake for a righteous cause.

The senior ruler Pluto and the junior ruler Mars rule Scorpio, so both Mars and Pluto will play an important role when analyzing the Ninth House.

10th HOUSE - l 16°

Strength: 127.35
Harmony: -3.00

10th House in Sagittarius - Ruler of Jupiter and Neptune

The Tenth House occupies the highest position in the horoscope, emphasizing the culminating nature of the corresponding area and pointing to the highest goal the person should strive to achieve. Therefore, the Tenth House indicates a possible profession, social position and reputation, as well as, in a broader sense, the true needs of the self. The key words for the Tenth House are social realization, recognition, success, fame, and renown.

Usually, the native with the Tenth House in Sagittarius feels confined within the limits of a small town or a single country. They intuitively choose a profession that allows them to travel a lot and communicate, preferably in foreign languages. Having chosen an inspiring field of activity, they discover that circumstances seem to fall into place on their own: the right people appear, profitable offers come in, even without special connections or acquaintances. Fate always calls the native with the Midheaven in Sagittarius upward.

The senior ruler Jupiter and the junior ruler Neptune rule Sagittarius, so their influence should be taken into account when analyzing the Tenth House.

11th HOUSE - z 04°

Strength: 33.91

11th House in Capricorn - Ruler of Saturn and Uranus

The Eleventh House of joy and favorable opportunities, friends, and social activity shows where unexpected luck comes from and how a person can make a profit during a rapidly developing career. However, its main meaning is friendship and participation in collective projects, where the individual shows themselves either as a leader or as an obedient cog in the machine, depending on the nature of the sign on the cusp.

The Eleventh House in Capricorn indicates that for the person, friendship is not an empty word, but a core value on which they build relationships. This is strengthened by the Fifth House in Cancer, where deep sympathy immediately awakens kindred feelings.

The senior ruler Saturn and the junior ruler Uranus rule Capricorn, so their influence should be taken into account when analyzing the Eleventh House.

12th HOUSE - z 25°

Strength: 33.91
Harmony: -5.38

12th House in Capricorn - Ruler of Saturn and Uranus

The Twelfth House is the last in the Zodiac. Pisces is the symbolic sign, and Neptune is the symbolic ruler of the Twelfth House. Since Neptune is the planet of delusion and enlightenment, spiritual impulse and the desire to overcome the inertia of the physical world, it can be assumed that the Twelfth House is connected with a certain mystery. Pisces is sensitive and intuitive, inclined toward compassion and self-sacrifice — all of this largely defines the nature of the Twelfth House.

In a psychological sense, this is the native’s subconscious, inner world, largely hidden even from themselves, where all the joys and sorrows experienced since birth are immersed. Whether the native wants to look into their inner self and work with it depends entirely on them and on the decision they make. Some people expect the horoscope to make life easier, while others would like to use it in order to seriously understand themselves. The choice here depends on whether the person wants to consciously explore their inner world or is content for it to remain unknown. It is the Twelfth House that gives the opportunity to find one’s true self, gain faith, and receive inspiration.

With the Twelfth House in Capricorn, the person may turn out to be exceptionally goal-oriented and very practical, while subconsciously avoiding their inner problems by loading themselves with all kinds of work so heavily that they have no time left to face themselves.

The senior ruler Saturn and the junior ruler Uranus rule Capricorn, so their influence should be taken into account when analyzing the Twelfth House.

KARMIC INDICATORS

KARMA

Karmic indicators help a person become aware of deep-rooted problems that go back to past lives, and begin working on themselves in order to overcome them and improve both this life and, potentially, the next one. Karmic problems should not be understood as punishment for misdeeds and sins, as karma is usually interpreted in the everyday sense. Karma is not retribution, but rather inertia, when a person attracts similar situations from one life to another. From a karmic point of view, every element of the natal chart can be interpreted without exception. However, the most important indicators of karma in the horoscope are retrograde planets, if any, and the Lunar Nodes.

Retrograde Planets

Retrograde planets are always connected with turning back to the past. The more retrograde planets a person has in the horoscope, the stronger their connection with the past. A retrograde planet also points to an unresolved task from a past life, unfinished business, or unrealized abilities. It forces the person to take up again what could not be completed in the past. The symbol used in the table is R.

Retrograde Venus — Individuality

A person with retrograde Venus differs noticeably from a person with Venus in direct motion. Here, there is a tendency to create grievances and wounds within and work through them internally, whereas Venus in direct motion would try to work them through outwardly. Often, retrograde Venus not only creates these grievances and wounds, but also tends to exaggerate their effect. Excessive emphasis is placed on the lack of love in the individual’s life. For such a person, the path of love does not flow smoothly.

Excessively shy, they usually doubt whether people pay attention to them. Not always certain of their likes and dislikes, they experience a discrepancy between their life and their awareness of it. They may be deeply in love and not realize it until years after the relationship has ended. They experience many similar behavior patterns designed to keep them from entering the reality of what they think they truly need.

There is always difficulty with the opposite sex, since the individual tends to subconsciously preprogram their future relationships so that they fit the patterns of their past.

Great insecurity corresponds to this position, since the individual constantly tries to measure up to the people whose paths cross theirs. But in doing so, they semi-consciously continue pushing others away so that no one truly comes to know them deeply enough to threaten the small degree of confidence and security on which they have based their identity. In this position, the individual blocks themselves from happiness by trying too hard to achieve it.

Retrograde Venus — Karma

When Venus is retrograde, the individual carries with them a misunderstanding of love from a past life. The emotional pain was so strong that they now cut themselves off from fully experiencing the richness of love because they are afraid of being wounded again. Whether male or female, there is great difficulty in relationships with the opposite sex in the current life.

Trying to live in the present, they endlessly recreate the past memory of love from a previous incarnation, which continues to elude them. They react to the present as if they are actually living in their past. In this sense, they are fixed at some point in time, and no matter what they do, there will hardly be the forward movement they say they want.

In men’s charts, this sometimes indicates karma connected with homosexuality. But even homosexuality has its levels, ranging from an openly homosexual man who tries to politically promote homosexuality to the world, to a man who will not tolerate even the word in his presence, who is married but looks for every opportunity to avoid women while proving his masculinity. In the life of the latter type of man, everything revolves around male friends. Under the pretext of attending clubs, associations, and so on, he avoids the company of women. He may function respectably in society, but he is still a latent homosexual. Less often, similar reactions are found in women with retrograde Venus.

The most noticeable karmic pattern is that the individual, whether male or female, has a strong tendency to distrust most offers of love, feeling that those who make these offers usually have hidden motives.

Retrograde Venus in Aries

Here, the individual feels most comfortable in Phase I of the retrograde process, when they live in anticipation of creating all the feelings that will bring them self-respect. They are very shy and constantly worry about what other people think of them. They may take a defensive position when they feel that others are putting them in an awkward situation. Therefore, they tend to spend a great deal of time alone.

They are very sensitive to other people’s concepts of themselves, and if someone’s negative self-assessment can affect them, they quickly run in the other direction.

One of their difficulties is the tendency to draw hasty conclusions about their feelings. They imagine their perceptions in advance, and instead of going with the flow, they formulate their attitude toward certain situations before experiencing them. However, they seek out these situations in order to test whether their formulations were accurate.

Marriage is not an easy task for this individual, since a general lack of trust combined with too much self-involvement prevents them from perceiving the full richness of another individual. The boredom they usually feel is not boredom with life or with another person, but rather a profound boredom with themselves. Instead of facing and understanding this, they often make tremendous efforts to fill their life with entertainment until they finally convince themselves that they have nothing to do with their own problem. On the day they learn to love themselves, their entire life will change.

They are working toward overcoming past karma in which they created a separation between their own feelings and the collective feelings of others. It is the remnant of this subtle alienation from people that makes them run away from themselves until they realize that the entire structure of their attitudes toward themselves and others exists only in their mind. Phase I keeps them in karma, but Phases II and III show them the way home.

Retrograde Venus in the First House

This individual needs a great deal of attention, yet never feels completely satisfied. They are concerned with how they appear to others and are very self-centered, since feelings of self-love rise much more strongly on the conscious level than on the subconscious one. In the constant search for more attention, this individual experiences contradictory feelings about themselves. Although they think of themselves as a being of love, they apparently do not understand how much love should be given to others. They give either too much or not enough. In general, the “amount of love” they experience, whether giving or receiving, does not correspond to the situation.

They want to be allowed to live their own life, yet they themselves cling too strongly to others out of fear of being alone. This conflict can create numerous problems in the sphere of relationships, as well as in marriage. In their love experiences, they pass through the three-phase retrograde process, which continues to emphasize either the positive or negative nature more in accordance with the pattern of the phase they are in than with whether their reactions to the circumstances of relationships with other people are justified. They will not necessarily be giving in love, but may absorb a great deal of love from others. They need this for self-confidence.

This position is most difficult during Phase II of the retrograde process — the need for harmony combined with the First House’s expression of unity within oneself cannot withstand the cross-vibration for a long period of time. The person feels most at home in Phase I, when expectations are stirred to the highest level. Even in this phase, when they try to emphasize their Venus positively in order to bring themselves into the future, they nevertheless experience the naturally negative magnetic quality of Venus, because of which they expect to be the recipient of love. The key to happiness in this position is based on realistic self-acceptance.

Retrograde Saturn - Individuality

A native with retrograde Saturn takes very seriously the completion of everything they left unfinished in the past. They tend to go back in order to fill any gaps in what they once too hastily considered complete. Essentially, they are thoughtful and balanced. At times, they may seem overly cautious or too frugal, but any restraint on their part is entirely based on their need to preserve substance for important use. They consider excessive spending or wastefulness harmful, because they experienced this in past lives. Now they deeply value everything they learn or receive. Often, they feel an inner duty to God, which manifests as a powerful sense of gratitude for everything they see around them.

They try to teach other people who are less knowledgeable or experienced than they are. However, this is unsuccessful if those people have not experienced the native’s “fall from grace” in a past life and the great struggle that has now earned them the way back. As a result, retrograde Saturn carries an “inborn” maturity that cannot be achieved without great personal struggle and sacrifice.

Retrograde Saturn - Karma

Retrograde Saturn always indicates ongoing karma from past incarnations. Whatever the lesson may be, the native is unusually slow in bringing it to completion. Therefore, in this life, they must carry an additional burden from a past life within their soul. When the two lives finally come together, their true mission should become clear to them. Much of what they do in this life is a repetition of what their Saturn already stands for. But now they are faced with circumstances and situations that are somewhat different. The retrograde action of the planet may make them feel a restraining force, especially if they try to escape the weight of its lesson. But if they follow it, understanding that its patient guidance is slowly leading them toward identification with something higher than they could have imagined, then through this planet they can come to appreciate the workings of a beautiful divine universe.

Saturn is the person’s teacher, and when it is retrograde, it means the native experienced similar training before this life. Over the course of life, retrograde Saturn provides a tremendous amount of wisdom.

For Saturn, the retrograde position is the most natural and comfortable one, because it gives the native something like a second chance to refine the relationship formed between their soul, the circumstances they encountered in a past incarnation, and the way those circumstances were understood. Now, under Saturn’s calm guidance, the person can give form to everything they learned in the past.

Retrograde Saturn in Capricorn

With this placement, much time is spent in Phase Three of the retrograde process, as the native tries to restore their past image. They are accustomed to working hard and flourish through the opportunity to one day look back on work and projects they have completed well. Possessing a unique ability to keep interference out, they can direct their life toward a useful purpose better than with almost any other zodiacal placement. This is a talent that makes them capable of achieving a great deal. At the same time, they work backward; that is, they do not begin anything until they can mentally envision the finished product. This strengthens their practical approach to life. They may be very restrained and often secretive, because in their inner planning they try to eliminate outer distractions that could divert them from the direction they have chosen. They are especially skilled at gathering pieces from the past that society has overlooked and creating a remarkable life’s work from these seemingly useless fragments. This is because they cannot tolerate wastefulness.

Karmically, they are living through a mission of completion, but what they achieve in the outer world is far less important than the inner meaning these achievements bring them. In this life, they will complete everything for which they gathered the necessary material in a past incarnation. The maturity of this placement now allows their Soul to bring into manifestation the work of many lives in this direction. Whatever House this placement falls in, it represents the area of life that they can, if they choose, bring to karmic completion.

Retrograde Saturn in the Tenth House

Here Saturn is in its natural House. The native spends a great deal of time in Phase Three of the retrograde process, reviewing the prestige and dignity they achieved in the past, thereby defining their present opinion of themselves. Essentially, they are highly aware of status, especially within a group of equals. At times, they evaluate themselves in relation to former peer groups and to the extent to which they have now reached or surpassed them.

This is a placement of devotion for retrograde Saturn. The native feels a strong sense of responsibility and must answer to themselves for everything they do. Therefore, they are deeply concerned with seeing their life as a tangible, formative structure that has followed a more or less reasonable path from the earliest point of their memory up to the present moment. They are quite crystallized in this respect, and reason and logic may escape them if these would mean deviating from a preprogrammed sense of duty toward their self-image. This effect comes from those rare moments when they experience Phase One of the retrograde process.

The only way they can be led aside is by something that will improve their self-image in the future, provided that nothing from their past is destroyed in the process. Karmically, they are trying to establish a sense of principle that was not fully formed in past lives and that they do not truly possess in this life. It is formulated only in the areas of career, public image, and a sense of duty toward society.

Retrograde Neptune - Individuality

The individuality of a person with retrograde Neptune is not easy for others to understand. Their motives do not contain the common sense that anyone might expect to find at the root of all motivations. Instead, they are attuned to a higher music that only they can hear. Their perceptions do not come from the material plane; they are a direct connection with their Soul. Thus, they may be very spiritual, but they care little for the formal side of orthodox religion. They may have a great love of music, but cannot be assigned to any particular artificial structure within it. They feel almost everything, but they connect their feelings with physical reality far less than with the perception of the cosmic universe. They know far more than they can even express in words, and here again they recognize the limiting qualities of language, which is merely another formed boundary that can enclose their boundless understanding. They are able to understand the appearances and illusions in which others live, and therefore must try to strike the best possible bargain: not to knock down other people’s sand castles, while still preserving all the inner truths they know.

Retrograde Neptune - Karma

The native with retrograde Neptune is living through the karma of learning how to sort out what is real from the standpoint of their ideals and what only appears to fulfill their dreams. They know what they need, but it is difficult for them to find it in the outer world. Constantly living through dreams, they often get carried away, running from imaginary shadows while chasing unrealistic fantasies. Nevertheless, they must find their ideals in the “formless” world that strongly influences them. They sometimes make the mistake of projecting past dreams into present situations. This prevents them from clearly seeing the reality of the present. They are highly intuitive and, through the various retrograde phases, are often able to know the outcome of situations long before they enter them. But until they learn how to handle the subtle flow of Neptunian energy they feel within themselves, they will not easily trust their intuition.

The native must learn how to blend their feelings with the ideals and dreams they bring into this life. Instead of trying to distort perception in order to make the present conform to the past, the person must realize which parts of the present truly symbolize the karmically unfinished parts of the past.

Retrograde Neptune in Leo

Here the native often experiences an illusion of grandeur. They live within the appearance of a romantic aura, splendor, and all the magnificence of a palace-like illusion.

They spend a great deal of time in Phase One of the retrograde process, and it is important for them to impress others. They cannot realize that this will never bring them the satisfaction they are seeking, because they are just as easily impressed by others. This Neptune placement coincided with the great era of Hollywood, when it was fashionable to identify with movie stars in an attempt to find greater creative power in one’s own image. Crystal chandeliers, velvet chairs, and many other symbols of various movie sets appeared in homes.

On an individual level, this Neptune placement encourages the native to identify with strength and power; at the very least, they must experience the appearance of achievement.

For their own growth, they must raise their consciousness to a level where they can see this need from the standpoint of true spiritual goals, rather than through symbols of beauty they can accumulate on the physical plane. Karmically, they must take the tremendous strength of the positive belief system with which they came into this life, make contact with it, and then help create the better world their Soul dreams of.

Retrograde Neptune in the Sixth House

This is a true angel of mercy. Here the dissolving qualities of retrograde Neptune are offered to other people as a mission of healing, service, and great personal self-sacrifice. Many physicians, nurses, caregivers, and healers are blessed with this placement.

Usually, in Phase One of the retrograde process, the native seeks opportunities and situations where they will be needed. Most of their dreams and aspirations are devoted to how they can creatively serve the society that has given them so much in the past. Truly, this is one of Neptune’s special placements, because it allows those who have it to bring their cosmic understanding onto the earthly plane, where it can be practically useful to other people. In this House, Neptune is astrologically in fall, describing how difficult this is to do personally. But Neptune is not a personal planet. As long as the native can be a servant without being a slave, they will do everything in their power to lead the life of a dedicated humanitarian.

Karmically, they live a life of service, and the more they serve, the more they free themselves from the wheel of karma.

LUNAR NODES

LUNAR NODES Lunar Nodes symbolize the axis of development. The South Node indicates the experience a person has accumulated in past lives, while the North Node shows the experience the person needs to acquire in the current life.

North Node in Taurus, South Node in Scorpio

The karmic task of a person with the North Node in Taurus lies in developing and refining their talents and abilities. It will be good if the native chooses an activity connected with art. This may be painting, architecture, literature, poetry, singing, and so on. The creative nature of the work will allow the native to develop and grow. Creativity may also have an applied character. The native may be interested in gardening, animal husbandry, love the land, and build homes.

Conversely, if the person follows the path of the South Node, meaning they do what is familiar to them, life will become meaningless, and most karmic knots will remain unresolved during this lifetime. People with the South Node in Scorpio should not get carried away with intrigues, behind-the-scenes games, or seek only personal gain when interacting with partners. They are advised to develop solidity, diligence, honesty, practicality, the ability to rejoice in the beauty around them, and the ability to create harmonious forms with their own hands.

North Node in the Second House - South Node in the Eighth House

With this placement of the Nodes, the person needs to be attentive when it comes to money, personal property, and financial investments. Mistakes made in life will affect the native’s material situation. And conversely, the more good deeds the person does, the more prosperous their life will be.

A person with the South Node in the Eighth House should not rely on the resources of partners and others. They need to develop their talents and abilities, build their skills, and work hard. This will allow them to gain material independence and avoid the temptation of money.

Lunar Node Aspects:

SELENA

Selena In addition to the North Node, the path of karmic advancement and the application of innate talents is shown by the White Moon, also called Selena or Lulu. This is a fictitious point that reflects the light karma accumulated by the native in a past life, or by their ancestors over several generations. The place where the guardian angel’s sign is located shows the area in which the native has accumulated the greatest number of good deeds. This is where the starry road to success and prosperity now shines, provided the higher qualities of the sign where the White Moon is located are developed and expressed.

Selena (White Moon) in Libra

The White Moon in Libra is harmonious and strong. People with this placement are elegant and benevolent, possess refined artistic taste, and love beauty and grace. In the past, they reconciled those in conflict, opposed gossipers and schemers, and most likely acted as fair judges themselves, preserving balance between the forces of Darkness and Light. Therefore, now they can calmly enjoy safe business partnerships, a happy family life, and support from law enforcement agencies. However, it must not be forgotten that Selena in Libra tests the person’s alignment with the higher qualities of the sign in which she is placed every seven years, and in the case of sinful actions, weakens protection.

A conscious choice to act as a peacemaker, while observing the earthly and cosmic laws of justice and refusing judgment and gossip, will help preserve and increase bright karma for descendants.

Selena in the 8th House

Now the White Moon in the Eighth House shows that angelic protection will be with the native in the most difficult and dangerous situations, allowing them to emerge safe and unharmed from the murky waters of other people’s schemes, and even from beneath the rubble after earthquakes. Challenging aspects indicate that karma has not been fully worked through: a thirst for heroic deeds draws the native toward danger, but whether they can hear the guidance from above and open their soul and mind to the wisdom of the Higher Powers depends on their understanding of Selena’s essence.

Astrologers believe that in previous incarnations, a person with Selena in the Eighth House heroically saved people during war and natural disasters, risking their own life, and therefore now, in the first half of life, no danger threatens them.

LILITH

Lilith Lilith is considered a demon-temptress, but it is often not understood that at the highest level of consciousness development, she ceases to be a source of danger and, on the contrary, strengthens a person’s talents according to the sign and house in which she is placed.

For this reason, it is very important to bring one’s Lilith out of darkness and into the light. Then the courage for new exploration can manifest on a positive, creative level. This is a fictitious point in the horoscope, not a planet, but its power is often underestimated, while working through it is often considered impossible. However, the right actions and symbolism can work wonders.

Lilith shows the bottom, the darkest side of the person: the dark pit into which the native may fall if they give in to the temptation of lower vibrations and follow the path marked by Lilith. This should be kept in mind when reading a horoscope.

Lilith (Black Moon) in Sagittarius

With Lilith in the sign of Sagittarius, sensuality is expressed in a more measured way, since it is under strict control based on upbringing, moral and religious dogmas, philosophical convictions, or the influence of traditions from foreign cultures. Here the person must give up false teaching, the acceptance of alien ideology, the desire to rule over others in order to lead them or force them into sexual relations, as well as bribery or abuse of authority. It is considered together with the positions of the Lunar Nodes, Jupiter, Chiron, Mercury, Venus, and the Ninth House of the horoscope.

Lilith in the 10th House

A strong desire for power over others has remained from a previous life. Out of old habit, the person may pursue their goal by any means, even by stepping over dead bodies. They are driven onto this path by their heightened sexual potential, which compels them to seek and find victims in elite circles of society, who, as a result of being seduced and intoxicated by them, help them build a brilliant career. But here the desire to exceed authority, arbitrariness, tyranny, despotism, sadism, and cynicism will dominate. The person themselves, however, will also be threatened by many vicious enemies and serious dangers created by the very same machine they set in motion to destroy others who refused to submit to their will and lustful demands. Here, only a renunciation of everything illegal and dishonest, of undeserved fame and honors, can save them. They should devote their strength, knowledge, and all their abilities to the benefit of others; otherwise, they will lose all their regalia, be disgraced, crushed, and destroyed.

Lilith Aspects:

PART OF FORTUNE

PART OF FORTUNE

The Part of Fortune represents the path on which a person can achieve the greatest joy and fulfillment. It then becomes obvious that the Part of Fortune has much to do with how well a person meets and overcomes their negative karma, while at the same time creating and accepting the rewards of their positive karma.

The Part of Fortune, like the planet Jupiter, promises abundance. However, it encompasses a significantly larger part of a person’s existence than any specific planet. The Part of Fortune attunes the individual to the environment in which prosperity will be most natural for them, and determines for each person what their unique and special concept of success will be. It also shows the person’s strongest need, defining the keynote to which their entire being resonates.

Part of Fortune in Taurus

In this sign, for life success, the Part of Fortune requires from those under its influence such character traits as perseverance, persistence, endurance, patience, composure, restraint, the ability to concentrate, diligence, industriousness, thoroughness, caution, foresight, prudence, consistency, as well as honesty, decency, kindness and goodwill, and conscientious fulfillment of one’s duties. It is also good to have an attraction not only to material values, but also to spiritual ones, and to possess a sense of compassion and mercy. Serious attention to one’s appearance, behavior, and manner of communicating with others can be beneficial, as can the ability to look into the soul of one’s interlocutor or partner.

Success comes if the individual has their own goal in life and is able to direct all their strength and knowledge toward its realization. With such purposefulness, no one and nothing will be able to hinder them. This character trait, purposefulness, is worth more than gold, since it is one of the main components that lead to success and the desired happiness.

This position of the Part of Fortune brings success in the world of art, especially in music and vocal art, as well as in architecture, construction, and sports activities such as weightlifting. It is favorable for agriculture. Success awaits in financial and banking matters and in stock-exchange operations. These people are good craftsmen and goldsmiths, as well as designers, decorators, fashion designers, tailors, seamstresses, and cooks.

This position of the Part of Fortune promises income from friends, women, guardians, and patrons. Gifts and presents are possible with a favorable configuration of the Part of Fortune with Jupiter or Venus.

If afflicted, success may be restrained by increased willfulness, stubbornness, excessive sensitivity, passion, sensuality, insatiability, or bouts of laziness and apathy. Success may be hindered by excessive dogmatism, conservatism, slow thinking, and delayed reactions. The person should not rely only on their own point of view without taking the other person’s opinion into account. The path to happiness is often blocked by superficial pride, envy, jealousy, and an overly complex and uneven character.

Historical figures with the Part of Fortune in Taurus: Johannes Morinus, Martin Luther, Benjamin Franklin, Johann Wolfgang Goethe, Thomas Paine, Otto von Bismarck, Leon Trotsky, Yuri Andropov.
Additional description.

Part of Fortune in the Second House

The Part of Fortune in the Second House is the best position for obtaining good earnings and income, acquiring material and spiritual values, making investments, and carrying out financial transactions. Material expansion strengthens the possessive instinct, while the Part of Fortune gives the opportunity for enrichment, though through the person’s own capacity for work and endurance.

Here, the chances of success and prosperity increase in all matters connected with money and values. The greatest earnings come from activities related to banking and stock-exchange operations, scientific and religious work, jurisprudence, pedagogy and higher education, as well as music, vocal art, literary activity, and cultural events. A second factor that strengthens the material position is a lucky chance, for example, winning the lottery or at the races. However, despite the favorable financial position of the Part of Fortune, speculation should still be avoided here. Operations involving other people’s money, someone else’s capital, or a rich inheritance often bring great profit, as does close business cooperation with a marriage partner.

The Part of Fortune brings the greatest profit when it forms a conjunction with the cusp of this House of the horoscope or with the ruler of this House.

VERTEX

VertexIn the western hemisphere of every natal chart, a very important point can be found: the Vertex. It is compared to a handle on the gates of fate, which must be turned so that the doors open and allow the native into a new dimension. This is not just a point, but the peak of a sensitive axis in the horoscope, along which the electric current of karma flows. The Vertex is also called the electric Ascendant. It is activated unexpectedly during truly emotional periods of life.

The sign where this turning point of fate is located is at once an arena of passions, the scenery of the circumstances offered by life, and a clue to what exactly the native should develop within themselves. The aspects of the Vertex show talents and skills that are already present from the beginning, helping the native correspond to the scenario proposed by fate. These are magical tools that help the person pass through trials with honor and gain positive new experience in the houses where the Vertex is placed. More...

Strength Concentration (Astrodynes)

Strength ConcentrationThis section examines the concentration of energy in the natal chart: which signs, planets, and houses contain the main strength. Everyone knows the Sun zodiac sign, but when the signs are viewed through the prism of the natal chart, it becomes clear how energy is distributed between the two strongest signs, and the Sun sign is not always dominant.
The signs give an idea of natural, instinctive motivations, such as likes and dislikes, attitudes, and reactions, and make it possible to judge whether a calling is present. The two strongest signs are shown in the table below. For more details about the distribution of strength in the natal chart, see the “Astrodynes” section: link to the Astrodynes chart.

Now the planets that concentrate the main energy in the chart can be identified. The planet with the greatest number of “astrodynes” is considered the strongest planet in the chart, since it reflects the most powerful energetic potential. Why are strong planets so important? The most powerful planets in the table indicate potential that can easily be transformed into abilities. This is where the person can succeed and achieve the best results.
