Doug Savant

Doug Savant is an American actor, best known for his roles in the popular TV series Melrose Place and Desperate Housewives.
He was interested in acting since childhood and began his career in film and television in the 1980s.
In 1992, he landed the role of Matt Fielding, an openly gay man, in the series Melrose Place. This role was groundbreaking for its time and brought Savant critical attention.
From 2004 to 2012, he played Tom Scavo in the series Desperate Housewives, the husband of Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman). His character was key to the development of the series and was remembered by viewers for his humanity and warmth.
-In addition to these projects, he starred in such series as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, ER and 24. He was married to actress Laura Leito, with whom he has two children. In 1998, he married Laura Innes, the star of the series “ER”. The couple have two children.
He prefers a quiet family life away from the spotlight.
He played many roles in sci-fi films of the 1980s, including “The Manhattan Project”.
His character in “Melrose Place” became one of the first LGBTQ+ representatives on television, which caused a wide public resonance.

KARMIC INDICATORS

Karmic indicators help a person become aware of deep-rooted problems that go back to past lives, and begin working on themselves in order to overcome them and improve both this life and, potentially, the next one. Karmic problems should not be understood as punishment for misdeeds and sins, as karma is usually interpreted in the everyday sense. Karma is not retribution, but rather inertia, when a person attracts similar situations from one life to another. From a karmic point of view, every element of the natal chart can be interpreted without exception. However, the most important indicators of karma in the horoscope are retrograde planets, if any, and the Lunar Nodes.

Retrograde Planets

Retrograde planets are always connected with turning back to the past. The more retrograde planets a person has in the horoscope, the stronger their connection with the past. A retrograde planet also points to an unresolved task from a past life, unfinished business, or unrealized abilities. It forces the person to take up again what could not be completed in the past. Retrograde Venus — Individuality

A person with retrograde Venus differs noticeably from a person with Venus in direct motion. Here, there is a tendency to create grievances and wounds within and work through them internally, whereas Venus in direct motion would try to work them through outwardly. Often, retrograde Venus not only creates these grievances and wounds, but also tends to exaggerate their effect. Excessive emphasis is placed on the lack of love in the individual’s life. For such a person, the path of love does not flow smoothly.

Excessively shy, they usually doubt whether people pay attention to them. Not always certain of their likes and dislikes, they experience a discrepancy between their life and their awareness of it. But in doing so, they semi-consciously continue pushing others away so that no one truly comes to know them deeply enough to threaten the small degree of confidence and security on which they have based their identity. In this position, the individual blocks themselves from happiness by trying too hard to achieve it.

Retrograde Venus — Karma

When Venus is retrograde, the individual carries with them a misunderstanding of love from a past life. The emotional pain was so strong that they now cut themselves off from fully experiencing the richness of love because they are afraid of being wounded again. Whether male or female, there is great difficulty in relationships with the opposite sex in the current life.

Trying to live in the present, they endlessly recreate the past memory of love from a previous incarnation, which continues to elude them. They react to the present as if they are actually living in their past. In this sense, they are fixed at some point in time, and no matter what they do, there will hardly be the forward movement they say they want.

In men’s charts, this sometimes indicates karma connected with homosexuality. But even homosexuality has its levels, ranging from an openly homosexual man who tries to politically promote homosexuality to the world, to a man who will not tolerate even the word in his presence, who is married but looks for every opportunity to avoid women while proving his masculinity. In the life of the latter type of man, everything revolves around male friends. Under the pretext of attending clubs, associations, and so on, he avoids the company of women. He may function respectably in society, but he is still a latent homosexual. Less often, similar reactions are found in women with retrograde Venus.

The most noticeable karmic pattern is that the individual, whether male or female, has a strong tendency to distrust most offers of love, feeling that those who make these offers usually have hidden motives.

Retrograde Venus in Gemini

Here, the individual spends a great deal of time trying to find out what other people think of them. They often change their likes and dislikes in order to act in harmony with whoever they are with at the moment, because they need feedback in order to understand the parts of themselves they believe they like. As a result, their life becomes more oriented toward acceptance and approval than toward purpose.

Because of Gemini’s mutable qualities, this retrograde planet can function during all three phases, but Venus here never fully acquires the personal richness it is trying to establish. Instead, everything occurs on mental levels, and the person’s love is ultimately based on ideas and concepts rather than on personal feelings. Because love constantly reidentifies itself according to other people’s evaluations, this individual will be less personally affected than most people. They tend to focus much of their life on other people’s ideas, which they understand least of all. As a result, their relationships will confuse them.

Experiencing difficulties with the opposite sex, they look for reasons within themselves to explain the discomfort they feel in their company. The problem is that their mental part, Gemini, has dual masculine qualities, while their feeling part, retrograde Venus, naturally has feminine qualities. To reach this, they must overcome the karma of a past life in which they had difficulty identifying the masculine and feminine parts within themselves. In the current life, they subconsciously try to satisfy both parts until they realize that their identity is based on neither of them. Rather, its foundation is the interaction of positive and negative energies, which, when blended, become the source of all creative thinking.

Retrograde Venus in the Eighth House

Here, the individual spends a great deal of time in Phase I of the retrograde process, when the passionate nature intensifies the need to achieve future satisfaction now. They feel great inner intensity that is not easily released. Emotions of love are often joined with past anger and resentment directed toward some individual or experience that brought up painful memories.

They are extremely receptive and do not like others looking too closely at them. Their ideals are very high, but if the individual is unable to realize their dream in real life, their actions may move in the opposite direction. In sex, they fluctuate between periods of intense need and periods of complete lack of interest. Their sexual stimulus is connected with a strong desire for possession. At times, they may secretly envy others who seem to have more than they do.

They hide from their own feelings, not wanting to face the wall they place between their outer and inner life. With this Venus position, the person is very impatient and irritable, because they experience the depth of their own needs while also feeling the influence of other people’s needs.
