Isabelle Huppert - Natal Chart Interpretation

Horoscope interpretation comes down to combining the meanings of the four basic elements of astrology — Planets, Signs, Aspects, and Houses — into a single whole, which is what makes each interpretation individual. More...

SUN

Strength: 28.12
Harmony: -6.96

SunThe SUN is the most important luminary, the center of life force. It can be compared to the king on a chessboard. It determines the health and well-being of the person born. It gives a creative impulse and ideals, including the desire for power, influence, and strength. The position of the main luminary in the natal chart has fateful significance. For example, the happiest people on Earth are those who do not have pronounced tense aspects to the Sun. At the same time, one might think that their character traits may be somewhat “soft,” because through the Sun a person develops the ego and strengthens the inner backbone of life. It is important to remember that the Sun represents the inner mind, not instinct. More...

Q Sun in Pisces c 25°

Pisces are vivid representatives of the Water element. They are born dreamers and quite romantic by nature. The description of Pisces shows that there is almost no rationality in them, but their constant building of castles in the air and painfully humanitarian aspirations are visible to the naked eye. They know all the weaknesses of their own nature very well and can easily joke about them. But allowing others to make fun of them is something they will never do.

Q Sun in the 3rd House

THIRD HOUSE (House of communication). SUN (planet of vital energy and individuality) in the Third House: the native has an active, creative mind and a need to share their ideas. They have chances to succeed in literature, teaching, and lecturing. Their gift for self-expression often makes them a leader in their field. Strengths: ability to learn, resourcefulness, cheerfulness. Weaknesses: disorganization, arrogance, misunderstandings with relatives.

Sun Aspects

Just as all the planets in the solar system revolve around the Sun, a person receives their life purpose from the Sun in the natal chart. The Sun is the ego, the “inner child” that makes the final decisions. It guides the person and can be considered the “boss” of the natal chart, especially in the charts of men. Read more

ASCENDANT

Strength: 74.48
Harmony: 20.07

In the birth chart, the Ascendant is the cusp of the First House. It is the second most important factor after the position of the Sun. The position of the Ascendant in the signs of the Zodiac determines how a person manifests outwardly. The position of a planet on the Ascendant significantly strengthens the expression of that planet’s qualities in the person. In general, the position of planets on or near the Ascendant is the third most important factor. The symbol used in the table is (ASC).

The Ascendant speaks of the mask a person wears in public; it is the first impression they make when meeting people. Often, when the person is puzzled by how others describe them, it is because others are describing this aspect of their personality. The Ascendant is present in the person’s appearance and individuality, sometimes extending as far as influencing physical characteristics. The sign becomes noticeably expressed in their image, style, and manner of carrying themselves. It is also reflected in the way they act. Some astrologers believe that the sign becomes weaker after a person reaches the age of 30, as their confidence in who they are grows. The rising sign manifests in the first personal traits inherent in the person and in the way they react to their environment.

ASCENDANT in Sagittarius l 22° - Ruler Jupiter and Neptune

Jupiter, the senior ruler of Sagittarius, is the great benefic, the planet of expansion, optimism, and luck. Jupiter gives typical Sagittarians inexhaustible optimism and faith in a better future; they do not tend to remember their failures for long. Their main characteristic is the ability to broaden their horizons, both through travel and through gaining new knowledge. This is why they love teaching and giving advice. A negative trait of Sagittarius is tactlessness and an excessive love of lecturing others and giving advice even when no one has asked for it.

People born with Sagittarius Rising tend to be idealistic, ambitious, enthusiastic, religious or agnostic, travelers, physically active, risk-taking, sociable, extroverted, philosophical, and somewhat biased and superficial. They are always on the move and constantly searching for a better place for themselves. The symbol of Sagittarius is the centaur, half human and half animal, and this is perhaps what they truly are. They have great aspirations, but also untamed natural desires. They can set high goals while at the same time following their lower impulses. They love animals, nature, sports, gambling, adventure, and travel. They may lack concentration. They probably have many acquaintances, but not many true friends. As a rule, they are more inclined toward casual connections than serious relationships.

Excessive impatience and a love of constant motion predominate in them. They are always searching for a better life, yet never stop or slow down long enough to understand where they are and what surrounds them. They tend to be talkative, direct, and to the point. Because of their frankness, they lack tact and diplomacy. Ideas are very important to them. In general, they enjoy working with large-scale projects, while small, insignificant details only irritate them. They promise a great deal, but carry out considerably less than they promised. They can rise to great heights or sink to the lowest depths. So what will they choose?

The main lesson to learn: develop self-restraint and stop putting everything off until later.

Jupiter and Neptune rule Sagittarius, so they are important to consider when interpreting the natal chart. Read more...

MIDHEAVEN (MC)

Strength: 60.82
Harmony: -6.06

МС

The Midheaven (Meridian, MC) is the culminating point of the natal chart. It symbolizes the noon of life and coincides with the cusp of the Tenth House of the horoscope. The Meridian line, MC - IC, is the vertical axis of the horoscope, while the Ascendant - Descendant line (AC - DC) is the horizontal axis. Together, they form the so-called “axial cross,” or “cross of fate.” In terms of importance, the Midheaven ranks third in the horoscope after the Ascendant and the position of the Sun. The Midheaven, like the Tenth House of the horoscope as a whole, symbolizes everything connected with the person’s profession and social standing: success or lack of success in society, career, popularity, fame, titles, awards, or the absence of these. It shows the person as an individual within society, points to their professional skills, and indicates the possibility of rising up the social ladder.

Midheaven in Libra j 22° - Ruler Venus

Ruler: Venus. The MC in Libra often gives a well-known or popular person. They may be known, for example, in professional circles, or they may be involved in work that requires being visible: the stage, radio, or television. Often, such a person becomes a public favorite, a trendsetter, or the face of a certain movement.

As is well known, Libra is drawn to everything beautiful, graceful, and refined, so professions connected with art are not uncommon among people with this Midheaven placement. Their desire for harmony and ability to smooth over sharp edges may lead them into diplomatic work. Libra is often a representative of someone or something; for example, ambassadors represent a country. Final responsibility and major decisions may not rest with them, yet they are visible, significant, and in a special position; in one way or another, they are chosen, which is very important for Libra. They always try to secure a place that is higher, safer, and more comfortable. Their inner motivation is a social position that satisfies their pride, along with financial security.

Many people with the MC in Libra become coauthors, which is no surprise, since Libra is the sign of cooperation. Still, their actions are always aimed at carrying out their own ambitious plans and often have a clearly speculative quality. Libra knows how to manipulate people like no one else: subtle diplomacy, skillfully concealed cunning, and calculation help them advance their plans and achieve their goals. Connections play a very important role in their life; it is through them that Libra ultimately finds what they need. Their outward warmth and friendliness are not always sincere and may simply be a way of communicating with the outside world. Even love affairs and marriage may be entered into for professional reasons, especially among people in science or the arts. Read more...

MOON

Strength: 22.14
Harmony: -3.24

Moon The Moon is a transmitter of sensations, emotions, and moods. It rules the spheres of the soul and subconscious, innate reflexes, and habits that come from childhood. The Moon is the ruler of Cancer. Taurus is considered the sign of its exaltation. Capricorn is considered the sign of its fall, and Scorpio the sign of its detriment, or exile. If the Moon has strong essential dignity in the horoscope and forms harmonious interactions with other planets in the natal chart, the native feels inner harmony; even when difficulties arise in life, they overcome periods of trouble with ease. W Moon in Aries a 03°

The Moon: the second most important luminary, and often the first in a woman’s chart. The Moon gathers and transforms the energy of the other planets, especially the Sun. It rules instincts and emotions. It is the planet of moods. It symbolizes the feminine principle, conception, and motherhood, unlike Venus, which symbolizes sensual love.

Moon in AriesThe native is characterized by adaptability and inconsistency in their efforts. Frequent emotional upheavals are possible because of their hot-tempered nature, since calm is not their strong suit. If things do not go the way they want, they may simply burn out like a light bulb. People born with the Moon in Aries are also spontaneous, temperamental, impulsive, and stubborn, and they strongly dislike restrictions.

The ability to establish connections is traditionally considered Mercury’s most specific “character” trait. JUPITER

Strength: 19.84

Jupiter In the astrological theater, Jupiter plays the role of the “Great Benefic.” Since antiquity, it has been associated with luck and material blessings. Yet the largest planet in the solar system has other purposes as well. It is responsible for spiritual and intellectual development and encourages a person to search for the meaning of life. From a psychological point of view, Jupiter embodies the generous, fair father. Its main enemies are stagnation and boredom. The giant rules the Ninth and Twelfth Houses.

The remarkable qualities of a strong Jupiterian person are often not their own achievement, but the result of fantastic luck. A winning lottery ticket or an unexpected inheritance are typical gifts from generous Jupiter. More...

It rules the Tenth astrological House and is responsible for career, social status, and reputation.

URANUS

Strength: 37.53
Harmony: 1.51

Uranus Uranus is a symbol of suddenness and surprise, originality and eccentricity, unforeseen actions and behavior, various shifts and changes, turning points and rearrangements of both a positive and negative nature. Under its influence, past and present values are reassessed, and the future is anticipated.

Uranus is the sign of higher reason and almost supernatural intuition. It gives rise to true geniuses, people who are ahead of their time and remain misunderstood by their own generation. Uranus represents a projected point of the unconscious, yet it brings highly symbolic images and impulses into a person’s consciousness, arising both while awake and in dreams. This distinctive power to form images gives birth to intuition and inspiration, a flash of creative force, as well as scientists and inventors, poets and performers, musicians and artists, statesmen and political figures, religious reformers and revolutionaries.

Driven by the desire to play by its own rules, Uranus embodies change, reform, evolution, and revolution. More...

PLUTO

Strength: 60.19
Harmony: 24.84

Pluto PLUTO is the main ruler of all collective mysteries, gatherings, rallies, demonstrations, and similar mass events. Together with Uranus, it destroys old, rotten, outdated political world systems, creating new ones separately for each nation and state.

On the one hand, Pluto shows a person as an integral being; on the other, as a particle of the cosmos and of a given society. Pluto symbolizes the final stage of the individuation process, a second birth or rebirth, after which the person becomes more complete. In one case, it may bring the person under its influence brilliant success and career advancement, unexpected wealth or worldwide fame, influence over the masses, the crowd, the public, or an audience, and a social rise as rapid and dazzling as a meteor. In another case, it may bring total losses. More...

M Chiron in the 1st House

Most importantly, Chiron’s gifts are the talent of duality and adaptability in those spheres and areas of life indicated by the leading principles of that House of the horoscope. This person can skillfully, artfully, and deftly combine opposites. Their cunning, craftiness, and ability to maneuver are boundless.

The action of Chiron in the First House is the strongest. Cunning, craftiness, the ability to flatter, diplomatic abilities, and adaptability are second nature to people with this position of Chiron, while the art of combining opposites is their special talent. These are chameleon-like people, Figaro squared or even cubed. They are capable of being one thing and another at the same time, serving both sides, engaging in several matters at once, and skillfully changing the tactics of a conversation, their state of mind, and even their outward appearance. There are many examples of this in life: a physicist may also be a wonderful poet filled with romance and lyricism; a mathematician may play the violin brilliantly; an astronaut may have the talent of an artist; and a scholar may be an unsurpassed spy.

NATAL CHART HOUSES

HOROSCOPE HOUSES

The Houses provide information about how, where, and to what extent a person's characteristic traits will manifest, how their potential will be revealed, and how all of this will be realized in everyday life. Each House represents a specific sphere of human life. The Houses reflect a person's life in society, the kind of person life compels them to become, and show acquired skills, habits, methods, and goals that life sets before the person, as well as the ways through which they will move toward their goal.

1st HOUSE - l 22°

Strength: 101.75
Harmony: 11.09

1st House in Sagittarius - Ruler of Jupiter and Neptune

The First House is angular, which means it possesses qualities such as activity, initiative, and dynamism. It is the first of the Houses of life, and in this capacity, it represents the physical aspect of the personality — the body.

The First House in Sagittarius gives the native a distinctive manner of communication with others, who feel as though they have met a childhood friend returning from a distant journey. They break the rules of etiquette, immediately shifting to informal communication with somewhat rough humor and heartfelt conversations. The native is smiling and sociable, yet carries themselves with regal dignity and will not tolerate criticism or arguments on topics that are important to them.

Jupiter and Neptune rule Sagittarius, so their influence should be taken into account when analyzing the First House (Ascendant).

2nd HOUSE - x 02°

Strength: 26.73
Harmony: -9.32

2nd House in Aquarius - Ruler of Uranus and Saturn

The Second House is the place of a person’s financial power. It shows the source of stable income from which the native can move toward the wealth of the Eighth sector, as well as find connections with their life purpose through the Tenth House, creating prosperity, well-being, and the happiness of public recognition. It is important to understand the ways of interacting with money, the nature of spending, and one’s own behavior in financial matters.

Eccentric Aquarius gives free-thinking and extravagant behavior in material matters. The key word here is freedom. Money comes and goes easily. It is difficult for the native to hold on to even large sums. At a lower level of development, they spend lavishly and try to impress others with outward show; at a higher level, they are simply not interested in everyday comfort and do not become attached to possessions. In both cases, they are a benefactor.

The senior ruler Uranus and the junior ruler Saturn rule Aquarius, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the Second House.

3rd HOUSE - c 17°

Strength: 99.86
Harmony: -14.79

3rd House in Pisces - Ruler of Neptune and Jupiter

The Third House is defined as the House of communication, the sphere in which a person feels the need to express their ideas, whether orally or in writing. As the House that signifies family ties, it primarily includes a person’s brothers and sisters, if they have any, and describes the nature of their relationship with them. In addition, it also points to relationships with other people in the immediate environment, such as neighbors, for example. But this is not all — it also indicates nearby, short-distance travel in the local area: by car, bus, train, or bicycle. The Third House belongs to the cadent Houses and indicates the ability of the native’s mind (Mercury) to learn, perceive different ideas, and adapt to various teachings; in practical terms, this means schooling and primary education.

If the Third House is in Pisces, its ruler is the most mysterious and unpredictable planet: Neptune. Hard aspects draw the native into intrigues and confrontations with hidden enemies. When the chart is favorable, events unfold in such a way that they study at a school with an artistic focus or shine on stage, win painting competitions, and, with a strong Moon, also sing. The star of the school or the victim of secret conspiracies — these are two extremes that are difficult to avoid.

The senior ruler Neptune and the junior ruler Jupiter rule Pisces, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the Third House.

4th HOUSE - a 22°

Strength: 133.64
Harmony: -51.48

4th House in Aries - Ruler of Mars and Pluto

The Fourth House is connected with a person’s private life and the way they would like to arrange their home. This is also where the roots of their origin should be sought. It is the House of motherhood and childcare. It also describes property, housing, real estate, and similar matters. The Fourth House also points to the final years of life and the end of a person’s physical existence. From this perspective, the Eighth House is considered the House of spiritual transformation and liberation, while the Twelfth House is the House in which a person’s restless thoughts and agitated rational mind must be calmed.

With the Fourth House in Aries, childhood and the home environment in adulthood unfold as if the native were on a campaign by a campfire, in harsh, almost military conditions. The native suffers because of this, since the atmosphere at home is heated as well: frequent quarrels and a struggle for dominance between the mother and father. Paradoxically, after finding family happiness with a calm and loving partner, they may begin to miss the battles and conflicts that symbolize passion and a stimulus for growth.

The senior ruler Mars and the junior ruler Pluto rule Aries, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the Fourth House.

5th HOUSE - s 16°

Strength: 41.70
Harmony: -2.46

5th House in Taurus - Ruler of Venus

The Fifth House is a House of life that carries the fiery energy of inspiration and the power of motivation. The warmth of this fire extends to others as well. For this reason, this House is considered the House of love that a person gives to others. The love given in connection with this House is not the affection associated with Venus in astrology, nor the sexual instincts related to Mars, but love that comes from the heart — the very quality that is the main characteristic of Leo.

The Fifth House in Taurus forms a sensual and deeply loving nature. Children become the foundation of the person’s life philosophy, although difficulties with conception may often arise. The person wants to enjoy all the material pleasures of life, give their children access to the best things and a prestigious education, and provide them with housing.

Venus rules Taurus, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Fifth House.

6th HOUSE - d 05°

Strength: 13.25
Harmony: -0.66

6th House in Gemini - Ruler of Mercury

The Sixth House is traditionally associated with work, health, and service. This House is still focused on the individual, on the “me.” It expresses a person’s attitude toward employment: whether they will do the work voluntarily or whether it will feel like a heavy burden. The Sixth House also indicates a person’s habits, established routine, occupation, general nutrition and, in particular, diet, as well as pets.

The sign of Gemini on the cusp of the Sixth House encourages the native toward Mercury-ruled activities: journalism, trade, marketing, and teaching. The person loves being aware of everything happening in the office and enjoys demonstrating how well-informed they are, but they may also become a victim of gossip.

Mercury rules Gemini, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Sixth House.

7th HOUSE - d 22°

Strength: 56.31
Harmony: 0.04

7th House in Gemini - Ruler of Mercury

When describing the properties of the Seventh House as an angular House, it is customary to say that it manifests openly and through the public sphere. Traditionally, it is considered the House of relationships in all areas of life: love, friendship, cooperation, and even enmity. It shows what a person expects from contact with other people and how they express themselves in any union. The Seventh House teaches development through the close social circle, the ability to accept the successes of others, and the ability to learn missing qualities from enemies. The likelihood of marriage and divorce, as well as the personality of the spouse, can also be read through the planets and sign.

The Seventh House in Gemini creates a person who is easy to communicate with, quick to fall in love, and charming in the superficiality of their feelings. They may enter marriage many times and divorce calmly, anticipating new adventures, since they are confident that there are plenty of options available to them. Serious long-term relationships are possible when the Earth element dominates in the horoscope.

Mercury rules Gemini, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Seventh House.

8th HOUSE - g 02°

Strength: 74.25
Harmony: 21.36

8th House in Leo - Ruler of Sun

The key words for the Eighth House are usually considered to be “sex,” “death,” “big money,” and “personal transformation.” It is clear that sex can appear in several forms: as pure passion, as a force aimed at producing offspring, or as an expression of a deep feeling of love. Death also has several meanings and is not reduced only to the death of a specific human being. It can serve as a symbol of a certain idea, thought, undertaking, or even illness that disappears as a result of transformation.

If the Eighth House is in Leo, the horoscope holder is a lucky thrill-seeker. They are drawn to dangerous adventures and the trials of fame, and they perceive all blows of fate with optimism. By overcoming them, the person strengthens their self-confidence. Wealth and fame will come if the Sun is strong. When afflicted, it is easy to burn out in the crucible of passions, ambitions, and carelessness.

9th House in Virgo - Ruler of Mercury

The Ninth House gives life higher meaning, expands the worldview, and encourages the search for keys to knowledge. This is a place of good fortune, considering that its symbolic ruler is Jupiter, the planet of great happiness, as well as connections with a new world. This manifests through higher education, travel to other countries, business contacts with foreigners, the spouse’s relatives, and esoteric knowledge. All of this expands the boundaries of consciousness and opens new paths of development.

The Ninth House in Virgo creates a seeker of truth who strives to assemble a complete puzzle of reality from the smallest details, sometimes not realizing that the overall picture depends on the pieces they have chosen. The more attentive they are, the more beautiful the result will be.

10th House in Libra - Ruler of Venus

The Tenth House occupies the highest position in the horoscope, emphasizing the culminating nature of the corresponding area and pointing to the highest goal the person should strive to achieve. Therefore, the Tenth House indicates a possible profession, social position and reputation, as well as, in a broader sense, the true needs of the self. The key words for the Tenth House are social realization, recognition, success, fame, and renown.

A person with the Tenth House in Libra sees obtaining high social status as their main life task, but at a low level of development they are bound by social clichés, exalting elitism and prestige while ignoring spirituality.

Strength: 9.92

12th House in Sagittarius - Ruler of Jupiter and Neptune

The Twelfth House is the last in the Zodiac. Pisces is the symbolic sign, and Neptune is the symbolic ruler of the Twelfth House. Since Neptune is the planet of delusion and enlightenment, spiritual impulse and the desire to overcome the inertia of the physical world, it can be assumed that the Twelfth House is connected with a certain mystery. Pisces is sensitive and intuitive, inclined toward compassion and self-sacrifice — all of this largely defines the nature of the Twelfth House.

In a psychological sense, this is the native’s subconscious, inner world, largely hidden even from themselves, where all the joys and sorrows experienced since birth are immersed. Whether the native wants to look into their inner self and work with it depends entirely on them and on the decision they make. Some people expect the horoscope to make life easier, while others would like to use it in order to seriously understand themselves. The choice here depends on whether the person wants to consciously explore their inner world or is content for it to remain unknown. It is the Twelfth House that gives the opportunity to find one’s true self, gain faith, and receive inspiration.

The Twelfth House in Sagittarius brings horoscope holders many dangers connected with great ambitions and Napoleonic plans, but it also gives a powerful source of energy for overcoming obstacles, especially if Jupiter is strong and harmonious. In the struggle against enemies, a high level of erudition, legal savvy, and influential patrons help.

The senior ruler Jupiter and the junior ruler Neptune rule Sagittarius, so their influence should be taken into account when analyzing the Twelfth House.

KARMIC INDICATORS

KARMA

Karmic indicators help a person become aware of deep-rooted problems that go back to past lives, and begin working on themselves in order to overcome them and improve both this life and, potentially, the next one. Karmic problems should not be understood as punishment for misdeeds and sins, as karma is usually interpreted in the everyday sense. Karma is not retribution, but rather inertia, when a person attracts similar situations from one life to another. From a karmic point of view, every element of the natal chart can be interpreted without exception. However, the most important indicators of karma in the horoscope are retrograde planets, if any, and the Lunar Nodes.

Retrograde Planets

Retrograde planets are always connected with turning back to the past. The more retrograde planets a person has in the horoscope, the stronger their connection with the past. A retrograde planet also points to an unresolved task from a past life, unfinished business, or unrealized abilities. It forces the person to take up again what could not be completed in the past. The symbol used in the table is R.

Retrograde Mercury — Individuality

When Mercury is retrograde in the horoscope, the individual’s conscious mind is able to intercept ideas from the universal consciousness of earlier times. Usually, they are not aware of this, but they are aware that they cannot easily make others understand everything they know. This is partly connected with the inversion of the Mercury symbol, in which the significance of Matter exceeds the significance of Spirit and Soul. This makes the individual concerned with the form of their ideas. And this acts as a barrier to the essence of their knowledge.

In addition, the wavelength of their mind differs slightly from what is accepted in society. Thought processes tend to repeat themselves like an endless recording, and as a result, most of the things they create are, in one form or another, copies of what they have already done. When they speak, it is difficult for them to project the exact telepathic pictures that convey the meanings of their thoughts. Thus, they often feel misunderstood and wonder why others do not always see things the same way they do.

They see themselves as more separate from society than a person with Mercury in direct motion may be. As a result, they desperately try to develop contacts with other people, overemphasizing their ideas until they begin to irritate those around them. Feeling constrained in company, they make great efforts to win the favor of others. Nevertheless, at the slightest hint of rejection, they may give up too easily. Ultimately, they learn that in order to have self-confidence, they must become more detached and impartial than people with Mercury in direct motion. This is often interpreted by others as “coldness,” but it is simply the vibration of retrograde Mercury, which is so obviously disharmonious with the vibrations of direct motion. Behind the apparent wall, this individual is far more sensitive than most people can imagine.

Once the communication barrier has been crossed, tremendous understanding and intuition emanate from retrograde Mercury. The retrograde individual does not fit into the ideas and opinions of the people around them. Instead, they can find peace in gratitude for their unique way of seeing things.

It is interesting to note that many people with musical talent have retrograde Mercury. Perhaps awareness of difficulties with spoken language led them to another form of communication, one that has much greater freedom and many levels of subtle mental and emotional expression.

Retrograde Mercury — Karma

A person with retrograde Mercury must experience unresolved relationship karma. They react to others as if those people symbolize figures from their past. Thus, it is difficult for them to keep the focus of their consciousness on the “here and now.” Usually, this manifests as difficulties with family and relatives. But the issue of relationships extends beyond communication with other people and includes the perception of the universe as a whole. There is often a problem characteristic of retrograde Mercury in terms of seeing what may be called an inverted reality. The individual has difficulty understanding the basic relationship between cause and effect. They explore the essence of life itself, yet often cannot see the simple connections between things, circumstances, and people. Lost in thoughts that lie beyond their understanding, they must learn to be content with the simple things on which life is based. They are so absorbed in uncovering what is beyond their understanding that they almost always miss the obvious.

From a karmic point of view, this individual must learn to focus attention on the reality of the present rather than lose themselves in all the apparent layers they perceive. When they are able to do this, they will be able to establish a solid point of reference in the “here and now,” through which all the discoveries they make can be expressed to the outer world.

Retrograde Mercury in Pisces

With this position of retrograde Mercury, the individual may experience great confusion of consciousness. They continue to think they are lost, yet cannot correctly understand the keynote of their feelings. In past incarnations, they experienced great despair and madness in their thoughts. Now they continue to recreate the same circumstances and events that will allow them to replay this despair, so that they may eventually find the solution they were seeking. They will be able to find the answers only when they become aware of their questions.

One of their difficulties is that they have trouble separating mental energy from intuition. Losing themselves in imagination, thoughts, and fantasies, they may fall out of contact with clear reality. They often think that others do not understand the vastness of the ideas they are trying to express. They may know and understand things that are beyond words, but when they try to express them through language, they feel that they literally lose the essence of the idea.

Bringing into this incarnation a sense of cosmic idealism that they find difficult to explain, they experience a valid conflict between joining the world as they see it now and wanting to slip away from it. They do not consider themselves worthy of being accepted by other people, yet at the same time they want to know whether the values of social acceptance represent any reality.

They feel most comfortable in Phase III of the retrograde process, where, in its absorbing vibration, they can reflect on everything they have already experienced. Phase II is the least comfortable for them, when, through the actual experience of everything that had already flashed before them in the past, they are given the poorest opportunity to express their imagination and manifest creative originality.

Retrograde Mercury in the Third House

Here, retrograde Mercury is in the House it rules. Essentially, it experiences considerable flexibility as it moves through its three phases. The individual is mentally very active and focuses much of the chart’s energy on trying to be understood by others. They often suppress their full expression if they feel that others will misunderstand what they are saying. Yet they have much they would like to say. In Phase III of the retrograde process, they spend a great deal of energy going back over the thoughts they have expressed in order to make sure they conveyed them to others as they intended. They experience the greatest difficulties in relationships with other people when trying to synchronize their own understanding with that of those around them. Sometimes there is a family problem involving a brother or sister.

With this position, the individual brings strong relationship karma into this life. And because they are always studying the relationships among all things and people in their life, they constantly shift their wavelength in accordance with what they sense around them. Sometimes this can cause stuttering or make mental expression difficult. Thus, despite a flexible mentality, they have great difficulty with the smooth flow of patterns when trying to express what they know. They may get stuck in speech, constantly trying to find the right word that will convey everything they want to say. Once they have spoken, they will check the reaction to what was said in order to understand whether they should jump into the next retrograde phase or remain longer in the one that may have proved successful. Nevertheless, this is one of the most analytical thinkers of the zodiac.

Retrograde Saturn - Individuality

A native with retrograde Saturn takes very seriously the completion of everything they left unfinished in the past. They tend to go back in order to fill any gaps in what they once too hastily considered complete. Essentially, they are thoughtful and balanced. At times, they may seem overly cautious or too frugal, but any restraint on their part is entirely based on their need to preserve substance for important use. They consider excessive spending or wastefulness harmful, because they experienced this in past lives. Now they deeply value everything they learn or receive. Often, they feel an inner duty to God, which manifests as a powerful sense of gratitude for everything they see around them.

They try to teach other people who are less knowledgeable or experienced than they are. However, this is unsuccessful if those people have not experienced the native’s “fall from grace” in a past life and the great struggle that has now earned them the way back. As a result, retrograde Saturn carries an “inborn” maturity that cannot be achieved without great personal struggle and sacrifice.

Retrograde Saturn - Karma

Retrograde Saturn always indicates ongoing karma from past incarnations. Whatever the lesson may be, the native is unusually slow in bringing it to completion. Therefore, in this life, they must carry an additional burden from a past life within their soul. When the two lives finally come together, their true mission should become clear to them. Much of what they do in this life is a repetition of what their Saturn already stands for. But now they are faced with circumstances and situations that are somewhat different. The retrograde action of the planet may make them feel a restraining force, especially if they try to escape the weight of its lesson. But if they follow it, understanding that its patient guidance is slowly leading them toward identification with something higher than they could have imagined, then through this planet they can come to appreciate the workings of a beautiful divine universe.

Saturn is the person’s teacher, and when it is retrograde, it means the native experienced similar training before this life. Over the course of life, retrograde Saturn provides a tremendous amount of wisdom.

For Saturn, the retrograde position is the most natural and comfortable one, because it gives the native something like a second chance to refine the relationship formed between their soul, the circumstances they encountered in a past incarnation, and the way those circumstances were understood. Now, under Saturn’s calm guidance, the person can give form to everything they learned in the past.

Retrograde Saturn in Libra

With this placement, retrograde Saturn adds inner maturity to the indecisive qualities of Libra. The native feels a strong responsibility for others. Often, they experience other people’s karma more intensely than those people do themselves, which can naturally throw them off balance. In general, however, their judgment is quite sound, and they are able to bring themselves back into balance.

A born peacemaker, they often find themselves between opposing people or ideas. From this position, they try to bring agreement by establishing a balanced third point that expresses the positive aspects of both sides.

They are actually capable of changing and reshaping the karmic direction of the people with whom they come into contact. As a result of meeting them, others begin to reevaluate and proportionally weigh their past beliefs and the direction in which they are moving. Thus, for many people, this placement gives an opportunity to look objectively at their purpose in life and reassess it. For the native with retrograde Saturn in Libra, life is a series of turns and bends until they realize that their karmic mission in this incarnation is not focused on themselves, but rather on helping guide other people toward a more balanced purpose. They accomplish this by setting an example of balance through the harmonization of apparent opposites in thought. In doing so, they discover the unity of human ideals.

Their adaptability allows them to move from one retrograde phase to another entirely according to the need of the moment. Thus, this is truly one of God’s most versatile and valuable helpers.

Retrograde Saturn in the Tenth House

Here Saturn is in its natural House. The native spends a great deal of time in Phase Three of the retrograde process, reviewing the prestige and dignity they achieved in the past, thereby defining their present opinion of themselves. Essentially, they are highly aware of status, especially within a group of equals. At times, they evaluate themselves in relation to former peer groups and to the extent to which they have now reached or surpassed them.

This is a placement of devotion for retrograde Saturn. The native feels a strong sense of responsibility and must answer to themselves for everything they do. Therefore, they are deeply concerned with seeing their life as a tangible, formative structure that has followed a more or less reasonable path from the earliest point of their memory up to the present moment. They are quite crystallized in this respect, and reason and logic may escape them if these would mean deviating from a preprogrammed sense of duty toward their self-image. This effect comes from those rare moments when they experience Phase One of the retrograde process.

The only way they can be led aside is by something that will improve their self-image in the future, provided that nothing from their past is destroyed in the process. Karmically, they are trying to establish a sense of principle that was not fully formed in past lives and that they do not truly possess in this life. It is formulated only in the areas of career, public image, and a sense of duty toward society.

Retrograde Uranus - Individuality

A person with retrograde Uranus reveals a rather unique individuality.

At the deepest levels, they are a rebel against everything that binds them. If the person is timid, they may experience claustrophobia. If they are fearless, they will try to overturn everything they believe has outlived its usefulness. They cannot be satisfied with simply moving through life, because they see too many things that could enrich humanity if only society would shake off all its false anchors of security.

They become uneasy if other people respond to them too favorably, because then they feel they have lost a significant part of themselves. Therefore, from time to time, they will lose friends and acquaintances, sometimes jobs and romantic attachments, all because other people often find it too difficult to accept the unusual nature of their ideas. Yet years later, when society begins to defend everything they once stood for, they will no longer be interested in all the progressive theories or positions they promoted in their time. In this way, they are very much a herald of the future. Because of this, they may experience loneliness, but they would never give up their gift of originality for the company of other people. They know that, above all, their Soul must be free. Anything that obstructs this freedom, they will sweep out of their path.

For those who are able to understand them, they are a most fascinating conversationalist, because they are literally filled with all the ideas humanity needs for the future of the human race.

Retrograde Uranus - Karma

On a personal level, retrograde Uranus creates disorder in human relationships. The native experiences an inner changeability that often makes them hypocritical toward themselves. Their mental and emotional levels often struggle with each other, so they may know certain things that should lead them in the direction indicated by their knowledge, while at the same time feeling other things that may lead them in an entirely different direction.

They are living through the karma of learning how to express the inner freedom they bring into this life. And they must not be bound by attempts to explain the meaning of everything all the time, either to others or even to themselves. A free spirit does not always appear to make sense. The fact is that the logical extension of common sense in a person is more of a Saturnian trait, connected with the rigidity of order, discipline, and directing oneself toward specific goals. But the native with retrograde Uranus is not living through that kind of karma.

In order to explore their inner existence, as well as many other realms of understanding that humanity as a whole has not yet reached, they follow a long and winding path in search of the formulas that make the world work. Nevertheless, they know that their search is an endless process, because every new discovery leads to yet another question. They can be extremely happy as long as others do not try to force them into patterns of thought and behavior whose limits they have already crossed, because of the meaninglessness of the roles those patterns play in their perception of the greater design.

They learned how to be independent in previous incarnations, and now they must use that independence to rediscover and understand the reason they originally wanted it.

Retrograde Uranus in Cancer

Here the native experiences changes in their family structure. They are involved in constant emotional upheaval arising from experiences for which they are not prepared. In a woman’s chart, this placement sometimes indicates a child born outside marriage. When the question of terminating a pregnancy arises, she is faced with Cancer’s need for motherhood conflicting with retrograde Uranus’s need for personal freedom.

Whether the native is male or female, a disharmonious emotional makeup is caused by the constant examination and analysis of everything; the native never allows a settled emotional life to fully develop. Spending a great deal of time in Phases One and Three of the retrograde process, the native longs for immediate answers to all their feelings, but in their search they tend to pass right by those answers. They may become very zealous, trying again and again to solve problems they actually experienced many years ago. Their greatest difficulty is synchronization within the dimension of time, where they continue to reevaluate their past in the hope that this will create a better future. However, because they do this, the future actually becomes a mirror reflection of their past. Emotional disappointment is always present here, because they try to rebel against their family while still benefiting from everything it gives them.

The karmic lesson with this placement is to learn emotional contentment. From experience in past incarnations, the native has not yet developed a true sense of gratitude for everything they have been given.

Retrograde Uranus in the Seventh House

Here the native feels the need to develop confidence in their own strength. Essentially, they tend to attract people whom they believe they can rely on. But because these people are “Uranian” by nature, their unreliability forces the native to become stronger within themselves.

This placement of retrograde Uranus signifies the “reaping” of karmic fruits, especially in the areas of marriage and relationships, until the native learns how to become more objective in defining their needs. They must come to understand that in past lives they expected too much from others, and that continuing such patterns is unrealistic as well as unnecessary.

This position often indicates more than one marriage. It also indicates difficulty maintaining a certain level of sexual warmth with the opposite sex. Relationships become a kaleidoscope of unexpected events that seem constantly threatened with collapse. Once the native can realize that, on the Soul level, they are their own partner, others will change their attitude toward them. Before this happens, other people will relate to their Uranian or impersonal part, while the native expects them to connect with their personal part. Thus, this placement brings tremendous forced growth of the Soul, as the native learns, perhaps after many lifetimes, to finally stand on their own feet.

The retrograde phase they experience will constantly change according to the nature of the person they are interacting with, because the native is constantly trying to synchronize themselves with others until they learn that they do not have to do this. Then they will develop an inner awareness of their cosmic connection with every person they come into contact with.

Retrograde Neptune - Individuality

The individuality of a person with retrograde Neptune is not easy for others to understand. Their motives do not contain the common sense that anyone might expect to find at the root of all motivations. Instead, they are attuned to a higher music that only they can hear. Their perceptions do not come from the material plane; they are a direct connection with their Soul. Thus, they may be very spiritual, but they care little for the formal side of orthodox religion. They may have a great love of music, but cannot be assigned to any particular artificial structure within it. They feel almost everything, but they connect their feelings with physical reality far less than with the perception of the cosmic universe. They know far more than they can even express in words, and here again they recognize the limiting qualities of language, which is merely another formed boundary that can enclose their boundless understanding. They are able to understand the appearances and illusions in which others live, and therefore must try to strike the best possible bargain: not to knock down other people’s sand castles, while still preserving all the inner truths they know.

Retrograde Neptune - Karma

The native with retrograde Neptune is living through the karma of learning how to sort out what is real from the standpoint of their ideals and what only appears to fulfill their dreams. They know what they need, but it is difficult for them to find it in the outer world. Constantly living through dreams, they often get carried away, running from imaginary shadows while chasing unrealistic fantasies. Nevertheless, they must find their ideals in the “formless” world that strongly influences them. They sometimes make the mistake of projecting past dreams into present situations. This prevents them from clearly seeing the reality of the present. They are highly intuitive and, through the various retrograde phases, are often able to know the outcome of situations long before they enter them. But until they learn how to handle the subtle flow of Neptunian energy they feel within themselves, they will not easily trust their intuition.

The native must learn how to blend their feelings with the ideals and dreams they bring into this life. Instead of trying to distort perception in order to make the present conform to the past, the person must realize which parts of the present truly symbolize the karmically unfinished parts of the past.

Retrograde Neptune in Libra

Here the native experiences Phase Three of the retrograde process, when they impartially absorb impressions from their surroundings. They usually think that all the feelings they experience are their own, and that they ultimately require some action or decision on their part. The fact is, however, that this placement gives the native the opportunity to experience much within the universe. At the same time, they are not required to take it personally.

They are very sensitive, especially to music and art, and they find it difficult to deal with the harshness of life, to which they are excessively open. They make the mistake of believing that they must balance everything around them in order to balance themselves. This apparently causes them to become involved in other people’s affairs more than is actually useful. They must understand that every new grain of sand they add to the scales of Libra as a balanced solution to what already exists creates the next imbalance, which then requires a new solution. Many people with this placement become so disappointed in trying to center the world around themselves that they eventually turn to drugs or other forms of escapism in order to avoid realizing that their personal difficulties come from problems that do not require solutions.

When this configuration is used properly, it gives the native tremendous understanding of their mirror reflection, or of that part of their individuality that they see through the eyes of others. Karmically, they can learn to integrate better into society through this type of vision. At the same time, they will move farther away from their essential self, as they strive to know themselves through others. They can achieve happiness when they realize that a person does not receive happiness, but discovers it in a more or less constant state of satisfaction with life experience and with the tiny role a person plays within the totality of the cosmic plan.

Retrograde Neptune in the Tenth House

Here retrograde Neptune finds itself in a difficult position. The native’s personal need for direction in life is constantly dissolved by the formlessness of the cosmic reality they reach. They often feel confused about their goals, because they sense the boundless design of the world and find it difficult to oppose anything to it. Essentially, they may have tremendous insight, but their drive is weakened by their noncompetitive nature.

They can be very creative and should be involved in work where inspiration and visionary qualities are needed. If the sign on the cusp of the Tenth House is negative, the native spends a great deal of time in Phase Three of the retrograde process, where they not only absorb the ideals of their peers, but also experience timidity when faced with public situations. The person makes their way through the karma of learning how to be impartial in their career and not identify with status or social position. When they learn this, they can be highly intuitive and prophetic, experiencing great public success precisely because they do not strive for it.

Perhaps the simplest way for them to reach a true understanding of their feelings is to realize that the one who wins the “rat race” has merely proved that they are the biggest rat!

Retrograde Pluto - Individuality

The native with retrograde Pluto perceives the troubles of society as a personal reason to transform themselves. They know they cannot change the world, although they would like to do so if it were possible. But they can change the world within themselves by severing ties with everything that has bound them to their unpurified existence. This process takes many years, and sometimes many lifetimes are required to achieve it. In its highest manifestation, it represents true Christ consciousness, bringing the purest form of love to earth.

On a smaller scale and at a more ordinary level, they constantly remove from their life all those factors that hinder the progress of their Soul and the expression of their Spirit.

The native with retrograde Pluto experiences humanity’s struggle as a very personal struggle within themselves. They personally feel the need to overcome within themselves everything that lowers the consciousness of the society in which they live. Therefore, they perceive other people’s dishonesty toward themselves as a personal insult and a challenge to the forward movement they feel they must make for the ultimate good of the civilization of which they are an important part. They must learn to become a little more detached from the habitual patterns and behavioral characteristics of people whose lives have so little in common with their own true inner reality.

Retrograde Pluto - Karma

The native with retrograde Pluto is living through the karma of coming to know mass consciousness within themselves. They feel the impact of world thought and are aware of how it is connected with world thought throughout the centuries. Not always expressing outwardly what they know, they tend to view other people more as part of a greater whole than by relating to them one-on-one. In personal life, what they do is far less important than what they think about what they do. They live much of the time in their consciousness, sifting through a vast multitude of feelings.

The spiritual growth possible with retrograde Pluto is limited only by the native’s conscious mind. They can rise above a significant part of the karma of the entire human race if they choose to. Interestingly enough, if they try to avoid elevating their karma, they will in one way or another feel the lower karmas of the people around them. Thus, if they decide to rise above it, they can truly begin to live the teaching of Jesus: “to be in this world, but not of this world.” In order to ultimately achieve this, they temporarily withdraw from society during the first half of life until they learn to relate impartially to the energy of the world that they feel outside themselves. In the end, they reach a point where they no longer feel the action of this energy within themselves.

Retrograde Pluto in Leo

This configuration speaks of the overthrow of authority for the purpose of transformation. On a global scale, the generation with Pluto in Leo entered a world weakened by emotional dependence, deceived by substitute materialism, and clinging to past values that no longer served a useful purpose. In this light, the new generation was not scattered by a war-torn world, but was raised in the consciousness of a period of rebuilding. The emphasis then fell on the individual’s ability to develop strength within themselves, so that the person, as part of the generation, could overcome oppression. Thus, the native with Pluto in Leo questions the validity of the “establishment.” They realize that some idea or organization that appears to give strength to a mass of weak people may be an illusion, and that the entire structure created around it may well be based on false values.

Because of Leo’s desire to live in a world they can be proud of, they are quite ready to tear apart everything built before them on foundations they consider meaningless. The retrograde nature of the planet causes the native to view this worldwide shift in values as a personal crusade in which they must play some significant role. On a personal level, they explore their identity by analyzing what they themselves are doing to make their world more meaningful. Thus, they spend a great deal of time in Phase One of the retrograde process, trying to project a sense of confident strength, built on honest foundations, onto a world that so deeply needs it.

On the karmic level, the native feels obligated to overcome everything that has always made humanity weak. Thus, the purpose of their entire life is first to develop power over themselves, and then over the false structures in society that deserve a more creative and honorable foundation.

Retrograde Pluto in the Eighth House

This is undoubtedly the deepest placement in the entire Zodiac. Pluto not only rules the Eighth House, but the introspective qualities of its retrograde nature are also in complete harmony with this House placement. Here the native constantly explores other people’s values. They seek to understand the deepest mysteries. Sexuality represents the most incomprehensible question of all for them. Very little in life passes by without them clinically examining it. They have a very strong sexual nature.

Their drive, however, is not only physical, but also mental and cosmically oriented. Whether they express it physically or transform it into mental realms, this drive takes hold of everything they seek to understand in the universe. Usually expressed during Phase One of the retrograde process, this placement actively creates constant destruction in old traditional habit patterns, so that the native may eventually experience rebirth within themselves on the very deepest levels.

They are so connected with other people’s values that, whether they like it or not, they come under the strong influence of mass consciousness. They bring into this life a legacy of Plutonian power of change, and the more dissatisfied they become with the world around them, the more they begin to understand the mysteries within themselves.

LUNAR NODES

LUNAR NODES Lunar Nodes symbolize the axis of development. The South Node indicates the experience a person has accumulated in past lives, while the North Node shows the experience the person needs to acquire in the current life.

North Node in Aquarius, South Node in Leo

A person with the South Node in Leo knows their own worth and knows how to demonstrate their strengths and talents to the public. Meanwhile, in the current incarnation, they need to avoid this kind of egocentric behavior. The North Node in Aquarius indicates that the native needs to focus on the people around them, helping them understand and accept themselves and reveal their creative potential.

The person’s mission does not lie in separating themselves and their individuality from others, but in uniting with friends and like-minded people for the sake of common, humane goals.

The native may choose an activity connected with people and society: work as a psychologist, sociologist, journalist, writer, and so on. The person may show interest in unusual, rare professions, such as inventor, astrologer, space researcher, test pilot, and the like.

North Node in the Second House - South Node in the Eighth House

With this placement of the Nodes, the person needs to be attentive when it comes to money, personal property, and financial investments. Mistakes made in life will affect the native’s material situation. And conversely, the more good deeds the person does, the more prosperous their life will be.

A person with the South Node in the Eighth House should not rely on the resources of partners and others. They need to develop their talents and abilities, build their skills, and work hard. This will allow them to gain material independence and avoid the temptation of money.

SELENA

Selena In addition to the North Node, the path of karmic advancement and the application of innate talents is shown by the White Moon, also called Selena or Lulu. This is a fictitious point that reflects the light karma accumulated by the native in a past life, or by their ancestors over several generations. The place where the guardian angel’s sign is located shows the area in which the native has accumulated the greatest number of good deeds. This is where the starry road to success and prosperity now shines, provided the higher qualities of the sign where the White Moon is located are developed and expressed.

Selena in Pisces indicates a mature soul completing the cycle of reincarnations, but the pull of criminal temptations, through which it is easy to fall downward, will also be strong. Crystal purity of thoughts, faith, and willpower will be required in order to resist the dark forces.

For this reason, from childhood the guardian angel awakens compassion and mercy in the soul of the person with the White Moon in Pisces, sometimes deliberately attracting painful situations and difficult circumstances. In this incarnation, the Higher Powers will keep evil people, alcohol and drugs, and fanatics away from them, but there is a danger of misinterpreting good intentions, which may lead into the underworld. It is necessary to constantly listen to the inner voice so as not to mistake evil in white robes for the light of truth.

Selena in the 3rd House

The White Moon in the Third House is one of the best placements, because it grants success and protection in several areas of life at once: school years, working with information, relationships with relatives and neighbors, as well as business trips, travel, and driving. Men and women with Selena in the Third House seem to be connected to the Universal information database; the knowledge they need comes from everywhere, even from random phrases and headlines of online articles. The main thing is to learn to resonate with the high-frequency energy of the horoscope’s guardian angel.

School for children with Selena in the Third House is a source of joyful and bright emotions. With a harmonious position of the angel point, this gives successful studies, a supportive environment, and support for their abilities; even with a negative aspect, there will be a protector among classmates who will ward off trouble.

LILITH

Lilith Lilith is considered a demon-temptress, but it is often not understood that at the highest level of consciousness development, she ceases to be a source of danger and, on the contrary, strengthens a person’s talents according to the sign and house in which she is placed.

For this reason, it is very important to bring one’s Lilith out of darkness and into the light. Then the courage for new exploration can manifest on a positive, creative level. This is a fictitious point in the horoscope, not a planet, but its power is often underestimated, while working through it is often considered impossible. However, the right actions and symbolism can work wonders.

Lilith shows the bottom, the darkest side of the person: the dark pit into which the native may fall if they give in to the temptation of lower vibrations and follow the path marked by Lilith. This should be kept in mind when reading a horoscope.

Lilith (Black Moon) in Virgo

Here sensuality is consciously and skillfully hidden, and to others it may seem calm or even unnoticeable. Still, it is not protected from inner contradictions and struggle, nor from conflict situations arising on romantic or sexual grounds. Often this placement manifests either as a tendency toward self-restraint and puritanism, or, conversely, as sexual perversion concealed beneath outward coldness. Here the person should give up formalism, bureaucracy, careerism, servility, flattery, and slavish submission, as well as using their position for selfish purposes and coercing anyone into sexual relations. It is considered together with the positions of Mercury, Neptune, Venus, retrograde Jupiter, Chiron, and the Sixth House of the horoscope.

Lilith in the 8th House

Lilith in the Eighth House intensifies animal instincts — passion, sensuality, sexuality, attraction to the opposite sex, and gluttony. Sybaritism and prostitution are possible here. Lilith in this House activates issues connected with life and death, the “afterlife,” and awakens the instinct of destruction and self-destruction, or even the instinct to kill. A tendency toward suicide is also possible. The power of Lilith in this House is boundless, since she is located in her own House of the horoscope.

Against the background of heightened, often suppressed sexual potential, tyranny, despotism, sadism, and looting may flourish in full force. This position was found among the world’s greatest executioners and many murderers. Now the person will have to renounce the negative character traits that manifested through an increased need for sex, because ultimately this may lead to hospitalization, prison, premature violent death through their own fault, or suicide.

PART OF FORTUNE

PART OF FORTUNE

The Part of Fortune represents the path on which a person can achieve the greatest joy and fulfillment. It then becomes obvious that the Part of Fortune has much to do with how well a person meets and overcomes their negative karma, while at the same time creating and accepting the rewards of their positive karma.

The Part of Fortune, like the planet Jupiter, promises abundance. However, it encompasses a significantly larger part of a person’s existence than any specific planet. The Part of Fortune attunes the individual to the environment in which prosperity will be most natural for them, and determines for each person what their unique and special concept of success will be. It also shows the person’s strongest need, defining the keynote to which their entire being resonates.

Part of Fortune in Sagittarius

Here, in order to achieve success, the Part of Fortune requires from those under its influence energy, independence, and self-reliance. Trips to distant countries and contacts with foreigners may be successful, as may scientific and educational expeditions. Missionary strength and a close connection with representatives of the church and spiritual teachers are necessary. Nobility, generosity, goodwill, honesty, decency, and fairness form the foundation of life success. A will or inheritance is possible, as is income from public, religious, or missionary activity, public service, or church service.

Activity devoted to science, research work, pedagogy, philology, and jurisprudence may be successful. Success is also possible in medicine, especially as a veterinarian or surgeon. Dog breeding, horse breeding, fur farming, or fisheries bring good income. Public service or political activity is especially favorable. The person can also find themselves in the sports arena or as a publisher.

If afflicted, there is a tendency toward exaggeration and a desire to create only a favorable opinion of oneself. The person’s own tongue becomes their enemy, along with hasty, ill-considered decisions and rash actions.

Historical figures with the Part of Fortune in Sagittarius: George V, Crown Prince Rudolf, Cecil Rhodes, John Ned Backry, George Sand, Charles Baudelaire.

Part of Fortune in the Twelfth House

The Part of Fortune in the Twelfth House foretells secret help and patronage from friends, sponsors, patrons, state officials, secret groups, or secret service. The individual themselves may also possess secret power of an undefined nature or guide those around them from behind the scenes while remaining invisible.

Income may be connected with jurisprudence, court cases, service in closed-type institutions or secret organizations, and secret activities may bring profit. Unknown patrons and anonymous donations are possible. The person may be connected with places of confinement, prisons, concentration camps, colonies, medical institutions such as hospitals, sanatoriums, boarding houses, rest homes, or monasteries. Maritime professions may be profitable. Secret income may come from occult pursuits, healing, or psychotherapy.

VERTEX

VertexIn the western hemisphere of every natal chart, a very important point can be found: the Vertex. It is compared to a handle on the gates of fate, which must be turned so that the doors open and allow the native into a new dimension. This is not just a point, but the peak of a sensitive axis in the horoscope, along which the electric current of karma flows. The Vertex is also called the electric Ascendant. It is activated unexpectedly during truly emotional periods of life.

The sign where this turning point of fate is located is at once an arena of passions, the scenery of the circumstances offered by life, and a clue to what exactly the native should develop within themselves. The aspects of the Vertex show talents and skills that are already present from the beginning, helping the native correspond to the scenario proposed by fate. These are magical tools that help the person pass through trials with honor and gain positive new experience in the houses where the Vertex is placed. More...

All the links below lead to charts calculated using the data from the natal chart form.

Additional understanding of the chart can be gained through:

  1. Fixed Stars in the natal chart. Some planets in the natal chart may behave in very unusual ways, and the cause may be the influence of a star hidden behind the planet or house cusp.

The next step is predictive astrology:

  1. Transit Calculation. This method makes it possible to calculate the transits of moving planets and overlay them on the natal chart.
