Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton was born on January 19, 1946, in Tennessee, the fourth of 12 children in a poor tenant farmer’s family, who lived in a tiny one-room shack without electricity or running water. Music became her salvation from an early age: she sang in her preacher grandfather’s church, performed on local television at 10, and by 13, she had already taken the stage at the legendary Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. After high school, she immediately moved to the country music capital, struggled to make it big, and in 1967, she gained fame thanks to Porter Wagoner’s television show. It was during this time that she wrote her biggest hits, “Jolene” and “I Will Always Love You,” which made her an international star.

Beyond music, to which she dedicated dozens of albums and 11 Grammy Awards, Dolly became famous as a talented actress in films like 9 to 5 and Steel Magnolias, and as a successful businesswoman who opened the Dollywood amusement park in 1986. She was involved in philanthropy throughout her life, notably founding the Imagination Library program, which distributes free books to children worldwide, and donating $1 million to the development of a COVID-19 vaccine. In 1966, she married Carl Dean and remained with him until his death in 2025. They did not have children, which Dolly always attributed to a conscious choice in favor of freedom and career. She was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in August 2026, she passed away, leaving behind a vast musical and humanitarian legacy. Dolly Parton - Natal Chart Interpretation

Horoscope interpretation comes down to combining the meanings of the four basic elements of astrology — Planets, Signs, Aspects, and Houses — into a single whole, which is what makes each interpretation individual. More...

SUN

Strength: 59.13
Harmony: -9.13

SunThe SUN is the most important luminary, the center of life force. It can be compared to the king on a chessboard. It determines the health and well-being of the person born. It gives a creative impulse and ideals, including the desire for power, influence, and strength. The position of the main luminary in the natal chart has fateful significance. For example, the happiest people on Earth are those who do not have pronounced tense aspects to the Sun. At the same time, one might think that their character traits may be somewhat “soft,” because through the Sun a person develops the ego and strengthens the inner backbone of life. It is important to remember that the Sun represents the inner mind, not instinct. More...

Q Sun in Capricorn z 29°

People born under the sign of Capricorn are distinguished by an incredibly strong sense of purpose and resilience in the face of all kinds of life difficulties. The description of a Capricorn Sun shows an embodiment of strength and spirit, whether in a woman or a man. There is no task this true representative of the Earth element cannot handle. At the same time, they are proud and self-confident, which often becomes a source of conflict with others and misunderstanding in relationships with loved ones.

Q Sun in the 5th House

FIFTH HOUSE (House of creation and sex). SUN (planet of vital energy and individuality) in the Fifth House: the native is energetic and creative, loves pleasure and comfort. They are interested in art, theater, and sports, and enjoy being in society. They probably often have romances and spend money freely. Strength: children bring them joy. Weakness: pride interferes in love relationships.

Sun Aspects

Just as all the planets in the solar system revolve around the Sun, a person receives their life purpose from the Sun in the natal chart. The Sun is the ego, the “inner child” that makes the final decisions. It guides the person and can be considered the “boss” of the natal chart, especially in the charts of men. Read more

ASCENDANT

Strength: 38.85
Harmony: -11.75

In the birth chart, the Ascendant is the cusp of the First House. It is the second most important factor after the position of the Sun. The position of the Ascendant in the signs of the Zodiac determines how a person manifests outwardly. The position of a planet on the Ascendant significantly strengthens the expression of that planet’s qualities in the person. In general, the position of planets on or near the Ascendant is the third most important factor. The symbol used in the table is (ASC).

The Ascendant speaks of the mask a person wears in public; it is the first impression they make when meeting people. Often, when the person is puzzled by how others describe them, it is because others are describing this aspect of their personality. The Ascendant is present in the person’s appearance and individuality, sometimes extending as far as influencing physical characteristics. The sign becomes noticeably expressed in their image, style, and manner of carrying themselves. It is also reflected in the way they act. Some astrologers believe that the sign becomes weaker after a person reaches the age of 30, as their confidence in who they are grows. The rising sign manifests in the first personal traits inherent in the person and in the way they react to their environment.

ASCENDANT in Virgo h 02° - Ruler: Mercury

Virgo is ruled by Mercury, and this ruler gives the sign a tendency toward analysis. Typical representatives of the sign pay great attention to small things and details; they are attentive and diligent. Taken too far, however, this can make them unbearable pedants and nitpickers.

People born with Virgo Rising are usually practical, analytical, discerning, picky, cautious, demanding, detail-oriented, methodical, modest, shy, critical, sensible, and somewhat self-centered. They have a brilliant, active, and receptive mind. Acquiring knowledge and directing it properly toward the best possible result is very important to them. They strive for perfection, although very few people could live with them or remain close to them, because their standards for themselves and others are rather high. It is important to understand that others cannot always meet those high standards. Finding fault with people and things is their specialty. Sometimes this can even damage relationships if they constantly criticize their partner and what that person does. Pessimism and self-criticism are two negative traits they should try to overcome. They may worry too often, especially over minor and insignificant things, and this can affect their health.

They need to learn to digest every experience and accept it without bitterness, regret, anger, or resentment. They need to release any negativity caused by feelings of inferiority. They tend to look younger than their age, regardless of how old they are.

The main lesson to learn: learn to interact with people.

Mercury rules Virgo, so Mercury is important when interpreting the natal chart. Read more...

MIDHEAVEN (MC)

Strength: 58.87
Harmony: 1.44

МС

The Midheaven (Meridian, MC) is the culminating point of the natal chart. It symbolizes the noon of life and coincides with the cusp of the Tenth House of the horoscope. The Meridian line, MC - IC, is the vertical axis of the horoscope, while the Ascendant - Descendant line (AC - DC) is the horizontal axis. Together, they form the so-called “axial cross,” or “cross of fate.” In terms of importance, the Midheaven ranks third in the horoscope after the Ascendant and the position of the Sun. The Midheaven, like the Tenth House of the horoscope as a whole, symbolizes everything connected with the person’s profession and social standing: success or lack of success in society, career, popularity, fame, titles, awards, or the absence of these. It shows the person as an individual within society, points to their professional skills, and indicates the possibility of rising up the social ladder.

Midheaven in Taurus s 28° - Ruler: Venus

Ruler: Venus. The person realistically assesses their abilities, opportunities, and prospects. They take a practical view of their occupation, profession, and position, which in their opinion should first and foremost provide income. A person with this Midheaven placement strives for stability and steadily works to improve their material standard of living. The security and durability of their job, a calm and settled lifestyle, property, and, if possible, real estate are their main life priorities.

This person moves toward their goal with persistence and determination. Once they set a goal, they do not abandon it, but direct all their strength toward it, patiently overcoming every obstacle that appears along the way. They have enough endurance and patience to reach it sooner or later, unlike Aries, who sometimes lacks patience and leaves the race after completing the hardest part of the path simply because they cannot wait. Where Aries wins by storming ahead, Taurus wins through persistence and composure. The MC in Taurus almost always guarantees a certain degree of material success and stable financial income. MOON

Strength: 36.19
Harmony: -11.04

Moon The Moon is a transmitter of sensations, emotions, and moods. It rules the spheres of the soul and subconscious, innate reflexes, and habits that come from childhood. The Moon is the ruler of Cancer. Taurus is considered the sign of its exaltation. Capricorn is considered the sign of its fall, and Scorpio the sign of its detriment, or exile. If the Moon has strong essential dignity in the horoscope and forms harmonious interactions with other planets in the natal chart, the native feels inner harmony; even when difficulties arise in life, they overcome periods of trouble with ease. W Moon in Virgo h 00°

The ability to establish connections is traditionally considered Mercury’s most specific “character” trait. MARS

Strength: 41.52
Harmony: -33.53

Mars Mars is strength, assertiveness, aggressive sexuality, struggle, and rivalry. The planet’s most important functions are protection, the instinct of self-preservation, and self-expression. In the modern world, people rarely have to protect their lives or homes from mortal danger. What comes to the forefront instead is defending one’s own opinion, protecting personal interests in professional and social spheres, competing, and striving to win.

A strong Mars gives the world heroes capable of sacrificing themselves for other people or for higher ideals. In everyday reality, the person expresses themselves vividly through activity directed toward the common good. More...

JUPITER

Strength: 34.53

Jupiter In the astrological theater, Jupiter plays the role of the “Great Benefic.” Since antiquity, it has been associated with luck and material blessings. Yet the largest planet in the solar system has other purposes as well. It is responsible for spiritual and intellectual development and encourages a person to search for the meaning of life. From a psychological point of view, Jupiter embodies the generous, fair father. Its main enemies are stagnation and boredom. The giant rules the Ninth and Twelfth Houses.

The remarkable qualities of a strong Jupiterian person are often not their own achievement, but the result of fantastic luck. A winning lottery ticket or an unexpected inheritance are typical gifts from generous Jupiter. More...

SATURN

Strength: 54.17

Saturn Traditionally, the “Lord of Time” is associated with the darkest sides of life: old age and death, decline and deprivation. Yet Saturn is also a great sage, mentor, and lawgiver. It embodies a person’s conscience. Saturn creates prohibitions, but without them, chaos and anarchy would reign in life. Saturn promotes maturity and teaches a person to plan their life. It rules the Tenth astrological House and is responsible for career, social status, and reputation.

URANUS

Strength: 39.97
Harmony: 3.13

Uranus Uranus is a symbol of suddenness and surprise, originality and eccentricity, unforeseen actions and behavior, various shifts and changes, turning points and rearrangements of both a positive and negative nature. Under its influence, past and present values are reassessed, and the future is anticipated.

Uranus is the sign of higher reason and almost supernatural intuition. It gives rise to true geniuses, people who are ahead of their time and remain misunderstood by their own generation. Uranus represents a projected point of the unconscious, yet it brings highly symbolic images and impulses into a person’s consciousness, arising both while awake and in dreams. This distinctive power to form images gives birth to intuition and inspiration, a flash of creative force, as well as scientists and inventors, poets and performers, musicians and artists, statesmen and political figures, religious reformers and revolutionaries.

Driven by the desire to play by its own rules, Uranus embodies change, reform, evolution, and revolution. More...

NEPTUNE

Strength: 20.87

Neptune Neptune is full of mysteries. Its realm is feelings and impressions, dreams and reveries. The planet forms a refined perception of art, as well as an attraction to religion and mysticism. Neptune constantly acts on a person in an almost imperceptible, even mysterious way, creating forces that reject and refuse to acknowledge any psychic or spiritual limitations. These forces stir the feelings to their deepest depths and direct the mind toward the search for still-unknown and undiscovered mysteries of nature, the cosmos, and the human being. More...

When acquiring things, they are more interested in their aesthetic value to them than in their material value. Strengths: generosity toward those in need, ability to earn income from creative work, absence of excessive materialism. Weaknesses: careless or indifferent attitude toward money, excessive gullibility, laziness.

PLUTO

Strength: 30.41

Pluto PLUTO is the main ruler of all collective mysteries, gatherings, rallies, demonstrations, and similar mass events. Together with Uranus, it destroys old, rotten, outdated political world systems, creating new ones separately for each nation and state.

On the one hand, Pluto shows a person as an integral being; on the other, as a particle of the cosmos and of a given society. Pluto symbolizes the final stage of the individuation process, a second birth or rebirth, after which the person becomes more complete. In one case, it may bring the person under its influence brilliant success and career advancement, unexpected wealth or worldwide fame, influence over the masses, the crowd, the public, or an audience, and a social rise as rapid and dazzling as a meteor. In another case, it may bring total losses. More...

NATAL CHART HOUSES

HOROSCOPE HOUSES

The Houses provide information about how, where, and to what extent a person's characteristic traits will manifest, how their potential will be revealed, and how all of this will be realized in everyday life. Each House represents a specific sphere of human life. The Houses reflect a person's life in society, the kind of person life compels them to become, and show acquired skills, habits, methods, and goals that life sets before the person, as well as the ways through which they will move toward their goal.

1st HOUSE - h 02°

Strength: 64.07
Harmony: -29.45

1st House in Virgo - Ruler of Mercury

The First House is angular, which means it possesses qualities such as activity, initiative, and dynamism. It is the first of the Houses of life, and in this capacity, it represents the physical aspect of the personality — the body.

The First House in Virgo shows that this energy is close to the native in communication and in the way they express themselves. This is a positive person who strives for self-development and discipline. They love making lists and planning for the future. A person with the Ascendant in Virgo sees the world and events as if through a microscope, noticing every detail. Perfectionism and high standards do not allow them to stay silent when they see carelessly done work or an unfair attitude toward other people.

Mercury rules Virgo, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the First House (Ascendant).

2nd HOUSE - h 26°

Strength: 46.08
Harmony: -11.45

2nd House in Virgo - Ruler of Mercury

The Second House is the place of a person’s financial power. It shows the source of stable income from which the native can move toward the wealth of the Eighth sector, as well as find connections with their life purpose through the Tenth House, creating prosperity, well-being, and the happiness of public recognition. It is important to understand the ways of interacting with money, the nature of spending, and one’s own behavior in financial matters.

Prudent Virgo on the cusp of the Second House rarely leaves the native without a penny to their name, but they are not especially eager to chase mountains of gold either. The exception is a strongly emphasized Leo or Capricorn in the natal chart, especially if connected by aspects to the Second sector.

Mercury rules Virgo, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Second House.

3rd HOUSE - j 25°

Strength: 62.64
Harmony: -2.07

3rd House in Libra - Ruler of Venus

The Third House is defined as the House of communication, the sphere in which a person feels the need to express their ideas, whether orally or in writing. As the House that signifies family ties, it primarily includes a person’s brothers and sisters, if they have any, and describes the nature of their relationship with them. In addition, it also points to relationships with other people in the immediate environment, such as neighbors, for example. But this is not all — it also indicates nearby, short-distance travel in the local area: by car, bus, train, or bicycle. The Third House belongs to the cadent Houses and indicates the ability of the native’s mind (Mercury) to learn, perceive different ideas, and adapt to various teachings; in practical terms, this means schooling and primary education.

The cusp of the Third sector in Libra means that Venus is the ruler of this House. The idea of universal justice, the desire to calm anger with a kind word, and the wish to bring clarity to issues that do not even directly concern the native are characteristic of a person with the Third House in Libra.

Venus rules Libra, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Third House.

4th HOUSE - k 28°

Strength: 26.62
Harmony: -6.14

4th House in Scorpio - Ruler of Pluto and Mars

The Fourth House is connected with a person’s private life and the way they would like to arrange their home. This is also where the roots of their origin should be sought. It is the House of motherhood and childcare. It also describes property, housing, real estate, and similar matters. The Fourth House also points to the final years of life and the end of a person’s physical existence. From this perspective, the Eighth House is considered the House of spiritual transformation and liberation, while the Twelfth House is the House in which a person’s restless thoughts and agitated rational mind must be calmed.

With the Fourth House in Scorpio, depending on the level of lived experience and inner work, a person either turns back into who they were in childhood or rises to the higher level of the sign on the cusp.

The senior ruler Pluto and the junior ruler Mars rule Scorpio, so both Mars and Pluto will play an important role when analyzing the Fourth House.

5th HOUSE - z 02°

Strength: 192.85
Harmony: -66.37

5th House in Capricorn - Ruler of Saturn and Uranus

The Fifth House is a House of life that carries the fiery energy of inspiration and the power of motivation. The warmth of this fire extends to others as well. For this reason, this House is considered the House of love that a person gives to others. The love given in connection with this House is not the affection associated with Venus in astrology, nor the sexual instincts related to Mars, but love that comes from the heart — the very quality that is the main characteristic of Leo.

In Capricorn, all spheres of pleasure undergo the restrictions imposed by its ruler, Saturn. Expressing emotions becomes difficult, and as a result, relationships with children may be cold and strained. There may also be a desire to impose one’s will and constantly control everyone, along with fear of expressing sexuality and creative innovation. Because of restraint and conservatism, the person may miss the chance to be happy.

The senior ruler Saturn and the junior ruler Uranus rule Capricorn, so their influence should be taken into account when analyzing the Fifth House.

6th HOUSE - x 03°

Strength: 23.54
Harmony: -8.35

6th House in Aquarius - Ruler of Uranus and Saturn

The Sixth House is traditionally associated with work, health, and service. This House is still focused on the individual, on the “me.” It expresses a person’s attitude toward employment: whether they will do the work voluntarily or whether it will feel like a heavy burden. The Sixth House also indicates a person’s habits, established routine, occupation, general nutrition and, in particular, diet, as well as pets.

Aquarius on the cusp of the Sixth House symbolizes a creative, freedom-loving person who does not recognize rules and plays by their own. It is especially difficult for them to work through the main aspects of the Sixth House: daily routine drives them into depression, which can lead to frequent resignations and changes of profession.

The senior ruler Uranus and the junior ruler Saturn rule Aquarius, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the Sixth House.

7th HOUSE - c 02°

Strength: 13.85
Harmony: 1.49

7th House in Pisces - Ruler of Neptune and Jupiter

When describing the properties of the Seventh House as an angular House, it is customary to say that it manifests openly and through the public sphere. Traditionally, it is considered the House of relationships in all areas of life: love, friendship, cooperation, and even enmity. It shows what a person expects from contact with other people and how they express themselves in any union. The Seventh House teaches development through the close social circle, the ability to accept the successes of others, and the ability to learn missing qualities from enemies. The likelihood of marriage and divorce, as well as the personality of the spouse, can also be read through the planets and sign.

The Seventh House in Pisces reveals the native as a tender, romantic nature who dreams of love until their last breath. With the Ascendant in Virgo, along with the person’s outward restraint and practicality, it can be difficult to guess the deep sensuality that attracts creative, bohemian partners — or simply soft-willed and infantile ones.

The senior ruler Neptune and the junior ruler Jupiter rule Pisces, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the Seventh House.

8th HOUSE - c 26°

Strength: 13.85
Harmony: 1.49

8th House in Pisces - Ruler of Neptune and Jupiter

The key words for the Eighth House are usually considered to be “sex,” “death,” “big money,” and “personal transformation.” It is clear that sex can appear in several forms: as pure passion, as a force aimed at producing offspring, or as an expression of a deep feeling of love. Death also has several meanings and is not reduced only to the death of a specific human being. It can serve as a symbol of a certain idea, thought, undertaking, or even illness that disappears as a result of transformation.

The Eighth House in Pisces is an indicator of worked-through karma, when a person has learned to respond to sudden changes, illness, and the possession of wealth from the perspective of all zodiac signs. Thanks to this, the native’s greatest treasure is deep intuition, which helps them sense danger everywhere except in matters connected with water, illusions, alcohol, and psychotropic substances. Acutely experiencing injustice and understanding how everything works through many previous lives, the native seeks to escape reality into a world of dreams, which can lead to poisoning and addictions.

The senior ruler Neptune and the junior ruler Jupiter rule Pisces, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the Eighth House.

9th HOUSE - a 25°

Strength: 20.76
Harmony: -16.76

9th House in Aries - Ruler of Mars and Pluto

The Ninth House gives life higher meaning, expands the worldview, and encourages the search for keys to knowledge. This is a place of good fortune, considering that its symbolic ruler is Jupiter, the planet of great happiness, as well as connections with a new world. This manifests through higher education, travel to other countries, business contacts with foreigners, the spouse’s relatives, and esoteric knowledge. All of this expands the boundaries of consciousness and opens new paths of development.

The Ninth House in Aries makes the native a fiery seeker of truth, although they enjoy judging and exposing shortcomings more than finding ways to correct them. This is an idealist and a dramatic performer who despises simplicity and routine. If there is little of interest in life, they will direct an impressive film about themselves, regardless of social stereotypes.

The senior ruler Mars and the junior ruler Pluto rule Aries, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the Ninth House.

10th House in Taurus - Ruler of Venus

The Tenth House occupies the highest position in the horoscope, emphasizing the culminating nature of the corresponding area and pointing to the highest goal the person should strive to achieve. Therefore, the Tenth House indicates a possible profession, social position and reputation, as well as, in a broader sense, the true needs of the self. The key words for the Tenth House are social realization, recognition, success, fame, and renown.

A person with the Tenth House in Taurus confirms their high opinion of themselves by creating material comfort: designer clothing, a car, and an apartment in a prestigious neighborhood inspire them to work tirelessly. It is a blessing when the native’s talent coincides with the potential profit that can come from developing it, because the ruler of the Tenth House, Venus, generously endows them with a desire for art. However, the native will never become a poor artist: their desire to attain a high position in society is too strong.

Venus rules Taurus, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Tenth House.

11th House in Cancer - Ruler of Moon

The Eleventh House of joy and favorable opportunities, friends, and social activity shows where unexpected luck comes from and how a person can make a profit during a rapidly developing career. However, its main meaning is friendship and participation in collective projects, where the individual shows themselves either as a leader or as an obedient cog in the machine, depending on the nature of the sign on the cusp.

The Eleventh House in Cancer makes the native a warmhearted and loving friend. They perceive people dear to their heart as blood relatives, who can always count on their support and involvement.

The Moon rules Cancer, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Eleventh House.

Strength: 96.16

12th House in Leo - Ruler of Sun

The Twelfth House is the last in the Zodiac. Pisces is the symbolic sign, and Neptune is the symbolic ruler of the Twelfth House. Since Neptune is the planet of delusion and enlightenment, spiritual impulse and the desire to overcome the inertia of the physical world, it can be assumed that the Twelfth House is connected with a certain mystery. Pisces is sensitive and intuitive, inclined toward compassion and self-sacrifice — all of this largely defines the nature of the Twelfth House.

In a psychological sense, this is the native’s subconscious, inner world, largely hidden even from themselves, where all the joys and sorrows experienced since birth are immersed. Whether the native wants to look into their inner self and work with it depends entirely on them and on the decision they make. Some people expect the horoscope to make life easier, while others would like to use it in order to seriously understand themselves. The choice here depends on whether the person wants to consciously explore their inner world or is content for it to remain unknown. It is the Twelfth House that gives the opportunity to find one’s true self, gain faith, and receive inspiration.

The Twelfth House in Leo gives a person a tremendous reserve of energy and willpower, but most often they discover these qualities in confinement or in a confrontation with difficulties, without even suspecting their own leadership abilities.

The Sun rules Leo, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Twelfth House.

KARMIC INDICATORS

KARMA

Karmic indicators help a person become aware of deep-rooted problems that go back to past lives, and begin working on themselves in order to overcome them and improve both this life and, potentially, the next one. Karmic problems should not be understood as punishment for misdeeds and sins, as karma is usually interpreted in the everyday sense. Karma is not retribution, but rather inertia, when a person attracts similar situations from one life to another. From a karmic point of view, every element of the natal chart can be interpreted without exception. However, the most important indicators of karma in the horoscope are retrograde planets, if any, and the Lunar Nodes.

Retrograde Planets

Retrograde planets are always connected with turning back to the past. The more retrograde planets a person has in the horoscope, the stronger their connection with the past. A retrograde planet also points to an unresolved task from a past life, unfinished business, or unrealized abilities. It forces the person to take up again what could not be completed in the past. The symbol used in the table is R.

Retrograde Mars — Individuality

It is not easy for this individual to coordinate their needs. They have difficulty coordinating thought and action. The past, everything they have truly experienced, remains on the periphery of their consciousness. They also experience sexual difficulties because of the reverse magnetism of the retrograde planet. This is mainly due to their inability to regulate the flow of energy that this planetary position causes them to experience.

Much of what they will experience depends less on thoughts or emotions and more on the ability to manage their energy levels in coordination with the energies they receive from other people. They may react very strongly to a person. Their powerful attachments or dislikes may be based entirely on energies rather than on human sympathies.

Because of this, the individual’s relationships are almost always somewhat distorted. On the sexual level, they apparently symbolize more of a struggle for survival than an actual union with another person. They may jump to conclusions while at the same time delaying the necessary actions that would correct whatever is troubling them. If retrograde Mars is in an air sign, the individual is unusually mentally active and finds it difficult to learn how to relax.

This Mars position is more difficult for women than for men, because the drive system may not correspond to the rest of the horoscope and may diminish femininity. Very few women with this Mars position have, on a subconscious level, a love for men in general. However, on the conscious level, the clear opposite sometimes appears through placing men on a pedestal. This creates a kind of idol worship that brings the woman closer to her subconscious reality by inwardly creating the need to remove the pedestal.

In most positions, retrograde Mars produces a feeling of guilt that isolates the individual, leaving them apart from the free personal relationships characteristic of people with Mars in direct motion.

Retrograde Mars — Karma

When Mars is retrograde in the horoscope, all the individual’s actions in the current life are a restoration of the past. In this life, the individual tries to find people who symbolize those who satisfied them in past incarnations. In their mind, they assign roles to these figures who no longer exist and try, with them, to act out everything they could not previously express. They exert too much influence on people in an attempt to “fit” them into the imaginary roles they have devised for them. They encounter rejection that is too strong and deeply felt, but they do not understand why; they retreat into themselves, never fully experiencing the relationships of their current life in the present moment.

They tend to focus on those times in the past when they dealt with force. Now they subconsciously call forth a vibration toward that same force, whether it is anger, revenge, hostility, or the wrong action of each person in the present. In some cases, they may carry hostility from a past life that makes them distrust the actions of other people. In at least one past life, they experienced suspicious actions or deception from others. The residue of this in the current life weighs heavily on their present behavior.

Retrograde Mars in Cancer

This position of retrograde Mars is very frustrating for the individual, because the cardinal quality does not stop pushing them into Phase I, where there is a strong desire for new experience, yet emotional sensitivity, together with the need for childlike protection, continues to hold the individual back in Phase III. In this phase, the qualities of introversion make them act out life more within the emotional “self” than through the surrounding world.

In some cases, especially in women, a strong Electra complex is possible, in which suppressed infantile sexual feelings toward the father continue to govern most of life’s desires. The individual is attracted to people of the opposite sex who differ greatly from them in age.

There is a tendency to make other people part of their family. The person strives to wall off the outer world around themselves. Since Cancer is strongly connected with the formative years, the naturally absorbing introverted qualities of the third phase are intensified and enlarged, as every future desire becomes an attempt to recreate the secure origins of life. The individual very much wants to satisfy the expectations of older people.

They may keep desires inside for many years, and even when these desires do not satisfy them, it is difficult for them to redirect their energy. They must learn to come into greater contact with their impulses, which rise to the surface from their subconscious, so that they do not feel compelled to remake the world according to the pattern of family life. In other incarnations, they had traumatic experiences in youth, and only when they symbolically act them out again through role-playing with other people will they be able to bring their desires into the current life.

Retrograde Mars in the Eleventh House

When Mars is here, the person has a strong desire to dream. The individual brings themselves into a state of consciousness that allows them to revive moments from the past. They tend to avoid imposed obligations, but can manage them on their own as long as no one makes them feel responsible. They may spend many hours either alone or engaged in activities that do not seem practical to other people. The point is that much of their energy is directed toward their dreams, but they scatter so much energy that they are rarely able to bring these dreams into fulfillment.

Often, they separate themselves from their sexual desire, and it is very difficult for them to integrate it into the rest of their life. Their main difficulty is that they see how quickly and easily their aspirations, hopes, and dreams rise into the reality of their fantasies, but they know how much effort it will take to bring these subtle desires into their everyday life. This is the point at which they block themselves. The imaginary wall between fantasy and reality keeps much of their energy fixed on their dreams.

Karmically, they are learning how to give energy to their aspirations, so that after many lives of dreaming and imagining, they can break through the mental barrier that has kept those aspirations from becoming reality. The difficulties they experience in relationships with other people are the catalyst. They must force the individual to move beyond their imagined inadequacies so that they will want to change their identification with the world. When they can do this, their actions will flow from a new and far more satisfying perspective. It is interesting to note that with this Mars position, the scattered subtle qualities of the Eleventh House are less connected with the retrograde phases the individual experiences than with the actual zodiac sign that happens to be here.

Retrograde Saturn - Individuality

A native with retrograde Saturn takes very seriously the completion of everything they left unfinished in the past. They tend to go back in order to fill any gaps in what they once too hastily considered complete. Essentially, they are thoughtful and balanced. At times, they may seem overly cautious or too frugal, but any restraint on their part is entirely based on their need to preserve substance for important use. They consider excessive spending or wastefulness harmful, because they experienced this in past lives. Now they deeply value everything they learn or receive. Often, they feel an inner duty to God, which manifests as a powerful sense of gratitude for everything they see around them.

They try to teach other people who are less knowledgeable or experienced than they are. However, this is unsuccessful if those people have not experienced the native’s “fall from grace” in a past life and the great struggle that has now earned them the way back. As a result, retrograde Saturn carries an “inborn” maturity that cannot be achieved without great personal struggle and sacrifice.

Retrograde Saturn - Karma

Retrograde Saturn always indicates ongoing karma from past incarnations. Whatever the lesson may be, the native is unusually slow in bringing it to completion. Therefore, in this life, they must carry an additional burden from a past life within their soul. When the two lives finally come together, their true mission should become clear to them. Much of what they do in this life is a repetition of what their Saturn already stands for. But now they are faced with circumstances and situations that are somewhat different. The retrograde action of the planet may make them feel a restraining force, especially if they try to escape the weight of its lesson. But if they follow it, understanding that its patient guidance is slowly leading them toward identification with something higher than they could have imagined, then through this planet they can come to appreciate the workings of a beautiful divine universe.

Saturn is the person’s teacher, and when it is retrograde, it means the native experienced similar training before this life. Over the course of life, retrograde Saturn provides a tremendous amount of wisdom.

For Saturn, the retrograde position is the most natural and comfortable one, because it gives the native something like a second chance to refine the relationship formed between their soul, the circumstances they encountered in a past incarnation, and the way those circumstances were understood. Now, under Saturn’s calm guidance, the person can give form to everything they learned in the past.

Retrograde Saturn in Cancer

Here the native spends most of their time in Phase Three of the retrograde process, where they continue to linger over the emotions that burdened them in the past. They move through life slowly, because they feel they must be constantly sure of themselves. The need for security and protection is very strong. Unfortunately, the more energy they spend trying to free themselves from their emotional barriers, the more they actually recreate those very barriers, which shut them off even further. In order to become free, they must allow themselves to “flow” through these barriers without using force. There is space within all seemingly solid matter through which water can pass.

In many cases, a strong attachment in a past life to a person who represented protection and security is transferred to a parent or an older authority figure in this life, because the native does not understand how one can live without a protective womb. When they try to become less withdrawn, they are not sure they will be fully accepted by other people. As a result, they tend to wall off their emotions, as though preserving them for the one person they may meet in the future who will symbolize the past protection they left behind. They try to preserve a concept of familiarity in their mind. Even when they travel, they continue to identify each new place with a past in which they felt comfortable. In this way, they can move through life with a sense that they have secure roots, regardless of where they are or whom they are with.

Since they are learning about life in a world that seems to be changing, it would be better if, instead of trying to make their present fit into their past, they recognized and acknowledged the protection and security of the past. Then they would not have to keep searching for them in the outer world. In this way, they can fulfill their karma of eternal birth.

Retrograde Saturn in the Eleventh House

This is the placement of an idealist. The native must deal with the crystallization of their dreams, hopes, and goals. It is not enough for them simply to dream about these things, as others do. They must feel their fulfillment; only then do they feel like a significant person. Essentially, they face the difficult task of learning how to combine their reality with what they would like to consider their reality. Often, they take responsibility for friends, because the native’s own life is not truly broad enough to include the reality of everything they dream about. For this reason, they must expand it by drawing to themselves those people whose lives symbolize the dreams they are not ready or able to experience on their own.

With this Saturn placement, the shift between retrograde phases depends greatly on other people in the native’s life. They are a good adviser, because everything they advise others to do actually represents what they themselves would do if they were living the other person’s life. In a certain sense, this Saturn placement creates a kind of “Witness of Karma,” in which the native is less at the center of their own life than at the center of their dream, which may very well be the lot of other people’s lives. Thus, it does not matter who they actually are in their own life. What those people stand for will ultimately be more important to the native than who they truly are. Even when the person tries to attract important people to themselves, they are subconsciously more concerned with the reason for those people’s fame than with the reality of who they are.

Retrograde Uranus - Individuality

A person with retrograde Uranus reveals a rather unique individuality.

At the deepest levels, they are a rebel against everything that binds them. If the person is timid, they may experience claustrophobia. If they are fearless, they will try to overturn everything they believe has outlived its usefulness. They cannot be satisfied with simply moving through life, because they see too many things that could enrich humanity if only society would shake off all its false anchors of security.

They become uneasy if other people respond to them too favorably, because then they feel they have lost a significant part of themselves. Therefore, from time to time, they will lose friends and acquaintances, sometimes jobs and romantic attachments, all because other people often find it too difficult to accept the unusual nature of their ideas. Yet years later, when society begins to defend everything they once stood for, they will no longer be interested in all the progressive theories or positions they promoted in their time. In this way, they are very much a herald of the future. Because of this, they may experience loneliness, but they would never give up their gift of originality for the company of other people. They know that, above all, their Soul must be free. Anything that obstructs this freedom, they will sweep out of their path.

For those who are able to understand them, they are a most fascinating conversationalist, because they are literally filled with all the ideas humanity needs for the future of the human race.

Retrograde Uranus - Karma

On a personal level, retrograde Uranus creates disorder in human relationships. The native experiences an inner changeability that often makes them hypocritical toward themselves. Their mental and emotional levels often struggle with each other, so they may know certain things that should lead them in the direction indicated by their knowledge, while at the same time feeling other things that may lead them in an entirely different direction.

They are living through the karma of learning how to express the inner freedom they bring into this life. And they must not be bound by attempts to explain the meaning of everything all the time, either to others or even to themselves. A free spirit does not always appear to make sense. The fact is that the logical extension of common sense in a person is more of a Saturnian trait, connected with the rigidity of order, discipline, and directing oneself toward specific goals. But the native with retrograde Uranus is not living through that kind of karma.

In order to explore their inner existence, as well as many other realms of understanding that humanity as a whole has not yet reached, they follow a long and winding path in search of the formulas that make the world work. Nevertheless, they know that their search is an endless process, because every new discovery leads to yet another question. They can be extremely happy as long as others do not try to force them into patterns of thought and behavior whose limits they have already crossed, because of the meaninglessness of the roles those patterns play in their perception of the greater design.

They learned how to be independent in previous incarnations, and now they must use that independence to rediscover and understand the reason they originally wanted it.

Retrograde Uranus in Gemini

Here the native experiences a very active mental life. They continue to shift from one retrograde phase to another as they try to find the identity that will make them most satisfied. Being unusually nervous and unstable, they are strongly influenced by the external thinking of the world. Because of this, it is difficult for them to stay with any one topic or project for a long time. They are so interested in exploring all the mental possibilities that occur to them that their life literally becomes a kaleidoscope of scattered ideas and positions. Lacking sufficient confidence in the uniqueness of their own thoughts, they tend to identify with the originality of other people.

With this placement of retrograde Uranus, there is great instability. At times, the native may actually harm themselves by trying to understand much of what lies beyond the boundaries of expected normality, so that they may in fact lose any real perspective. This happens because they absorb belief systems that not only distract them from the progress they would like to make, but also carry them far away from any realistic, goal-oriented approach to life. The essence of the problem is that, subconsciously, they are very gullible.

Realizing this, they must be careful in the areas of hypnosis or other techniques that deeply affect the mind, which would bring them too quickly to those levels of their Being that they are not yet ready to control. They are so mentally active that even their interest in sexuality takes on more of the coloring of intellectual exploration than of physical or emotional satisfaction.

As one of the most curious people in the Zodiac, they are living through the karma of an explorer who, over many lifetimes, could not make a decision in favor of any chosen path. Now they continue to change their direction, momentum, and speed, trying many different things but never truly settling on any one of them. They get to know people from various walks of life, each of whom represents something they would like to try. If they work on developing their consciousness, then one day they will clearly understand the mental gymnastics they have used for many lifetimes, which kept them from knowing themselves.

Retrograde Uranus in the Tenth House

Here the person seeks an inner sense of identity that will give them uniqueness of character within the society in which they live. They experience a conflict in yielding their individuality in order to remain in a position where they can ultimately express it more fully. They may change direction many times until they find a special niche where they can truly express themselves. This is an especially good placement for a career in advertising or the mass media, where the person can be versatile and have the security they need.

They must have enough space to follow their creative instincts without being forced into a framework of responsibility. However, they handle responsibility very well when they are not aware that they are doing so! When they are allowed to live and work on a day-to-day basis, they do much better than when they are faced with a project that involves extensive long-term planning. Still, they show great ability in developing long-range plans as long as they do not see them as a “case” enclosing their future.

Usually, they spend a great deal of time in Phase Three of the retrograde process, absorbing the needs of their immediate environment, and from this they can understand how to deal with everything around them. Still, there is a tendency to be slightly out of sync with time, especially because Uranus rules the future, while the Saturnian tendencies of the Tenth House relate more to the qualities of the past. When these two tendencies are blended, the native must do a great deal of work to gain a balanced perspective in time. They are very inventive and may show a rare gift for understanding how to do something that no one around them can understand. Karmically, they are studying the lessons of self-discipline so that all the inner inventiveness they feel can be used in the present-day world in which they live. They must learn how to be unusual without disrupting the structures they ultimately want to improve.

Retrograde Neptune - Individuality

The individuality of a person with retrograde Neptune is not easy for others to understand. Their motives do not contain the common sense that anyone might expect to find at the root of all motivations. Instead, they are attuned to a higher music that only they can hear. Their perceptions do not come from the material plane; they are a direct connection with their Soul. Thus, they may be very spiritual, but they care little for the formal side of orthodox religion. They may have a great love of music, but cannot be assigned to any particular artificial structure within it. They feel almost everything, but they connect their feelings with physical reality far less than with the perception of the cosmic universe. They know far more than they can even express in words, and here again they recognize the limiting qualities of language, which is merely another formed boundary that can enclose their boundless understanding. They are able to understand the appearances and illusions in which others live, and therefore must try to strike the best possible bargain: not to knock down other people’s sand castles, while still preserving all the inner truths they know.

Retrograde Neptune - Karma

The native with retrograde Neptune is living through the karma of learning how to sort out what is real from the standpoint of their ideals and what only appears to fulfill their dreams. They know what they need, but it is difficult for them to find it in the outer world. Constantly living through dreams, they often get carried away, running from imaginary shadows while chasing unrealistic fantasies. Nevertheless, they must find their ideals in the “formless” world that strongly influences them. They sometimes make the mistake of projecting past dreams into present situations. This prevents them from clearly seeing the reality of the present. They are highly intuitive and, through the various retrograde phases, are often able to know the outcome of situations long before they enter them. But until they learn how to handle the subtle flow of Neptunian energy they feel within themselves, they will not easily trust their intuition.

The native must learn how to blend their feelings with the ideals and dreams they bring into this life. Instead of trying to distort perception in order to make the present conform to the past, the person must realize which parts of the present truly symbolize the karmically unfinished parts of the past.

Retrograde Neptune in Libra

Here the native experiences Phase Three of the retrograde process, when they impartially absorb impressions from their surroundings. They usually think that all the feelings they experience are their own, and that they ultimately require some action or decision on their part. The fact is, however, that this placement gives the native the opportunity to experience much within the universe. At the same time, they are not required to take it personally.

They are very sensitive, especially to music and art, and they find it difficult to deal with the harshness of life, to which they are excessively open. They make the mistake of believing that they must balance everything around them in order to balance themselves. This apparently causes them to become involved in other people’s affairs more than is actually useful. They must understand that every new grain of sand they add to the scales of Libra as a balanced solution to what already exists creates the next imbalance, which then requires a new solution. Many people with this placement become so disappointed in trying to center the world around themselves that they eventually turn to drugs or other forms of escapism in order to avoid realizing that their personal difficulties come from problems that do not require solutions.

When this configuration is used properly, it gives the native tremendous understanding of their mirror reflection, or of that part of their individuality that they see through the eyes of others. Karmically, they can learn to integrate better into society through this type of vision. At the same time, they will move farther away from their essential self, as they strive to know themselves through others. They can achieve happiness when they realize that a person does not receive happiness, but discovers it in a more or less constant state of satisfaction with life experience and with the tiny role a person plays within the totality of the cosmic plan.

Retrograde Neptune in the Second House

Here the formless nature of Neptune presents a natural conflict with the structure of form belonging to the Second House. It is difficult for the native to crystallize their value system, and they may appear indecisive. They may be overly generous during Phase One, while feeling that they must guard against losing things during Phase Three.

From past incarnations, they have learned to value art and usually have a good understanding of music, but the retrograde nature of Neptune does not allow them to pursue this as much as they would like. If this became an influential factor in their life, they would be very happy, but the impulse to achieve this must come from something else in the horoscope.

Neptune is in a very difficult position in the Second House, because it continues to dissolve everything the native tries to acquire. Their financial security is vague. The same can be said of the values they support. Each time they try to be firm, they become more yielding. In youth, they may be especially sensitive and sometimes even gullible.

But as they grow older, much of this turns into their sincerely compassionate and gentle nature. Although they will experience many difficulties in standing up for what they believe is right, this is only part of their karma. They are living this incarnation in order to eliminate any false values within themselves that they brought from a past life.

Retrograde Pluto - Individuality

The native with retrograde Pluto perceives the troubles of society as a personal reason to transform themselves. They know they cannot change the world, although they would like to do so if it were possible. But they can change the world within themselves by severing ties with everything that has bound them to their unpurified existence. This process takes many years, and sometimes many lifetimes are required to achieve it. In its highest manifestation, it represents true Christ consciousness, bringing the purest form of love to earth.

On a smaller scale and at a more ordinary level, they constantly remove from their life all those factors that hinder the progress of their Soul and the expression of their Spirit.

The native with retrograde Pluto experiences humanity’s struggle as a very personal struggle within themselves. They personally feel the need to overcome within themselves everything that lowers the consciousness of the society in which they live. Therefore, they perceive other people’s dishonesty toward themselves as a personal insult and a challenge to the forward movement they feel they must make for the ultimate good of the civilization of which they are an important part. They must learn to become a little more detached from the habitual patterns and behavioral characteristics of people whose lives have so little in common with their own true inner reality.

Retrograde Pluto - Karma

The native with retrograde Pluto is living through the karma of coming to know mass consciousness within themselves. They feel the impact of world thought and are aware of how it is connected with world thought throughout the centuries. Not always expressing outwardly what they know, they tend to view other people more as part of a greater whole than by relating to them one-on-one. In personal life, what they do is far less important than what they think about what they do. They live much of the time in their consciousness, sifting through a vast multitude of feelings.

The spiritual growth possible with retrograde Pluto is limited only by the native’s conscious mind. They can rise above a significant part of the karma of the entire human race if they choose to. Interestingly enough, if they try to avoid elevating their karma, they will in one way or another feel the lower karmas of the people around them. Thus, if they decide to rise above it, they can truly begin to live the teaching of Jesus: “to be in this world, but not of this world.” In order to ultimately achieve this, they temporarily withdraw from society during the first half of life until they learn to relate impartially to the energy of the world that they feel outside themselves. In the end, they reach a point where they no longer feel the action of this energy within themselves.

Retrograde Pluto in Leo

This configuration speaks of the overthrow of authority for the purpose of transformation. On a global scale, the generation with Pluto in Leo entered a world weakened by emotional dependence, deceived by substitute materialism, and clinging to past values that no longer served a useful purpose. In this light, the new generation was not scattered by a war-torn world, but was raised in the consciousness of a period of rebuilding. The emphasis then fell on the individual’s ability to develop strength within themselves, so that the person, as part of the generation, could overcome oppression. Thus, the native with Pluto in Leo questions the validity of the “establishment.” They realize that some idea or organization that appears to give strength to a mass of weak people may be an illusion, and that the entire structure created around it may well be based on false values.

Because of Leo’s desire to live in a world they can be proud of, they are quite ready to tear apart everything built before them on foundations they consider meaningless. The retrograde nature of the planet causes the native to view this worldwide shift in values as a personal crusade in which they must play some significant role. On a personal level, they explore their identity by analyzing what they themselves are doing to make their world more meaningful. Thus, they spend a great deal of time in Phase One of the retrograde process, trying to project a sense of confident strength, built on honest foundations, onto a world that so deeply needs it.

On the karmic level, the native feels obligated to overcome everything that has always made humanity weak. Thus, the purpose of their entire life is first to develop power over themselves, and then over the false structures in society that deserve a more creative and honorable foundation.

Retrograde Pluto in the Twelfth House

With this placement, the native almost always experiences Phase Three of the retrograde process. They are very introspective and unusually deep in their awareness of life as it is. They feel the chains of society with their inner mind, but have the strength to free themselves from them if they choose.

They are often very secretive, because they themselves are not in full contact with the depth of their motives. Nevertheless, they see enough to understand that much of their outer life is imposed by society and makes them a hypocrite before their inner essence. They experience long periods of loneliness and discouragement. The native feels misunderstood. They often wish to see tiresome situations come to an end, and as a result, they may consciously stimulate destructive forces in the people around them. Of all the placements in the Zodiac, this native may be the most negative toward the positive efforts of others who try to help draw them out of their shell. Drug use is dangerous for this person, because it only tends to move them farther and farther away from the state of being present in the reality of the “here and now.” Karmically, they are trying to find meaning in their Soul, and through a very restless process of elimination, they will eventually discard everything that has no meaning for them, so that they can ultimately identify with their essence. Their journey leads into the unknown realms of Humanity and the Universe, and although they may experience the greatest difficulties along the way, their reward will be the discovery of their Soul.

LUNAR NODES

LUNAR NODES Lunar Nodes symbolize the axis of development. The South Node indicates the experience a person has accumulated in past lives, while the North Node shows the experience the person needs to acquire in the current life.

North Node in Gemini, South Node in Sagittarius

The mission of a person with the North Node in Gemini lies in any kind of intellectual activity. This may be the work of a writer, scholar, translator, journalist, and so on. A person with this Node should also develop communication, mediation, and commercial skills, even if this is difficult for them.

Activities connected with teaching, philosophy, religion, and travel are undesirable for people with the South Node in Sagittarius. In this life, it is important for them to learn themselves rather than lecture others and hand out advice. It may become clear that the native’s knowledge is too abstract and cannot be applied to solving specific tasks. In this situation, they need to communicate as much as possible, look for new sources of information, respond quickly to changes in the surrounding world, and apply recently acquired skills.

North Node in the Tenth House - South Node in the Fourth House. Karma of Recognition

People with the Node in the Tenth House need to find their true calling and realize themselves in their profession. In this case, they will be able to gain the desired stability, prosperity, and joy in life. They should not hide their ambitious aspirations from others. The Node in the Tenth House will reward those who know how to set goals, work hard, and strive to reach the highest peaks in life.

It often happens that the native is occupied only with solving problems connected with home, family, and real estate. Despite the efforts made, the number of issues related to these topics only increases. In this situation, they need to approach their tasks from another angle. Finding a high goal and working persistently in the name of an important mission will help them find people who are ready to help and support them in a difficult moment.

SELENA

Selena In addition to the North Node, the path of karmic advancement and the application of innate talents is shown by the White Moon, also called Selena or Lulu. This is a fictitious point that reflects the light karma accumulated by the native in a past life, or by their ancestors over several generations. The place where the guardian angel’s sign is located shows the area in which the native has accumulated the greatest number of good deeds. This is where the starry road to success and prosperity now shines, provided the higher qualities of the sign where the White Moon is located are developed and expressed.

Selena (White Moon) in Pisces

Selena in Pisces indicates a mature soul completing the cycle of reincarnations, but the pull of criminal temptations, through which it is easy to fall downward, will also be strong. Crystal purity of thoughts, faith, and willpower will be required in order to resist the dark forces.

For this reason, from childhood the guardian angel awakens compassion and mercy in the soul of the person with the White Moon in Pisces, sometimes deliberately attracting painful situations and difficult circumstances. In this incarnation, the Higher Powers will keep evil people, alcohol and drugs, and fanatics away from them, but there is a danger of misinterpreting good intentions, which may lead into the underworld. It is necessary to constantly listen to the inner voice so as not to mistake evil in white robes for the light of truth.

Selena in the 7th House

The White Moon in the Seventh House symbolizes the light of love that attracts partners for a karmic marriage. As a rule, these are beautiful relationships filled with mutual understanding, trust, and emotional closeness, but another scenario is also possible: if the women of the family line did not value themselves, remained victims of a cruel spouse, and endured restrictions, then as a test, a tyrant and despot may once again be given, so that the person can manifest the power of self-love, which will also require working through the First House.

Future partners perceive the person through the First-Seventh House axis. The White Moon in the Seventh House magnetically attracts kind, spiritually developed, intellectual friends and loved ones, while the native themselves is perceived by others as an otherworldly being, beautiful and bright, which does not make the task of uniting with a suitable life partner any easier.

LILITH

Lilith Lilith is considered a demon-temptress, but it is often not understood that at the highest level of consciousness development, she ceases to be a source of danger and, on the contrary, strengthens a person’s talents according to the sign and house in which she is placed.

For this reason, it is very important to bring one’s Lilith out of darkness and into the light. Then the courage for new exploration can manifest on a positive, creative level. This is a fictitious point in the horoscope, not a planet, but its power is often underestimated, while working through it is often considered impossible. However, the right actions and symbolism can work wonders.

Lilith shows the bottom, the darkest side of the person: the dark pit into which the native may fall if they give in to the temptation of lower vibrations and follow the path marked by Lilith. This should be kept in mind when reading a horoscope.

Lilith (Black Moon) in Scorpio

Here animal instincts, passions, gluttony, masturbation, hedonism, sybaritism, and prostitution are strongly expressed. Here sensuality may be sublimated both into spiritual strength and into creative energy, depending on the person’s spiritual level. With this position of Lilith, the person should give up sexual excesses, sexual perversions, unnatural attractions, manifestations of sadism, witchcraft, and black magic. It is considered together with the positions of Pluto, Uranus, the Moon, Chiron, Mars, Saturn, Venus, and the Eighth House of the horoscope.

Lilith in the 3rd House

Lilith in the Third House confirms the truth of the saying “your tongue is your enemy.” In a past life, the person was so lustful that they did not miss a single chance to taste the forbidden fruit, even from a neighbor’s garden. They involved their brothers and sisters in their romantic adventures. They acted as intermediaries in the person’s love affairs, in which correspondence also played a part. The person showered their chosen ones with love notes of a very frivolous nature, decorating them with equally frivolous drawings. Now they will have to give up their former habits and express their thoughts in a more elevated style. Old problems will continue to trouble the person for a long time, but they must face and live through them with dignity.

VERTEX

VertexIn the western hemisphere of every natal chart, a very important point can be found: the Vertex. It is compared to a handle on the gates of fate, which must be turned so that the doors open and allow the native into a new dimension. This is not just a point, but the peak of a sensitive axis in the horoscope, along which the electric current of karma flows. The Vertex is also called the electric Ascendant. It is activated unexpectedly during truly emotional periods of life.

The sign where this turning point of fate is located is at once an arena of passions, the scenery of the circumstances offered by life, and a clue to what exactly the native should develop within themselves. The aspects of the Vertex show talents and skills that are already present from the beginning, helping the native correspond to the scenario proposed by fate. These are magical tools that help the person pass through trials with honor and gain positive new experience in the houses where the Vertex is placed. More...
