Adam Levine

Levine began his music career in 1994 when he co-founded the alternative rock band Kara’s Flowers, in which he was the lead vocalist and guitarist. The group disbanded after their only album, The Fourth World (released in 1997), failed to take off. In 2001, the group reformed—with the addition of guitarist James Valentine—and began a new musical chapter by changing its name to Maroon 5. In 2002, the group released its first album, Songs About Jane, which went on to become a multi-selling album. Since then, they have released four more albums: It Won’t Be Soon Before Long (2007), Hands All Over (2010), Overexposed (2012) and V (2014). As a member of Maroon 5, Levine received three Grammy Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, two American Music Awards, an MTV Video Music Award and a World Music Award.
In November 2013, he was recognized as the sexiest man on the planet by People magazine. On February 10, 2017, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Link to biography.

Adam Levine - Natal Chart Interpretation

Horoscope interpretation comes down to combining the meanings of the four basic elements of astrology — Planets, Signs, Aspects, and Houses — into a single whole, which is what makes each interpretation individual. More...

SUN

Strength: 40.46
Harmony: 24.39

SunThe SUN is the most important luminary, the center of life force. It can be compared to the king on a chessboard. It determines the health and well-being of the person born. It gives a creative impulse and ideals, including the desire for power, influence, and strength. The position of the main luminary in the natal chart has fateful significance. For example, the happiest people on Earth are those who do not have pronounced tense aspects to the Sun. At the same time, one might think that their character traits may be somewhat “soft,” because through the Sun a person develops the ego and strengthens the inner backbone of life. It is important to remember that the Sun represents the inner mind, not instinct. More...

Q Sun in Pisces c 27°

Pisces are vivid representatives of the Water element. They are born dreamers and quite romantic by nature. The description of Pisces shows that there is almost no rationality in them, but their constant building of castles in the air and painfully humanitarian aspirations are visible to the naked eye. They know all the weaknesses of their own nature very well and can easily joke about them. But allowing others to make fun of them is something they will never do.

Q Sun in the 8th House

EIGHTH HOUSE (House of life and death, rebirth, and inheritance). SUN (planet of vital energy and individuality) in the Eighth House: the native has a philosophical mind and keen insight, and they strive for self-improvement. They may inherit money or receive it through a marriage partner. They have a chance to gain fame late in life or after death. Strength: they take responsibility with pride. Weakness: they may lose a father or husband early.

Sun Aspects

Just as all the planets in the solar system revolve around the Sun, a person receives their life purpose from the Sun in the natal chart. The Sun is the ego, the “inner child” that makes the final decisions. It guides the person and can be considered the “boss” of the natal chart, especially in the charts of men. Read more

ASCENDANT

Strength: 49.18
Harmony: -22.25

In the birth chart, the Ascendant is the cusp of the First House. It is the second most important factor after the position of the Sun. The position of the Ascendant in the signs of the Zodiac determines how a person manifests outwardly. The position of a planet on the Ascendant significantly strengthens the expression of that planet’s qualities in the person. In general, the position of planets on or near the Ascendant is the third most important factor. The symbol used in the table is (ASC).

The Ascendant speaks of the mask a person wears in public; it is the first impression they make when meeting people. Often, when the person is puzzled by how others describe them, it is because others are describing this aspect of their personality. The Ascendant is present in the person’s appearance and individuality, sometimes extending as far as influencing physical characteristics. The sign becomes noticeably expressed in their image, style, and manner of carrying themselves. It is also reflected in the way they act. Some astrologers believe that the sign becomes weaker after a person reaches the age of 30, as their confidence in who they are grows. The rising sign manifests in the first personal traits inherent in the person and in the way they react to their environment.

ASCENDANT in Leo g 25° - Ruler Sun

The Sun, the ruler of the sign Leo, gives typical representatives of the sign nobility, generosity, pride, a protective attitude toward others, and a desire to show themselves and shine in society. A typical Leo cannot live without attention. In negative development, people of this sign become unbearable in their need to always be at the center of things, while excessive “royalty” degenerates into permissiveness: “I am the king, so I can do anything.”

People born with Leo Rising are usually generous, proud, emotional, romantic, vain, self-loving, courageous, sentimental, self-confident, impressive, extroverted, and eager to shine and be successful in everything. They like to “rule,” which follows from their “royal” nature. They love taking risks, sometimes even recklessly, but they definitely have a taste for life. The worst thing anyone can do to them is wound their pride or treat them disrespectfully. They are restrained in matters of love and need a partner they can be proud of, while also wanting to be admired in return. They are a loyal defender of those they love. They can be hot-tempered, but they do not tend to stay angry for long. They like playing the role of king and constantly feeling heightened energy around them.

They enjoy being at the center of attention and will seek it in every possible way. They can be stubborn in their own way, although not as frightening as people sometimes claim. If their pride or dignity is wounded, then beware: they may forgive, but they will never forget. They love sports and outdoor activity, and their vitality and spirit are strong enough. Since their need for love and affection is very great, they need to feel needed. If they become disappointed, they lose interest and the desire to live.

The main lesson to learn: learn humility.

The Sun rules Leo, so when interpreting the natal chart, special attention should be given to the Sun. Read more...

MIDHEAVEN (MC)

Strength: 63.26
Harmony: -34.56

МС

The Midheaven (Meridian, MC) is the culminating point of the natal chart. It symbolizes the noon of life and coincides with the cusp of the Tenth House of the horoscope. The Meridian line, MC - IC, is the vertical axis of the horoscope, while the Ascendant - Descendant line (AC - DC) is the horizontal axis. Together, they form the so-called “axial cross,” or “cross of fate.” In terms of importance, the Midheaven ranks third in the horoscope after the Ascendant and the position of the Sun. The Midheaven, like the Tenth House of the horoscope as a whole, symbolizes everything connected with the person’s profession and social standing: success or lack of success in society, career, popularity, fame, titles, awards, or the absence of these. It shows the person as an individual within society, points to their professional skills, and indicates the possibility of rising up the social ladder.

Midheaven in Taurus s 21° - Ruler Venus

Ruler: Venus. The person realistically assesses their abilities, opportunities, and prospects. They take a practical view of their occupation, profession, and position, which in their opinion should first and foremost provide income. A person with this Midheaven placement strives for stability and steadily works to improve their material standard of living. The security and durability of their job, a calm and settled lifestyle, property, and, if possible, real estate are their main life priorities.

This person moves toward their goal with persistence and determination. Once they set a goal, they do not abandon it, but direct all their strength toward it, patiently overcoming every obstacle that appears along the way. They have enough endurance and patience to reach it sooner or later, unlike Aries, who sometimes lacks patience and leaves the race after completing the hardest part of the path simply because they cannot wait. Where Aries wins by storming ahead, Taurus wins through persistence and composure. The MC in Taurus almost always guarantees a certain degree of material success and stable financial income. MOON

Strength: 71.13
Harmony: -1.88

Moon The Moon is a transmitter of sensations, emotions, and moods. It rules the spheres of the soul and subconscious, innate reflexes, and habits that come from childhood. The Moon is the ruler of Cancer. Taurus is considered the sign of its exaltation. Capricorn is considered the sign of its fall, and Scorpio the sign of its detriment, or exile. If the Moon has strong essential dignity in the horoscope and forms harmonious interactions with other planets in the natal chart, the native feels inner harmony; even when difficulties arise in life, they overcome periods of trouble with ease. Mercury Its close proximity to the Sun defines the nature of this small yet charismatic planet. Its main functions are intellect, logical thinking, cognition, communication, and the individual’s connection with society.

The ability to establish connections is traditionally considered Mercury’s most specific “character” trait. Mars Mars is strength, assertiveness, aggressive sexuality, struggle, and rivalry. The planet’s most important functions are protection, the instinct of self-preservation, and self-expression. In the modern world, people rarely have to protect their lives or homes from mortal danger. What comes to the forefront instead is defending one’s own opinion, protecting personal interests in professional and social spheres, competing, and striving to win.

A strong Mars gives the world heroes capable of sacrificing themselves for other people or for higher ideals. In everyday reality, the person expresses themselves vividly through activity directed toward the common good. More...

JUPITER

Strength: 35.59
Harmony: 29.16

Jupiter In the astrological theater, Jupiter plays the role of the “Great Benefic.” Since antiquity, it has been associated with luck and material blessings. Yet the largest planet in the solar system has other purposes as well. It is responsible for spiritual and intellectual development and encourages a person to search for the meaning of life. From a psychological point of view, Jupiter embodies the generous, fair father. Its main enemies are stagnation and boredom. The giant rules the Ninth and Twelfth Houses.

The remarkable qualities of a strong Jupiterian person are often not their own achievement, but the result of fantastic luck. A winning lottery ticket or an unexpected inheritance are typical gifts from generous Jupiter. More...

It rules the Tenth astrological House and is responsible for career, social status, and reputation.

URANUS

Strength: 57.14
Harmony: -13.73

Uranus Uranus is a symbol of suddenness and surprise, originality and eccentricity, unforeseen actions and behavior, various shifts and changes, turning points and rearrangements of both a positive and negative nature. Under its influence, past and present values are reassessed, and the future is anticipated.

Uranus is the sign of higher reason and almost supernatural intuition. It gives rise to true geniuses, people who are ahead of their time and remain misunderstood by their own generation. Uranus represents a projected point of the unconscious, yet it brings highly symbolic images and impulses into a person’s consciousness, arising both while awake and in dreams. This distinctive power to form images gives birth to intuition and inspiration, a flash of creative force, as well as scientists and inventors, poets and performers, musicians and artists, statesmen and political figures, religious reformers and revolutionaries.

Driven by the desire to play by its own rules, Uranus embodies change, reform, evolution, and revolution. More...

NEPTUNE

Strength: 43.12

Neptune Neptune is full of mysteries. Its realm is feelings and impressions, dreams and reveries. The planet forms a refined perception of art, as well as an attraction to religion and mysticism. Neptune constantly acts on a person in an almost imperceptible, even mysterious way, creating forces that reject and refuse to acknowledge any psychic or spiritual limitations. These forces stir the feelings to their deepest depths and direct the mind toward the search for still-unknown and undiscovered mysteries of nature, the cosmos, and the human being. More...

PLUTO

Strength: 22.11
Harmony: 12.62

Pluto PLUTO is the main ruler of all collective mysteries, gatherings, rallies, demonstrations, and similar mass events. Together with Uranus, it destroys old, rotten, outdated political world systems, creating new ones separately for each nation and state.

On the one hand, Pluto shows a person as an integral being; on the other, as a particle of the cosmos and of a given society. Pluto symbolizes the final stage of the individuation process, a second birth or rebirth, after which the person becomes more complete. In one case, it may bring the person under its influence brilliant success and career advancement, unexpected wealth or worldwide fame, influence over the masses, the crowd, the public, or an audience, and a social rise as rapid and dazzling as a meteor. In another case, it may bring total losses. More...

CHIRON

M Chiron in the 9th House

Above all, Chiron’s gifts are duality and adaptability in the areas of life indicated by the main principles of that House of the horoscope. This person can skillfully, artfully, and deftly combine opposites. Their cunning, craftiness, and ability to find a way out of any situation are boundless.

Chiron in the Ninth House gives its wards a powerful pull toward distant horizons, so trips, business travel, and journeys to foreign countries are common for them. There is a strong desire for higher education, science, and research work, as well as a drive to expand their spiritual horizons and intellectual abilities. These people are drawn to cultural and spiritual values, traditions, religious rituals, ceremonies, and other aspects of the life of peoples and civilizations, both ancient and modern. They often become missionaries, preachers, professional travelers, or members of various expeditions, though they may also become wanderers, drifters, or inspired Don Quixotes. These people become pioneers and discoverers, filling in blank spaces on geographical maps, in the sciences, in the world of art, in new forms of government, or in new political movements. They have their own view and their own opinion on everything, so it is quite difficult, almost impossible, to persuade them otherwise. It is equally useless to try to knock them off their chosen path. Throughout life, these people search for something new and still unexplored, and they are attracted to everything progressive.

NATAL CHART HOUSES

HOROSCOPE HOUSES

The Houses provide information about how, where, and to what extent a person's characteristic traits will manifest, how their potential will be revealed, and how all of this will be realized in everyday life. Each House represents a specific sphere of human life. The Houses reflect a person's life in society, the kind of person life compels them to become, and show acquired skills, habits, methods, and goals that life sets before the person, as well as the ways through which they will move toward their goal.

1st HOUSE - g 25°

Strength: 92.19
Harmony: -21.24

1st House in Leo - Ruler of Sun

The First House is angular, which means it possesses qualities such as activity, initiative, and dynamism. It is the first of the Houses of life, and in this capacity, it represents the physical aspect of the personality — the body.

The First House in Leo requires the native to balance the contradiction between the desire to lead by demonstrating the strength of their personality and a tendency toward idle, lazy pastimes. It is impossible not to notice a person with the Ascendant in Leo. Generously endowed with charisma and fiery energy, they attract attention with a regal appearance and manner, presenting themselves as someone truly special so skillfully that those around them immediately believe it.

The Sun rules Leo, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the First House (Ascendant).

2nd HOUSE - h 19°

Strength: 37.36
Harmony: 6.27

2nd House in Virgo - Ruler of Mercury

The Second House is the place of a person’s financial power. It shows the source of stable income from which the native can move toward the wealth of the Eighth sector, as well as find connections with their life purpose through the Tenth House, creating prosperity, well-being, and the happiness of public recognition. It is important to understand the ways of interacting with money, the nature of spending, and one’s own behavior in financial matters.

Prudent Virgo on the cusp of the Second House rarely leaves the native without a penny to their name, but they are not especially eager to chase mountains of gold either. The exception is a strongly emphasized Leo or Capricorn in the natal chart, especially if connected by aspects to the Second sector.

Mercury rules Virgo, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Second House.

3rd HOUSE - j 18°

Strength: 76.33
Harmony: -12.14

3rd House in Libra - Ruler of Venus

The Third House is defined as the House of communication, the sphere in which a person feels the need to express their ideas, whether orally or in writing. As the House that signifies family ties, it primarily includes a person’s brothers and sisters, if they have any, and describes the nature of their relationship with them. In addition, it also points to relationships with other people in the immediate environment, such as neighbors, for example. But this is not all — it also indicates nearby, short-distance travel in the local area: by car, bus, train, or bicycle. The Third House belongs to the cadent Houses and indicates the ability of the native’s mind (Mercury) to learn, perceive different ideas, and adapt to various teachings; in practical terms, this means schooling and primary education.

The cusp of the Third sector in Libra means that Venus is the ruler of this House. The idea of universal justice, the desire to calm anger with a kind word, and the wish to bring clarity to issues that do not even directly concern the native are characteristic of a person with the Third House in Libra.

Venus rules Libra, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Third House.

4th HOUSE - k 21°

Strength: 129.40
Harmony: 12.02

4th House in Scorpio - Ruler of Pluto and Mars

The Fourth House is connected with a person’s private life and the way they would like to arrange their home. This is also where the roots of their origin should be sought. It is the House of motherhood and childcare. It also describes property, housing, real estate, and similar matters. The Fourth House also points to the final years of life and the end of a person’s physical existence. From this perspective, the Eighth House is considered the House of spiritual transformation and liberation, while the Twelfth House is the House in which a person’s restless thoughts and agitated rational mind must be calmed.

With the Fourth House in Scorpio, depending on the level of lived experience and inner work, a person either turns back into who they were in childhood or rises to the higher level of the sign on the cusp.

The senior ruler Pluto and the junior ruler Mars rule Scorpio, so both Mars and Pluto will play an important role when analyzing the Fourth House.

5th HOUSE - l 24°

Strength: 17.80
Harmony: 14.58

5th House in Sagittarius - Ruler of Jupiter and Neptune

The Fifth House is a House of life that carries the fiery energy of inspiration and the power of motivation. The warmth of this fire extends to others as well. For this reason, this House is considered the House of love that a person gives to others. The love given in connection with this House is not the affection associated with Venus in astrology, nor the sexual instincts related to Mars, but love that comes from the heart — the very quality that is the main characteristic of Leo.

Sagittarius in the Fifth House, as the most balanced representative of the Fire element, fills the native with optimism, a cheerful nature, and ease in communication with children and the opposite sex.

The senior ruler Jupiter and the junior ruler Neptune rule Sagittarius, so their influence should be taken into account when analyzing the Fifth House.

6th HOUSE - z 26°

Strength: 49.78
Harmony: -2.40

6th House in Capricorn - Ruler of Saturn and Uranus

The Sixth House is traditionally associated with work, health, and service. This House is still focused on the individual, on the “me.” It expresses a person’s attitude toward employment: whether they will do the work voluntarily or whether it will feel like a heavy burden. The Sixth House also indicates a person’s habits, established routine, occupation, general nutrition and, in particular, diet, as well as pets.

The Sixth House in Capricorn gives a serious and practical attitude toward work, the physical body, obligations to other people, and one’s own pets. An inner prohibition against using creative energy leads to stagnation in a small office and suffering caused by suppressed ambitious plans.

The senior ruler Saturn and the junior ruler Uranus rule Capricorn, so their influence should be taken into account when analyzing the Sixth House.

7th HOUSE - x 25°

Strength: 58.47
Harmony: -22.50

7th House in Aquarius - Ruler of Uranus and Saturn

When describing the properties of the Seventh House as an angular House, it is customary to say that it manifests openly and through the public sphere. Traditionally, it is considered the House of relationships in all areas of life: love, friendship, cooperation, and even enmity. It shows what a person expects from contact with other people and how they express themselves in any union. The Seventh House teaches development through the close social circle, the ability to accept the successes of others, and the ability to learn missing qualities from enemies. The likelihood of marriage and divorce, as well as the personality of the spouse, can also be read through the planets and sign.

The Seventh House in Aquarius intensifies the need for freedom to such an extent that even after joining their loved one in marriage, the native will constantly be away from home, and without the opportunity to be alone, they will feel suffocated. The reason for this is a long-standing fear of losing independence, which needs to be worked through so they do not end up lonely closer to old age.

The senior ruler Uranus and the junior ruler Saturn rule Aquarius, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the Seventh House.

8th HOUSE - c 19°

Strength: 90.63
Harmony: 22.68

8th House in Pisces - Ruler of Neptune and Jupiter

The key words for the Eighth House are usually considered to be “sex,” “death,” “big money,” and “personal transformation.” It is clear that sex can appear in several forms: as pure passion, as a force aimed at producing offspring, or as an expression of a deep feeling of love. Death also has several meanings and is not reduced only to the death of a specific human being. It can serve as a symbol of a certain idea, thought, undertaking, or even illness that disappears as a result of transformation.

The Eighth House in Pisces is an indicator of worked-through karma, when a person has learned to respond to sudden changes, illness, and the possession of wealth from the perspective of all zodiac signs. Thanks to this, the native’s greatest treasure is deep intuition, which helps them sense danger everywhere except in matters connected with water, illusions, alcohol, and psychotropic substances. Acutely experiencing injustice and understanding how everything works through many previous lives, the native seeks to escape reality into a world of dreams, which can lead to poisoning and addictions.

The senior ruler Neptune and the junior ruler Jupiter rule Pisces, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the Eighth House.

The Ninth House gives life higher meaning, expands the worldview, and encourages the search for keys to knowledge. This is a place of good fortune, considering that its symbolic ruler is Jupiter, the planet of great happiness, as well as connections with a new world. This manifests through higher education, travel to other countries, business contacts with foreigners, the spouse’s relatives, and esoteric knowledge. All of this expands the boundaries of consciousness and opens new paths of development.

The Ninth House in Aries makes the native a fiery seeker of truth, although they enjoy judging and exposing shortcomings more than finding ways to correct them. This is an idealist and a dramatic performer who despises simplicity and routine. If there is little of interest in life, they will direct an impressive film about themselves, regardless of social stereotypes.

The senior ruler Mars and the junior ruler Pluto rule Aries, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the Ninth House.

10th House in Taurus - Ruler of Venus

The Tenth House occupies the highest position in the horoscope, emphasizing the culminating nature of the corresponding area and pointing to the highest goal the person should strive to achieve. Therefore, the Tenth House indicates a possible profession, social position and reputation, as well as, in a broader sense, the true needs of the self. The key words for the Tenth House are social realization, recognition, success, fame, and renown.

A person with the Tenth House in Taurus confirms their high opinion of themselves by creating material comfort: designer clothing, a car, and an apartment in a prestigious neighborhood inspire them to work tirelessly. It is a blessing when the native’s talent coincides with the potential profit that can come from developing it, because the ruler of the Tenth House, Venus, generously endows them with a desire for art. However, the native will never become a poor artist: their desire to attain a high position in society is too strong.

Venus rules Taurus, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Tenth House.

11th House in Gemini - Ruler of Mercury

The Eleventh House of joy and favorable opportunities, friends, and social activity shows where unexpected luck comes from and how a person can make a profit during a rapidly developing career. However, its main meaning is friendship and participation in collective projects, where the individual shows themselves either as a leader or as an obedient cog in the machine, depending on the nature of the sign on the cusp.

The Eleventh House in Gemini attracts intellectual friends and many sources of information to the gifted native; at a lower level, it attracts gossipers, whom they skillfully manipulate.

Mercury rules Gemini, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Eleventh House.

12th House in Cancer - Ruler of Moon

The Twelfth House is the last in the Zodiac. Pisces is the symbolic sign, and Neptune is the symbolic ruler of the Twelfth House. Since Neptune is the planet of delusion and enlightenment, spiritual impulse and the desire to overcome the inertia of the physical world, it can be assumed that the Twelfth House is connected with a certain mystery. Pisces is sensitive and intuitive, inclined toward compassion and self-sacrifice — all of this largely defines the nature of the Twelfth House.

In a psychological sense, this is the native’s subconscious, inner world, largely hidden even from themselves, where all the joys and sorrows experienced since birth are immersed. Whether the native wants to look into their inner self and work with it depends entirely on them and on the decision they make. Some people expect the horoscope to make life easier, while others would like to use it in order to seriously understand themselves. The choice here depends on whether the person wants to consciously explore their inner world or is content for it to remain unknown. It is the Twelfth House that gives the opportunity to find one’s true self, gain faith, and receive inspiration.

The Twelfth House in Cancer makes the native overly sensitive, sometimes so much so that they shut away their empathic gift because feeling injustice and betrayal is too painful. If the Moon, the ruler of Cancer, is afflicted, the horoscope holder may spend their entire life in emotional confinement, feeling lonely even in moments of intimate closeness.

The Moon rules Cancer, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Twelfth House.

KARMIC INDICATORS

KARMA

Karmic indicators help a person become aware of deep-rooted problems that go back to past lives, and begin working on themselves in order to overcome them and improve both this life and, potentially, the next one. Karmic problems should not be understood as punishment for misdeeds and sins, as karma is usually interpreted in the everyday sense. Karma is not retribution, but rather inertia, when a person attracts similar situations from one life to another. From a karmic point of view, every element of the natal chart can be interpreted without exception. However, the most important indicators of karma in the horoscope are retrograde planets, if any, and the Lunar Nodes.

Retrograde Planets

Retrograde planets are always connected with turning back to the past. The more retrograde planets a person has in the horoscope, the stronger their connection with the past. A retrograde planet also points to an unresolved task from a past life, unfinished business, or unrealized abilities. It forces the person to take up again what could not be completed in the past. The symbol used in the table is R.

Retrograde Mercury — Individuality

When Mercury is retrograde in the horoscope, the individual’s conscious mind is able to intercept ideas from the universal consciousness of earlier times. Usually, they are not aware of this, but they are aware that they cannot easily make others understand everything they know. This is partly connected with the inversion of the Mercury symbol, in which the significance of Matter exceeds the significance of Spirit and Soul. This makes the individual concerned with the form of their ideas. And this acts as a barrier to the essence of their knowledge.

In addition, the wavelength of their mind differs slightly from what is accepted in society. Thought processes tend to repeat themselves like an endless recording, and as a result, most of the things they create are, in one form or another, copies of what they have already done. When they speak, it is difficult for them to project the exact telepathic pictures that convey the meanings of their thoughts. Thus, they often feel misunderstood and wonder why others do not always see things the same way they do.

They see themselves as more separate from society than a person with Mercury in direct motion may be. As a result, they desperately try to develop contacts with other people, overemphasizing their ideas until they begin to irritate those around them. Feeling constrained in company, they make great efforts to win the favor of others. Nevertheless, at the slightest hint of rejection, they may give up too easily. Ultimately, they learn that in order to have self-confidence, they must become more detached and impartial than people with Mercury in direct motion. This is often interpreted by others as “coldness,” but it is simply the vibration of retrograde Mercury, which is so obviously disharmonious with the vibrations of direct motion. Behind the apparent wall, this individual is far more sensitive than most people can imagine.

Once the communication barrier has been crossed, tremendous understanding and intuition emanate from retrograde Mercury. The retrograde individual does not fit into the ideas and opinions of the people around them. Instead, they can find peace in gratitude for their unique way of seeing things.

It is interesting to note that many people with musical talent have retrograde Mercury. Perhaps awareness of difficulties with spoken language led them to another form of communication, one that has much greater freedom and many levels of subtle mental and emotional expression.

Retrograde Mercury — Karma

A person with retrograde Mercury must experience unresolved relationship karma. They react to others as if those people symbolize figures from their past. Thus, it is difficult for them to keep the focus of their consciousness on the “here and now.” Usually, this manifests as difficulties with family and relatives. But the issue of relationships extends beyond communication with other people and includes the perception of the universe as a whole. There is often a problem characteristic of retrograde Mercury in terms of seeing what may be called an inverted reality. The individual has difficulty understanding the basic relationship between cause and effect. They explore the essence of life itself, yet often cannot see the simple connections between things, circumstances, and people. Lost in thoughts that lie beyond their understanding, they must learn to be content with the simple things on which life is based. They are so absorbed in uncovering what is beyond their understanding that they almost always miss the obvious.

From a karmic point of view, this individual must learn to focus attention on the reality of the present rather than lose themselves in all the apparent layers they perceive. When they are able to do this, they will be able to establish a solid point of reference in the “here and now,” through which all the discoveries they make can be expressed to the outer world.

Retrograde Mercury in Aries

Here, the individual feels most comfortable during Phase I of the retrograde process, when their thirst for understanding carries them forward through the cardinal, Martian qualities of Aries, so that they once again experience the primitive part of their mental development from previous incarnations. All thought and sensory patterns reflect their almost childlike desire to prove their mental competence.

Lacking patience, they often suffer from shortsightedness because of impulsive thinking. This throws them out of temporal alignment with most of the people they speak with. Nevertheless, this individual is a strong debater and enjoys the challenge of mental stimulation. This allows them to prove that they are worthy, even if the reasons they consider themselves inadequate do not come from this life. Constantly wanting to know whether they are good enough in the eyes of others, they rush forward to prove that they can meet the challenges of their past. In doing so, the people whose understanding they originally desired are already out of the frame.

Retrograde Mercury is least harmonious with the sign of Aries during Phase III, when the individual goes back in their consciousness in order to reexperience what has already been lived through. For this reason, the individual hates repeating themselves and actively complains about the need to live in a world that loses intellectual stimulation by constantly reviewing what has already been completed.

Retrograde Mercury in the Eighth House

Here, Mercury is strongly stimulated by Plutonian upheavals that bring certain chapters in the individual’s life to a close. They spend a great deal of time in Phase III of the retrograde process, constantly reevaluating the ways in which they have been reborn to higher levels of consciousness. With this position, the individual is an unusually deep thinker, and their thought processes go straight to the core of the essential meaning of human life.

They may often experience sexual problems, because the depth of their thinking constantly makes them examine the value of all physical expression. They never accept answers to their questions on a superficial level, but instead seek to know the fundamental cause of everything that exists. They usually turn away from close relationships with others. And even when they become involved in them, they keep many thoughts to themselves, silently observing the meaning of everything around them.

They bring a legacy of searching into this life, constantly tracing the deepest meanings of everything they perceive. Sometimes they think they are alienated from society, and if their soul is not very developed, they can easily become a product of destructive thoughts. If such thoughts do arise, they may exaggerate them, absorbing similar thoughts from the universal consciousness during Phase III of the retrograde process.

They must learn to transform their vision of the past, including their view of their heritage and origins, into more appropriate forms that combine with constructive actions in the present. Karmically, they regenerate human thinking. They need to learn to listen carefully to the advice they give others, since ultimately it is guidance for themselves as well.

Retrograde Jupiter - Individuality

A native with retrograde Jupiter is a living truth unto themselves. Their ideas about right and wrong, about the morality of the world through which they travel, and about the honesty of other people’s opinions have little influence on what they feel within. In an attempt to be fair, this native develops their own unique set of standards. Usually, these standards are based on personal experiences from the beginning of this life, as well as on experiences from other incarnations, and they reflect not mass consciousness, but rather the native’s personally formed concept of the universe.

The native has a keen feel for different places and for how similar they are to one another. At the same time, they are aware of the different levels at which people think. Always studying the mind, they seek to experience an inner richness that they hope will ultimately equal the opportunities available to them in the outer world. This often creates dissatisfaction, which manifests as inner restlessness. They prefer to deal with things by grasping the essence of an idea and its significance, rather than the details required to bring that idea into reality.

If Jupiter is well-aspected, the native may have strong self-motivation, but they should be careful not to try to do too many things at once.

Essentially, they are free in spirit. And although they will adapt to the ideals of society when those ideals are useful to them, they constantly struggle to preserve their sense of individuality.

A native with this placement may possess great, almost prophetic wisdom. They can summarize the essence of long, complex, detailed projects in just a few words, while others might become lost in countless small details. The native can be conscientious. Their innate honesty with themselves is one of their most important defining traits. When retrograde Jupiter is poorly aspected, it may indicate ill will carried over from past incarnations. In such cases, a long-standing desire from the past to settle old scores is projected onto new people in the present. Fortunately, this is more the exception than the rule, since retrograde Jupiter gives the native an opportunity to see themselves through the higher mind, after which some of their personal attachments give way to a higher and more impartial understanding. The development of richness in the inner life ultimately takes precedence over the desire to acquire wealth in the outer world.

Retrograde Jupiter - Karma

The karma of retrograde Jupiter is always connected with introspection through the higher mind. The native must be able to justify themselves to themselves in order to feel truly worthy of the respect and honor that Jupiter promises.

In some past incarnation, the person placed great emphasis on the violation of a certain religious or spiritual principle. In the current life, they feel an even stronger determination to redefine the value of this principle in their own mind. They must be careful not to judge others when they see the outer world living by rules they cannot understand. They should be patient with other people if they expect others to listen to the expression of their inner truths.

On another level, the person has accumulated vast lived experience, which is characteristic of retrograde Jupiter. Times and places from the past all blend into a continuous present, so that at any given moment or in any given place, the native experiences that time or place in a generalized way, as though they were simultaneously present in all similar times and places they have ever known. Thus, their consciousness expands in both of these dimensions at once, often without limits. They do not know how to focus their mind on a clear point within themselves. Instead, they absorb the symbols of their thoughts from the surrounding environment, ultimately coming to realize that their home is everywhere, and that every time is the present!

The more these outer symbols correspond to the truth they came to know in a previous life, the more content they become.

Retrograde Jupiter in Cancer

Here the native feels most comfortable in Phase Three of the retrograde process, where they continue trying to reexpand the childlike qualities of the past. They possess a certain naivety and see themselves as simple-hearted. As a result, they experience many difficulties in adult life, because living in the present removes them from a period of time that may have represented greater freedom than their current reality. Their concept of truth has always been more emotional than mental, and as a result, they do not respond very well to reason. Instead, they try to develop their entire awareness from their emotions. This once again emphasizes their childlike qualities.

During adult life, there is a tendency to limit Jupiter’s expansive qualities within the framework of past experience. When the planet’s energy tries to expand, the native feels Cancer’s need to create a protective enclosure. Meanwhile, Jupiter’s retrograde motion pushes this entire conflict not only inward, but also back into the past. Thus, the person experiences both an emotional and a mental conflict at the same time. Their memories are often exaggerated, as they try to correct all the past situations in which they did not fully express themselves. And they tend to repeat their experiences, as though through repetition alone they could become more certain that the way they behaved in the past was right. All their past-life knowledge is now being tested in the higher mind, because they are required to experience it on an emotional level. Thus, they must learn to have devoted faith in their own truths and act according to them.

Retrograde Jupiter in the Twelfth House

Here the native spends a great deal of time in spiritual searching in order to reach their inner essence. They often make the mistake of thinking that other people can help them know themselves better than they already do. In truth, it is easy for them to recognize their inner self, but this may often seem so easy that they try to use the other planets in the chart, thinking they must find some great mystery beyond what they believe they are capable of understanding. The richness they attain throughout life is based on inner self-confidence, which, although not always connected with the outer world, gives them an unlimited understanding of their inner existence.

This is a very karmic placement for Jupiter, since the native will eventually learn to understand the truth of their past incarnations and, in this way, the purpose of their present life. They are sometimes too hard on themselves and must learn to evaluate themselves honestly through their higher mind if they want to be in harmony with their soul.

This placement makes life highly introspective, since much time is spent in Phase Three of the retrograde process. However, inner wisdom that comes from invisible spiritual guidance permeates the entire lifestyle once the person is ready to draw upon their inner wealth. Most of the time, they cannot find the words to express what they know. But they communicate very well on a telepathic level.

Retrograde Saturn - Individuality

A native with retrograde Saturn takes very seriously the completion of everything they left unfinished in the past. They tend to go back in order to fill any gaps in what they once too hastily considered complete. Essentially, they are thoughtful and balanced. At times, they may seem overly cautious or too frugal, but any restraint on their part is entirely based on their need to preserve substance for important use. They consider excessive spending or wastefulness harmful, because they experienced this in past lives. Now they deeply value everything they learn or receive. Often, they feel an inner duty to God, which manifests as a powerful sense of gratitude for everything they see around them.

They try to teach other people who are less knowledgeable or experienced than they are. However, this is unsuccessful if those people have not experienced the native’s “fall from grace” in a past life and the great struggle that has now earned them the way back. As a result, retrograde Saturn carries an “inborn” maturity that cannot be achieved without great personal struggle and sacrifice.

Retrograde Saturn - Karma

Retrograde Saturn always indicates ongoing karma from past incarnations. Whatever the lesson may be, the native is unusually slow in bringing it to completion. Therefore, in this life, they must carry an additional burden from a past life within their soul. When the two lives finally come together, their true mission should become clear to them. Much of what they do in this life is a repetition of what their Saturn already stands for. But now they are faced with circumstances and situations that are somewhat different. The retrograde action of the planet may make them feel a restraining force, especially if they try to escape the weight of its lesson. But if they follow it, understanding that its patient guidance is slowly leading them toward identification with something higher than they could have imagined, then through this planet they can come to appreciate the workings of a beautiful divine universe.

Saturn is the person’s teacher, and when it is retrograde, it means the native experienced similar training before this life. Over the course of life, retrograde Saturn provides a tremendous amount of wisdom.

For Saturn, the retrograde position is the most natural and comfortable one, because it gives the native something like a second chance to refine the relationship formed between their soul, the circumstances they encountered in a past incarnation, and the way those circumstances were understood. Now, under Saturn’s calm guidance, the person can give form to everything they learned in the past.

Retrograde Saturn in Virgo

This placement indicates a person who is trying to reach their past ideals. They constantly examine themselves in order to evaluate how worthy their life is of the one they believe they should be living. Although they may seem overly concerned with the details that form the structure of their life, ultimately it is through these very details that they can create a carefully ordered universe that makes sense to them. They view the world through separate parts and then try to fit these parts into what they have formed within themselves from the past. In this way, they inwardly absorb what they consider to be precise segments from the outer world, and then build their structured life from these segments.

They think that in order to know themselves, they must understand the workings of everything that touches their life. The main problem is that, because of Saturn’s retrograde nature, they unintentionally preprogram their perception of things so that those things can fit into their ready-made concepts. This makes them very inflexible and seems to reduce Virgo’s mutability. In their work, they can be unusually efficient, especially when they know that other people rely on them for order and effectiveness.

Karmically, this native is compelled to live in the idealized world they would like to see around them. When they understand how unrealistic some of their expectations are, they may become more comfortable in the existing world. Then the perfection that already exists becomes obvious to them. Because it is very important for them to observe the lives of other people, which is characteristic of this placement, the native passes through Phase Three of the retrograde process before actively expressing themselves in Phases One and Two.

Retrograde Saturn in the First House

Here Phase One of the retrograde process is emphasized, as the native tries to find an expressive and impressive structure of individuality to which the world around them will respond vibrationally. They try to imprint their reality outwardly, because they want feedback when they later experience the other two phases. Sometimes this structure of individuality is greatly lacking, and there is a strong tendency toward compensation. Usually, there are a number of barriers between the native and the people they would like to become close to.

The distrustful attitude that permeates the entire structure of individuality comes from a certain past-life situation in which they felt cut off from what they were trying to achieve. Now, instead of facing this, they try to appear important so that other people will recognize them and, perhaps, their pride will not be wounded. This native is very sensitive, even if they do not seem so outwardly. Karmically, they are learning to stand on their own two feet, and because this process is slow, they are very afraid that someone may try to knock them down before they have built their own foundation. They spend their whole life building a castle of rules, which will ultimately become the structure of individuality they want to achieve.

Retrograde Uranus - Individuality

A person with retrograde Uranus reveals a rather unique individuality.

At the deepest levels, they are a rebel against everything that binds them. If the person is timid, they may experience claustrophobia. If they are fearless, they will try to overturn everything they believe has outlived its usefulness. They cannot be satisfied with simply moving through life, because they see too many things that could enrich humanity if only society would shake off all its false anchors of security.

They become uneasy if other people respond to them too favorably, because then they feel they have lost a significant part of themselves. Therefore, from time to time, they will lose friends and acquaintances, sometimes jobs and romantic attachments, all because other people often find it too difficult to accept the unusual nature of their ideas. Yet years later, when society begins to defend everything they once stood for, they will no longer be interested in all the progressive theories or positions they promoted in their time. In this way, they are very much a herald of the future. Because of this, they may experience loneliness, but they would never give up their gift of originality for the company of other people. They know that, above all, their Soul must be free. Anything that obstructs this freedom, they will sweep out of their path.

For those who are able to understand them, they are a most fascinating conversationalist, because they are literally filled with all the ideas humanity needs for the future of the human race.

Retrograde Uranus - Karma

On a personal level, retrograde Uranus creates disorder in human relationships. The native experiences an inner changeability that often makes them hypocritical toward themselves. Their mental and emotional levels often struggle with each other, so they may know certain things that should lead them in the direction indicated by their knowledge, while at the same time feeling other things that may lead them in an entirely different direction.

They are living through the karma of learning how to express the inner freedom they bring into this life. And they must not be bound by attempts to explain the meaning of everything all the time, either to others or even to themselves. A free spirit does not always appear to make sense. The fact is that the logical extension of common sense in a person is more of a Saturnian trait, connected with the rigidity of order, discipline, and directing oneself toward specific goals. But the native with retrograde Uranus is not living through that kind of karma.

In order to explore their inner existence, as well as many other realms of understanding that humanity as a whole has not yet reached, they follow a long and winding path in search of the formulas that make the world work. Nevertheless, they know that their search is an endless process, because every new discovery leads to yet another question. They can be extremely happy as long as others do not try to force them into patterns of thought and behavior whose limits they have already crossed, because of the meaninglessness of the roles those patterns play in their perception of the greater design.

They learned how to be independent in previous incarnations, and now they must use that independence to rediscover and understand the reason they originally wanted it.

Retrograde Uranus in Scorpio

Here retrograde Uranus finds an excellent home, because it never stops bringing light into the greatest depths of the native’s search for understanding. They never take anything at face value, but continue digging in order to find the roots of everything that seems unresolved. They are brilliant when it comes to investigation. They have little patience, but they do not need to spend a long time on anything, because they possess the psychic ability to instantly recognize the essence of things. On a personal level, they experience many sexual changes in life. During one period, they seek every kind of excitement they have not yet experienced, while during another period they may turn to complete celibacy. In everything they do, they take extreme positions and never settle for the middle path in life. Their energy level is high and quite intense. When they know the truth, they will not allow other people to divert them from the independent course of action they have decided to take.

This Uranus placement can be very spiritual, especially during Phase Three of the retrograde process, during which the native can reach an awareness of the universe within themselves. They do not deceive themselves or live in illusions, but rather take great pride in seeing things as they really are.

They bring into this life a remarkable ability to understand many of the things whose existence the rest of society does not even know about. Karmically, they are living this life in order to play a very active role in shaping the world in which they live. They do not sit idly by and complain about everything they see as wrong around them; rather, they are one of the leaders in transforming human consciousness.

Retrograde Uranus in the Third House

This is a very inventive, yet highly rebellious placement for retrograde Uranus. The native absolutely insists on being unlike the society in which they live. Essentially, their ideas and principles continue to change along with their erratic patterns of behavior. The sum of everything they are largely represents what their traditional environment does not contain. They shift between the retrograde phases so often that it is difficult to see any real pattern in their lifestyle. Because of this, however, they are one of the most original thinkers in the Zodiac. Their inventiveness has no specific cause or fixed goal and is not constrained by the boundaries that limit others.

At the same time, this Uranus placement creates difficulties: the person cannot easily get along with others in work or personal relationships because of their insistent need to express their individuality, no matter the cost. Although they are a capable student, they tend to skip over certain things. As a result, their approach to understanding is more erratic than thorough. In later years, the native will undoubtedly return to much of what they once rushed past too quickly.

Karmically, this placement adds a touch of genius and/or madness to the rest of the horoscope. The native spends their entire life learning how to learn, and although their sources may consist of fragments of knowledge from different people, phrases from many books whose full text they lacked the patience to read, and drops of various experiences, their life possesses tremendous richness in terms of the breadth of knowledge they touch.

Retrograde Pluto - Individuality

The native with retrograde Pluto perceives the troubles of society as a personal reason to transform themselves. They know they cannot change the world, although they would like to do so if it were possible. But they can change the world within themselves by severing ties with everything that has bound them to their unpurified existence. This process takes many years, and sometimes many lifetimes are required to achieve it. In its highest manifestation, it represents true Christ consciousness, bringing the purest form of love to earth.

On a smaller scale and at a more ordinary level, they constantly remove from their life all those factors that hinder the progress of their Soul and the expression of their Spirit.

The native with retrograde Pluto experiences humanity’s struggle as a very personal struggle within themselves. They personally feel the need to overcome within themselves everything that lowers the consciousness of the society in which they live. Therefore, they perceive other people’s dishonesty toward themselves as a personal insult and a challenge to the forward movement they feel they must make for the ultimate good of the civilization of which they are an important part. They must learn to become a little more detached from the habitual patterns and behavioral characteristics of people whose lives have so little in common with their own true inner reality.

Retrograde Pluto - Karma

The native with retrograde Pluto is living through the karma of coming to know mass consciousness within themselves. They feel the impact of world thought and are aware of how it is connected with world thought throughout the centuries. Not always expressing outwardly what they know, they tend to view other people more as part of a greater whole than by relating to them one-on-one. In personal life, what they do is far less important than what they think about what they do. They live much of the time in their consciousness, sifting through a vast multitude of feelings.

The spiritual growth possible with retrograde Pluto is limited only by the native’s conscious mind. They can rise above a significant part of the karma of the entire human race if they choose to. Interestingly enough, if they try to avoid elevating their karma, they will in one way or another feel the lower karmas of the people around them. Thus, if they decide to rise above it, they can truly begin to live the teaching of Jesus: “to be in this world, but not of this world.” In order to ultimately achieve this, they temporarily withdraw from society during the first half of life until they learn to relate impartially to the energy of the world that they feel outside themselves. In the end, they reach a point where they no longer feel the action of this energy within themselves.

Retrograde Pluto in Libra

Natives with this placement have a rather unique experience in consciousness. They observe the evolution and transformation of the world, but do not truly feel a desire to be a substantial part of it. On the one hand, they personally perceive the consciousness of every person around them. This makes them a curious blend of everyone they have seen and come into contact with. On the other hand, they do not relate to themselves personally. Thus, they do not stand up for what it seems they should stand up for. As a result, this placement functions as a window through which the consciousness of humanity passes.

A strong sense of responsibility for others gives many people with this configuration a silent martyr complex. They feel that their ability to balance the people around them is reflected in their personal account before God. This is one of the most difficult placements for retrograde Pluto, because the force of change destroys the quiet inertia of Libra. Here there is a drive to achieve combined with a desire not to participate.

When Pluto entered Libra, many “Guru movements” became popular. Even the spread of Transcendental Meditation is a distinctive expression of this placement. To transcend limits is the power of Pluto; to do this through meditation is the calm inactivity of Libra.

On an individual level, the retrograde action of the planet gives the native the ability to absorb human consciousness so that they can fit into the wholeness of everything they perceive. This causes them to experience Phase Three of the retrograde process most of the time.

Karmically, people born with this planetary placement have an inwardly calm and impartial desire to transform the age in which they live. Their goal is a more peaceful and harmonious state of consciousness.

Retrograde Pluto in the Second House

Here the native lives through the karma of bondage. They are chained either to the values of society or to their own obsessive thoughts from a past life, which must be brought to the surface in order to be eliminated. In reality, it does not matter what binds them. What is important is that they come to understand that they must destroy their past value systems if they are ever to achieve happiness.

During the first half of life, they do not understand the world clearly and believe that, because of external factors, they are deprived of everything they think they need. They must learn to distinguish between their desires and their needs, because although they may rarely get what they want, they will always have exactly what they need. In personal life, they are possessive, incredibly stubborn, and remarkably resistant to any external encouragement that tries to make them fit into the world around them. They would rather see the world bend so that it conforms to their ideals. As a result, they live in chains of their own making, silently despising everyone who does not agree with their ideas.

This placement may indicate a strong residue of the past-life “animal self,” brought into this incarnation to be overcome. In order to transform themselves, the native must carefully examine their inner motives during Phase Three of the retrograde process and realize that much of what they cling to and seek has little foundation in the reality of what truly makes them happy in the current life.

LUNAR NODES

LUNAR NODES Lunar Nodes symbolize the axis of development. The South Node indicates the experience a person has accumulated in past lives, while the North Node shows the experience the person needs to acquire in the current life.

North Node in Virgo, South Node in Pisces

A person with the South Node in Pisces is inclined to go with the flow and overload themselves with other people’s problems. Meanwhile, in this life they should not be too soft, vulnerable, sensitive, or detached from reality. The North Node in Virgo requires the development of practicality, a strong capacity for work, and a sober approach to affairs.

It is desirable for the person to choose a field of activity that requires the use of intellectual and analytical abilities. A native who has a clear sense of their karmic task may become a successful writer, scholar, administrator, physician, and so on.

North Node in the First House - South Node in the Seventh House. Karma of the Personality

This placement of the Nodes indicates the need to turn toward oneself and one’s origins. By coming to know themselves and understanding their goals, tasks, desires, and motives of behavior, the person will be able to interact fully with others and achieve success in partnerships.

Often, with this placement of the Nodes, the person goes through difficult situations in their personal life. Partners, both marital and business, are not drawn to them by chance. By communicating, living, and working with them, the native resolves long-standing problems that stretch back from past incarnations. In this case, they should not keep replacing their partners, choosing someone who seems better or more promising. By changing from within, the native changes their immediate environment. The kinder, more compassionate, and more spiritual the native becomes, the more positive and conscious their companion becomes.

SELENA

Selena In addition to the North Node, the path of karmic advancement and the application of innate talents is shown by the White Moon, also called Selena or Lulu. This is a fictitious point that reflects the light karma accumulated by the native in a past life, or by their ancestors over several generations. The place where the guardian angel’s sign is located shows the area in which the native has accumulated the greatest number of good deeds. This is where the starry road to success and prosperity now shines, provided the higher qualities of the sign where the White Moon is located are developed and expressed.

Selena (White Moon) in Sagittarius

Selena, when positioned in Sagittarius, directs her ward onto the path of a teacher and spiritual mentor, awakening the memory of past heroic deeds. Most likely, they were a priest, a temple servant or educator, a traveler wishing to expand ideas about the Universe, or a world-renowned scholar. The native most likely brought happiness to many people by teaching them communion with the divine principle, giving them skills useful for their work and uplifting for the soul, and suffering for good deeds far from their native land. In return, fate now provides them with protection during travel abroad and supports noble educational and business projects with foreign partners.

Every seven years, a new cycle of Selena launches a fireworks display of rewards for accumulated merits, and if these merits grow along the line of Sagittarius’s highest positive qualities, then the well-being and prosperity of the bearer of the White Moon in Sagittarius will grow stronger.

Selena in the 4th House

Selena in the Fourth sector symbolizes the support of the mother as the embodiment of an earthly guardian angel, as well as the sacred radiance of the family hearth. If she is located in the first third of the House, the native is protected by the entire maternal family line. Ancestors may appear in dreams and give answers to pressing questions. One of the best and strongest positions of the White Moon also implies a high spiritual mission connected with protecting the traditions of one’s native country, but in order to fulfill it, the person needs to understand the specifics of interacting with the power of ancestral karma.

To achieve success, people with the White Moon in the Fourth House need to develop the talents and abilities that existed in their family line and were passed down to them genetically.

LILITH

Lilith Lilith is considered a demon-temptress, but it is often not understood that at the highest level of consciousness development, she ceases to be a source of danger and, on the contrary, strengthens a person’s talents according to the sign and house in which she is placed.

For this reason, it is very important to bring one’s Lilith out of darkness and into the light. Then the courage for new exploration can manifest on a positive, creative level. This is a fictitious point in the horoscope, not a planet, but its power is often underestimated, while working through it is often considered impossible. However, the right actions and symbolism can work wonders.

Lilith shows the bottom, the darkest side of the person: the dark pit into which the native may fall if they give in to the temptation of lower vibrations and follow the path marked by Lilith. This should be kept in mind when reading a horoscope.

Lilith (Black Moon) in Leo

With Lilith in the sign of Leo, sensuality and sexuality can be sublimated, if not into spiritual strength, then into creative energy, whose application the person may find in art, especially cinema, theater, and music. Sports activities are also beneficial. Temptations can be resisted by a strong, purposeful will, which is capable of controlling sensuality and supports a conscious refusal of the role of seducer. It is considered together with the positions of the Sun, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, retrograde Mars, and the Fifth House of the horoscope.

Lilith in the 12th House

In a previous life, the person enchanted and seduced everyone with their charms, tempted them, suppressed their will, used occult knowledge, and drew upon the forces of black magic. Those who did not yield to them or submit to their will were driven to a psychiatric hospital or to prison. This Karma is one of the heaviest, and the Twelfth House is the worst place for Lilith, because it is here that her fatality works at full power. Lilith, being the Demon’s closest assistant in sexual matters, participates in all bargains involving the sale of a human soul to Satan. If the person manages to avoid this bargain, the swamp of alcoholism, drug addiction, and other “pleasures” of the lower depths of life lies in wait for them. There is, of course, a possibility of avoiding this, but only through complete self-restraint, self-renunciation, and self-sacrifice. A fatal connection is indicated with a person whose planet forms a conjunction or some strong aspect with the native’s Lilith.

PART OF FORTUNE

PART OF FORTUNE

The Part of Fortune represents the path on which a person can achieve the greatest joy and fulfillment. It then becomes obvious that the Part of Fortune has much to do with how well a person meets and overcomes their negative karma, while at the same time creating and accepting the rewards of their positive karma.

The Part of Fortune, like the planet Jupiter, promises abundance. However, it encompasses a significantly larger part of a person’s existence than any specific planet. The Part of Fortune attunes the individual to the environment in which prosperity will be most natural for them, and determines for each person what their unique and special concept of success will be. It also shows the person’s strongest need, defining the keynote to which their entire being resonates.

Part of Fortune in Aries

The Part of Fortune in Aries brings success in all matters indicated by the essential nature of the sign Aries. The stimulus for success is healthy pride, remarkable self-confidence, restlessness of spirit, a scientific way of thinking, logical reasoning, as well as decisiveness, emotional and physical vitality, spiritedness, ambition, courage, bravery, perseverance, persistence, initiative, enterprise, great drive, optimism, enthusiasm, a desire for outward activity, headlong Martian energy, nobility, generosity, goodwill, and magnanimity.

Here, the Part of Fortune brings income from service in the army, security and law enforcement agencies, and from professions connected with fire and hot shops, iron and metals, medicine, especially surgery, or animal meat. Success is also promised in public service, political or social activity, and scientific research. Administrative activity and sports disciplines are indicated. However, in all these matters, caution should be exercised during periods when the transiting Sun and Mars are in conjunction, opposition, or square with each other or with other malefic planets. If the Sun and Mars form these malefic aspects in the Radix, Martian professions should not be chosen.

If afflicted, one must take into account the negative traits of the individual, which will adversely affect their activity. Here, they will have to reckon with quick irritability, excitability, hot temper, and impulsiveness. Haste, rashness in decisions and actions, impatience, unbridled passions, anger, aggression, militancy, a tendency toward violence, and sensuality in the form of despotism and tyranny play a major negative role.

Historical figures with the Part of Fortune in Aries: George Washington, Francis Bacon, Isaac Newton, Frédéric Chopin, Louis Pasteur, Clara Barton, Albert Einstein.

Part of Fortune in the Ninth House

The Part of Fortune in the Ninth House supports the individual’s spiritual growth and increases their intellectual potential. Income depends on the person’s intellectual level. If it is high, the main income can be expected from scientific work, intellectual activity, publishing or teaching, philosophy, and religious fields. Long-distance trips, business travel, extended educational journeys, and scientific expeditions also play a major role in life.

Activity connected with international organizations and enterprises may be successful. If the person is endowed with phenomenal abilities, such as the gift of foresight, prediction, or prophetic dreams, then these may bring the main and considerable income. This Part of Fortune supports the achievement of a high social level and a good material position, both on the worldly plane and in the spiritual hierarchy. Success is promised in all matters connected with higher education and pedagogical activity, mass cultural events, legal and public activity, and connections with foreign countries and foreigners.

VERTEX

VertexIn the western hemisphere of every natal chart, a very important point can be found: the Vertex. It is compared to a handle on the gates of fate, which must be turned so that the doors open and allow the native into a new dimension. This is not just a point, but the peak of a sensitive axis in the horoscope, along which the electric current of karma flows. The Vertex is also called the electric Ascendant. It is activated unexpectedly during truly emotional periods of life.

The sign where this turning point of fate is located is at once an arena of passions, the scenery of the circumstances offered by life, and a clue to what exactly the native should develop within themselves. The aspects of the Vertex show talents and skills that are already present from the beginning, helping the native correspond to the scenario proposed by fate. These are magical tools that help the person pass through trials with honor and gain positive new experience in the houses where the Vertex is placed. More...

Congratulations, the natal chart has been calculated. This is the basis, the foundation, the person’s inner cosmos. A person will return to it many times, each time discovering something new and unexplored.

All the links below lead to charts calculated using the data from the natal chart form.

Additional understanding of the chart can be gained through:

  1. Fixed Stars in the natal chart. Some planets in the natal chart may behave in very unusual ways, and the cause may be the influence of a star hidden behind the planet or house cusp.

The next step is predictive astrology:

  1. Transit Calculation. This method makes it possible to calculate the transits of moving planets and overlay them on the natal chart. Transiting planets interact with the planets of the natal chart. As a result, an energetic connection arises, activating and awakening various events in a person’s inner and outer life.
