Vincent Cassel - Natal Chart Interpretation
Horoscope interpretation comes down to combining the meanings of the four basic elements of astrology — Planets, Signs, Aspects, and Houses — into a single whole, which is what makes each interpretation individual. More...
SUN
Strength: 59.69
Harmony: 24.66
The SUN is the most important luminary, the center of life force. It can be compared to the king on a chessboard. It determines the health and well-being of the person born. It gives a creative impulse and ideals, including the desire for power, influence, and strength.
The position of the main luminary in the natal chart has fateful significance. For example, the happiest people on Earth are those who do not have pronounced tense aspects to the Sun. At the same time, one might think that their character traits may be somewhat “soft,” because through the Sun a person develops the ego and strengthens the inner backbone of life. It is important to remember that the Sun represents the inner mind, not instinct. More...
Q Sun in Sagittarius l 01°
Sagittarius is a full-fledged representative of the Fire element, and their explosive temperament confirms this. This sign is an example of a harmonious combination of inner and outer energy. The description of a Sagittarius Sun shows that they are open to communication and friendly with others, which deservedly gives them the title of a public favorite. At the same time, this is a very freedom-loving type, one who reacts painfully to any attempt to encroach on their personal freedom.

Q Sun in the 4th House
FOURTH HOUSE (House of home, as well as the beginning and end of life). SUN (planet of vital energy and individuality) in the Fourth House: the native is proud of their home and family; from youth, they felt a need to put down roots. One of their parents, or both, had a decisive influence on their life. Sometimes they had to fight for independence. The final stage of their life promises to be prosperous. Strengths: they may become wealthy through inheritance. Weaknesses: they are inclined to experience a sense of insecurity.

Sun Aspects
Just as all the planets in the solar system revolve around the Sun, a person receives their life purpose from the Sun in the natal chart. The Sun is the ego, the “inner child” that makes the final decisions. It guides the person and can be considered the “boss” of the natal chart, especially in the charts of men. Read more
ASCENDANT
Strength: 49.12
Harmony: -0.86
In the birth chart, the Ascendant is the cusp of the First House. It is the second most important factor after the position of the Sun. The position of the Ascendant in the signs of the Zodiac determines how a person manifests outwardly. The position of a planet on the Ascendant significantly strengthens the expression of that planet’s qualities in the person. In general, the position of planets on or near the Ascendant is the third most important factor. The symbol used in the table is (ASC).
The Ascendant speaks of the mask a person wears in public; it is the first impression they make when meeting people. Often, when the person is puzzled by how others describe them, it is because others are describing this aspect of their personality. The Ascendant is present in the person’s appearance and individuality, sometimes extending as far as influencing physical characteristics. The sign becomes noticeably expressed in their image, style, and manner of carrying themselves. It is also reflected in the way they act. Some astrologers believe that the sign becomes weaker after a person reaches the age of 30, as their confidence in who they are grows. The rising sign manifests in the first personal traits inherent in the person and in the way they react to their environment.
ASCENDANT in Leo g 14° - Ruler Sun
The Sun, the ruler of the sign Leo, gives typical representatives of the sign nobility, generosity, pride, a protective attitude toward others, and a desire to show themselves and shine in society. A typical Leo cannot live without attention. In negative development, people of this sign become unbearable in their need to always be at the center of things, while excessive “royalty” degenerates into permissiveness: “I am the king, so I can do anything.”
People born with Leo Rising are usually generous, proud, emotional, romantic, vain, self-loving, courageous, sentimental, self-confident, impressive, extroverted, and eager to shine and be successful in everything. They like to “rule,” which follows from their “royal” nature. They love taking risks, sometimes even recklessly, but they definitely have a taste for life. The worst thing anyone can do to them is wound their pride or treat them disrespectfully. They are restrained in matters of love and need a partner they can be proud of, while also wanting to be admired in return. They are a loyal defender of those they love. They can be hot-tempered, but they do not tend to stay angry for long. They like playing the role of king and constantly feeling heightened energy around them.
They enjoy being at the center of attention and will seek it in every possible way. They can be stubborn in their own way, although not as frightening as people sometimes claim. If their pride or dignity is wounded, then beware: they may forgive, but they will never forget. They love sports and outdoor activity, and their vitality and spirit are strong enough. Since their need for love and affection is very great, they need to feel needed. If they become disappointed, they lose interest and the desire to live.
The main lesson to learn: learn humility.
The Sun rules Leo, so when interpreting the natal chart, special attention should be given to the Sun. Read more...
Ascendant Aspects:
MIDHEAVEN (MC)
Strength: 21.99
Harmony: -2.42

The Midheaven (Meridian, MC) is the culminating point of the natal chart. It symbolizes the noon of life and coincides with the cusp of the Tenth House of the horoscope. The Meridian line, MC - IC, is the vertical axis of the horoscope, while the Ascendant - Descendant line (AC - DC) is the horizontal axis. Together, they form the so-called “axial cross,” or “cross of fate.” In terms of importance, the Midheaven ranks third in the horoscope after the Ascendant and the position of the Sun. The Midheaven, like the Tenth House of the horoscope as a whole, symbolizes everything connected with the person’s profession and social standing: success or lack of success in society, career, popularity, fame, titles, awards, or the absence of these. It shows the person as an individual within society, points to their professional skills, and indicates the possibility of rising up the social ladder.
Midheaven in Aries a 29° - Ruler Mars and Pluto
Rulers: Mars and Pluto. The main task of a person with the MC in Aries is to gain power and a position of leadership. What matters most to them is bringing their own ideas and plans to life. Their way of moving toward a goal often has an aggressive edge. They are guided mainly by their own desires and judgments and may build a career without being especially considerate of others. If they deem it necessary, they may seize power by force. Of course, this is not always the case, because in the end everything depends on the cosmic status of the ruler, its placement, and its configurations with the other planets and elements of the horoscope.
Nothing comes to this person without a struggle. Fame, honors, respect, social weight, promotion, and the achievement of their goals are all gained through their own efforts, and they have to rely only on themselves. Still, one can safely say that success is possible, although it may be unstable and short-lived.
If the negative influences of the rulers, Mars and Pluto, predominate, the main obstacles to achieving the goal are negative character traits: heightened impulsiveness, haste, recklessness, irritability, excitability, touchiness, aggression, abuse of power, and other negative qualities associated with the sign of Aries. MOON
Strength: 28.57
Harmony: 7.42
The Moon is a transmitter of sensations, emotions, and moods. It rules the spheres of the soul and subconscious, innate reflexes, and habits that come from childhood. The Moon is the ruler of Cancer. Taurus is considered the sign of its exaltation. Capricorn is considered the sign of its fall, and Scorpio the sign of its detriment, or exile. If the Moon has strong essential dignity in the horoscope and forms harmonious interactions with other planets in the natal chart, the native feels inner harmony; even when difficulties arise in life, they overcome periods of trouble with ease.

The Moon: the second most important luminary, and often the first in a woman’s chart. The Moon gathers and transforms the energy of the other planets, especially the Sun. It rules instincts and emotions. It is the planet of moods. It symbolizes the feminine principle, conception, and motherhood, unlike Venus, which symbolizes sensual love.
The native is characterized by adaptability and inconsistency in their efforts. Frequent emotional upheavals are possible because of their hot-tempered nature, since calm is not their strong suit. If things do not go the way they want, they may simply burn out like a light bulb.
People born with the Moon in Aries are also spontaneous, temperamental, impulsive, and stubborn, and they strongly dislike restrictions.

Its close proximity to the Sun defines the nature of this small yet charismatic planet. Its main functions are intellect, logical thinking, cognition, communication, and the individual’s connection with society.
The ability to establish connections is traditionally considered Mercury’s most specific “character” trait. MARS
Strength: 43.00

Mars is strength, assertiveness, aggressive sexuality, struggle, and rivalry. The planet’s most important functions are protection, the instinct of self-preservation, and self-expression. In the modern world, people rarely have to protect their lives or homes from mortal danger. What comes to the forefront instead is defending one’s own opinion, protecting personal interests in professional and social spheres, competing, and striving to win.

JUPITER
Strength: 39.16

In the astrological theater, Jupiter plays the role of the “Great Benefic.” Since antiquity, it has been associated with luck and material blessings. Yet the largest planet in the solar system has other purposes as well. It is responsible for spiritual and intellectual development and encourages a person to search for the meaning of life. From a psychological point of view, Jupiter embodies the generous, fair father. Its main enemies are stagnation and boredom. The giant rules the Ninth and Twelfth Houses.

URANUS
Strength: 50.41
Harmony: -8.75
Uranus is a symbol of suddenness and surprise, originality and eccentricity, unforeseen actions and behavior, various shifts and changes, turning points and rearrangements of both a positive and negative nature. Under its influence, past and present values are reassessed, and the future is anticipated.
Uranus is the sign of higher reason and almost supernatural intuition. It gives rise to true geniuses, people who are ahead of their time and remain misunderstood by their own generation. Uranus represents a projected point of the unconscious, yet it brings highly symbolic images and impulses into a person’s consciousness, arising both while awake and in dreams. This distinctive power to form images gives birth to intuition and inspiration, a flash of creative force, as well as scientists and inventors, poets and performers, musicians and artists, statesmen and political figures, religious reformers and revolutionaries.
Driven by the desire to play by its own rules, Uranus embodies change, reform, evolution, and revolution. More...

PLUTO is the main ruler of all collective mysteries, gatherings, rallies, demonstrations, and similar mass events. Together with Uranus, it destroys old, rotten, outdated political world systems, creating new ones separately for each nation and state.
On the one hand, Pluto shows a person as an integral being; on the other, as a particle of the cosmos and of a given society. Pluto symbolizes the final stage of the individuation process, a second birth or rebirth, after which the person becomes more complete. In one case, it may bring the person under its influence brilliant success and career advancement, unexpected wealth or worldwide fame, influence over the masses, the crowd, the public, or an audience, and a social rise as rapid and dazzling as a meteor. M Chiron in the 8th House
Above all, Chiron’s gifts are duality and adaptability in the areas of life indicated by the main principles of that House of the horoscope. This person can skillfully, artfully, and deftly combine opposites. Their cunning, craftiness, and ability to find a way out of any situation are boundless.
Here, Chiron can show itself from a rather unflattering side. It increases the native’s attraction to the opposite sex and to sexual experimentation, producing Don Juans and courtesans with a ruthless and unforgiving streak, people who seek only pleasure and gratification, care only about themselves, and try to satisfy only their own desires. However, there is another side to the coin. This position of Chiron may also give the native an interest in science, military service, criminology, and risky or even life-threatening ventures. With a strong psyche and certain unusual abilities, such as hypnosis or the gift of suggestion, these people often have power over others, including animals. For this reason, among them one may find not only surgeons, hypnologists, psychotherapists, and psychiatrists, but also trainers, animal tamers, fakirs, and illusionists. Many representatives of the arts are also found among them, especially musicians, vocalists, actors, and people interested in the occult sciences.

Chiron Aspects:

The Houses provide information about how, where, and to what extent a person's characteristic traits will manifest, how their potential will be revealed, and how all of this will be realized in everyday life. Each House represents a specific sphere of human life. The Houses reflect a person's life in society, the kind of person life compels them to become, and show acquired skills, habits, methods, and goals that life sets before the person, as well as the ways through which they will move toward their goal.
1st HOUSE - g 14°
Strength: 78.97

1st House in Leo - Ruler of Sun
The First House is angular, which means it possesses qualities such as activity, initiative, and dynamism. It is the first of the Houses of life, and in this capacity, it represents the physical aspect of the personality — the body.
The First House in Leo requires the native to balance the contradiction between the desire to lead by demonstrating the strength of their personality and a tendency toward idle, lazy pastimes. It is impossible not to notice a person with the Ascendant in Leo. Generously endowed with charisma and fiery energy, they attract attention with a regal appearance and manner, presenting themselves as someone truly special so skillfully that those around them immediately believe it.
The Sun rules Leo, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the First House (Ascendant).

2nd House in Virgo - Ruler of Mercury
The Second House is the place of a person’s financial power. It shows the source of stable income from which the native can move toward the wealth of the Eighth sector, as well as find connections with their life purpose through the Tenth House, creating prosperity, well-being, and the happiness of public recognition. It is important to understand the ways of interacting with money, the nature of spending, and one’s own behavior in financial matters.
Prudent Virgo on the cusp of the Second House rarely leaves the native without a penny to their name, but they are not especially eager to chase mountains of gold either. The exception is a strongly emphasized Leo or Capricorn in the natal chart, especially if connected by aspects to the Second sector.
Mercury rules Virgo, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Second House.

3rd HOUSE - h 27°
Strength: 25.00

3rd House in Virgo - Ruler of Mercury
The Third House is defined as the House of communication, the sphere in which a person feels the need to express their ideas, whether orally or in writing. As the House that signifies family ties, it primarily includes a person’s brothers and sisters, if they have any, and describes the nature of their relationship with them. In addition, it also points to relationships with other people in the immediate environment, such as neighbors, for example. But this is not all — it also indicates nearby, short-distance travel in the local area: by car, bus, train, or bicycle. The Third House belongs to the cadent Houses and indicates the ability of the native’s mind (Mercury) to learn, perceive different ideas, and adapt to various teachings; in practical terms, this means schooling and primary education.
If the Virgo sector and Mercury as its ruler are harmonious, the person will not miss a single small point or detail, making them a careful driver and a meticulous student, capable of analyzing a flow of information in seconds and producing a result.
Mercury rules Virgo, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Third House.

4th HOUSE - j 29°
Strength: 255.27
Harmony: 90.00
4th House in Libra - Ruler of Venus
The Fourth House is connected with a person’s private life and the way they would like to arrange their home. This is also where the roots of their origin should be sought. It is the House of motherhood and childcare. It also describes property, housing, real estate, and similar matters. The Fourth House also points to the final years of life and the end of a person’s physical existence. From this perspective, the Eighth House is considered the House of spiritual transformation and liberation, while the Twelfth House is the House in which a person’s restless thoughts and agitated rational mind must be calmed.
Libra encourages the native to strive for nobility and justice, and most importantly, for beauty within their own space. Libra lacks confidence. Sometimes the mother becomes a source of support and protection, but if the relationship with her is far from ideal, especially if the Moon is in Virgo or Capricorn, socially accepted stereotypes of success become the guiding reference point.
Venus rules Libra, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Fourth House.

5th House in Sagittarius - Ruler of Jupiter and Neptune
The Fifth House is a House of life that carries the fiery energy of inspiration and the power of motivation. The warmth of this fire extends to others as well. For this reason, this House is considered the House of love that a person gives to others. The love given in connection with this House is not the affection associated with Venus in astrology, nor the sexual instincts related to Mars, but love that comes from the heart — the very quality that is the main characteristic of Leo.
Sagittarius in the Fifth House, as the most balanced representative of the Fire element, fills the native with optimism, a cheerful nature, and ease in communication with children and the opposite sex.
The senior ruler Jupiter and the junior ruler Neptune rule Sagittarius, so their influence should be taken into account when analyzing the Fifth House.

6th House in Capricorn - Ruler of Saturn and Uranus
The Sixth House is traditionally associated with work, health, and service. This House is still focused on the individual, on the “me.” It expresses a person’s attitude toward employment: whether they will do the work voluntarily or whether it will feel like a heavy burden. The Sixth House also indicates a person’s habits, established routine, occupation, general nutrition and, in particular, diet, as well as pets.
The Sixth House in Capricorn gives a serious and practical attitude toward work, the physical body, obligations to other people, and one’s own pets. An inner prohibition against using creative energy leads to stagnation in a small office and suffering caused by suppressed ambitious plans.
The senior ruler Saturn and the junior ruler Uranus rule Capricorn, so their influence should be taken into account when analyzing the Sixth House.

7th House in Aquarius - Ruler of Uranus and Saturn
When describing the properties of the Seventh House as an angular House, it is customary to say that it manifests openly and through the public sphere. Traditionally, it is considered the House of relationships in all areas of life: love, friendship, cooperation, and even enmity. It shows what a person expects from contact with other people and how they express themselves in any union. The Seventh House teaches development through the close social circle, the ability to accept the successes of others, and the ability to learn missing qualities from enemies. The likelihood of marriage and divorce, as well as the personality of the spouse, can also be read through the planets and sign.
The Seventh House in Aquarius intensifies the need for freedom to such an extent that even after joining their loved one in marriage, the native will constantly be away from home, and without the opportunity to be alone, they will feel suffocated. The reason for this is a long-standing fear of losing independence, which needs to be worked through so they do not end up lonely closer to old age.
The senior ruler Uranus and the junior ruler Saturn rule Aquarius, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the Seventh House.

8th House in Pisces - Ruler of Neptune and Jupiter
The key words for the Eighth House are usually considered to be “sex,” “death,” “big money,” and “personal transformation.” It is clear that sex can appear in several forms: as pure passion, as a force aimed at producing offspring, or as an expression of a deep feeling of love. Death also has several meanings and is not reduced only to the death of a specific human being. It can serve as a symbol of a certain idea, thought, undertaking, or even illness that disappears as a result of transformation.
The Eighth House in Pisces is an indicator of worked-through karma, when a person has learned to respond to sudden changes, illness, and the possession of wealth from the perspective of all zodiac signs. Thanks to this, the native’s greatest treasure is deep intuition, which helps them sense danger everywhere except in matters connected with water, illusions, alcohol, and psychotropic substances. Acutely experiencing injustice and understanding how everything works through many previous lives, the native seeks to escape reality into a world of dreams, which can lead to poisoning and addictions.
The senior ruler Neptune and the junior ruler Jupiter rule Pisces, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the Eighth House.

9th House in Pisces - Ruler of Neptune and Jupiter
The Ninth House gives life higher meaning, expands the worldview, and encourages the search for keys to knowledge. This is a place of good fortune, considering that its symbolic ruler is Jupiter, the planet of great happiness, as well as connections with a new world. This manifests through higher education, travel to other countries, business contacts with foreigners, the spouse’s relatives, and esoteric knowledge. All of this expands the boundaries of consciousness and opens new paths of development.
The Ninth House in Pisces means that the Midheaven Meridian most often falls in Aries, placing the person in a difficult position. Striving to study at a creative university, they are not always ready for a decisive assault on career heights, thinking that they will be looked after or that they will devote themselves to charity. The main force that drives them is the spiritual search for God and the idea of serving Him.
The senior ruler Neptune and the junior ruler Jupiter rule Pisces, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the Ninth House.

10th House in Aries - Ruler of Mars and Pluto
The Tenth House occupies the highest position in the horoscope, emphasizing the culminating nature of the corresponding area and pointing to the highest goal the person should strive to achieve. Therefore, the Tenth House indicates a possible profession, social position and reputation, as well as, in a broader sense, the true needs of the self. The key words for the Tenth House are social realization, recognition, success, fame, and renown.
The placement of the Tenth House in the zodiac sign Aries signals that from a young age the native admires energetic, assertive people and strives to develop bravery and courage within the soul. However, at a low level of development, they may become an egoist who tramples over others on the way to their goal.
The senior ruler Mars and the junior ruler Pluto rule Aries, and therefore their influence is especially important when analyzing the Tenth House.

11th House in Gemini - Ruler of Mercury
The Eleventh House of joy and favorable opportunities, friends, and social activity shows where unexpected luck comes from and how a person can make a profit during a rapidly developing career. However, its main meaning is friendship and participation in collective projects, where the individual shows themselves either as a leader or as an obedient cog in the machine, depending on the nature of the sign on the cusp.
The Eleventh House in Gemini attracts intellectual friends and many sources of information to the gifted native; at a lower level, it attracts gossipers, whom they skillfully manipulate.
Mercury rules Gemini, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Eleventh House.

12th House in Cancer - Ruler of Moon
The Twelfth House is the last in the Zodiac. Pisces is the symbolic sign, and Neptune is the symbolic ruler of the Twelfth House. Since Neptune is the planet of delusion and enlightenment, spiritual impulse and the desire to overcome the inertia of the physical world, it can be assumed that the Twelfth House is connected with a certain mystery. Pisces is sensitive and intuitive, inclined toward compassion and self-sacrifice — all of this largely defines the nature of the Twelfth House.
In a psychological sense, this is the native’s subconscious, inner world, largely hidden even from themselves, where all the joys and sorrows experienced since birth are immersed. Whether the native wants to look into their inner self and work with it depends entirely on them and on the decision they make. Some people expect the horoscope to make life easier, while others would like to use it in order to seriously understand themselves. The choice here depends on whether the person wants to consciously explore their inner world or is content for it to remain unknown. It is the Twelfth House that gives the opportunity to find one’s true self, gain faith, and receive inspiration.
The Twelfth House in Cancer makes the native overly sensitive, sometimes so much so that they shut away their empathic gift because feeling injustice and betrayal is too painful. If the Moon, the ruler of Cancer, is afflicted, the horoscope holder may spend their entire life in emotional confinement, feeling lonely even in moments of intimate closeness.
The Moon rules Cancer, and therefore its influence is especially important when analyzing the Twelfth House.

Karmic indicators help a person become aware of deep-rooted problems that go back to past lives, and begin working on themselves in order to overcome them and improve both this life and, potentially, the next one. Karmic problems should not be understood as punishment for misdeeds and sins, as karma is usually interpreted in the everyday sense. Karma is not retribution, but rather inertia, when a person attracts similar situations from one life to another. From a karmic point of view, every element of the natal chart can be interpreted without exception. However, the most important indicators of karma in the horoscope are retrograde planets, if any, and the Lunar Nodes.
Retrograde Planets
Retrograde planets are always connected with turning back to the past. The more retrograde planets a person has in the horoscope, the stronger their connection with the past. A retrograde planet also points to an unresolved task from a past life, unfinished business, or unrealized abilities. It forces the person to take up again what could not be completed in the past. The symbol used in the table is R.
Retrograde Mercury — Individuality
When Mercury is retrograde in the horoscope, the individual’s conscious mind is able to intercept ideas from the universal consciousness of earlier times. Usually, they are not aware of this, but they are aware that they cannot easily make others understand everything they know. This is partly connected with the inversion of the Mercury symbol, in which the significance of Matter exceeds the significance of Spirit and Soul. This makes the individual concerned with the form of their ideas. And this acts as a barrier to the essence of their knowledge.
In addition, the wavelength of their mind differs slightly from what is accepted in society. Thought processes tend to repeat themselves like an endless recording, and as a result, most of the things they create are, in one form or another, copies of what they have already done. When they speak, it is difficult for them to project the exact telepathic pictures that convey the meanings of their thoughts. Thus, they often feel misunderstood and wonder why others do not always see things the same way they do.
They see themselves as more separate from society than a person with Mercury in direct motion may be. As a result, they desperately try to develop contacts with other people, overemphasizing their ideas until they begin to irritate those around them. Feeling constrained in company, they make great efforts to win the favor of others. Nevertheless, at the slightest hint of rejection, they may give up too easily. Ultimately, they learn that in order to have self-confidence, they must become more detached and impartial than people with Mercury in direct motion. This is often interpreted by others as “coldness,” but it is simply the vibration of retrograde Mercury, which is so obviously disharmonious with the vibrations of direct motion. Behind the apparent wall, this individual is far more sensitive than most people can imagine.
Once the communication barrier has been crossed, tremendous understanding and intuition emanate from retrograde Mercury. The retrograde individual does not fit into the ideas and opinions of the people around them. Instead, they can find peace in gratitude for their unique way of seeing things.
It is interesting to note that many people with musical talent have retrograde Mercury. Perhaps awareness of difficulties with spoken language led them to another form of communication, one that has much greater freedom and many levels of subtle mental and emotional expression.
Retrograde Mercury — Karma
A person with retrograde Mercury must experience unresolved relationship karma. They react to others as if those people symbolize figures from their past. Thus, it is difficult for them to keep the focus of their consciousness on the “here and now.” Usually, this manifests as difficulties with family and relatives. But the issue of relationships extends beyond communication with other people and includes the perception of the universe as a whole. There is often a problem characteristic of retrograde Mercury in terms of seeing what may be called an inverted reality. The individual has difficulty understanding the basic relationship between cause and effect. They explore the essence of life itself, yet often cannot see the simple connections between things, circumstances, and people. Lost in thoughts that lie beyond their understanding, they must learn to be content with the simple things on which life is based. They are so absorbed in uncovering what is beyond their understanding that they almost always miss the obvious.
From a karmic point of view, this individual must learn to focus attention on the reality of the present rather than lose themselves in all the apparent layers they perceive. When they are able to do this, they will be able to establish a solid point of reference in the “here and now,” through which all the discoveries they make can be expressed to the outer world.
Retrograde Mercury in Scorpio
Here, the individual experiences the greatest harmony during Phase I. At this moment, Mercury’s need for activity blends with Scorpio’s search for discovery and excites the individual, so that they strive to move forward into spheres still unknown to them. As a result, they develop an unusually sharp mind, with the ability to check and revise during Phase III in order to uncover hidden depths that other people have not noticed. They rediscover what has been consigned to oblivion. This makes them highly suited to any work of a scientific nature.
This is an unusually deep individual who is fully capable of solving their own problems. Thus, they tend to maintain a more silent position, rarely expressing what troubles them. At the same time, their conscious mind can be destructive when they observe things that do not meet their idealistic expectations. They may be sexually detached, and may lack the warmth that others expect from them on a sexual level. At the same time, they may be absorbed in sexual thoughts on the mental level.
In the past, they experienced a major upheaval in conscious experience. Now the individual must draw upon the energy of that upheaval in order to keep their present consciousness from slipping into any negative experience. Thus, they may be suspicious of others, caustic, and tactless, but they are a seeker of truth at any cost. With this position, consciousness works best when focused on the spiritual journey.
Many people with retrograde Mercury in Scorpio experienced separation from a loved one at a young age in a previous incarnation. This gives such individuals the ability to stand firm and resolute in this life, enduring a certain inner loneliness that only strengthens their individuality.
Retrograde Mercury in the Fourth House
Here, the individual feels most comfortable during Phase III of the retrograde process, where they can absorb everything that represented past memories of security. Thus, they spend most of their time in this backward, introspective, absorbing phase, where they feel safest.
Their childhood is very important, since many thoughts are now focused on the feelings they experienced in those early years. They may think that the needs of other people, especially family members, are holding them back, but in fact they need to express themselves in an environment where they feel unquestionably secure. The outer world is not such an environment. The person cannot always express the uniqueness of their individuality and purpose through the proper channels. Instead, they childishly complain that their life is not blossoming the way they would like.
They bring into this incarnation karma that delays their mental processes in the early stages of emotional development. Thus, only their birth on new and higher emotional levels will bring them the security and confidence needed to express themselves adequately on the mental plane.
They confuse influence with submission, because they feel the cardinal, outpouring quality of the Fourth House, and at the same time they are so immature in outward expression that they cannot bring the essence of the conflict outward and instead hold it inside. Self-expression in limited forms cannot make them completely happy.
This is a very difficult position for retrograde Mercury, since it colors the entire chart with past emotional thoughts, which, depending on their nature, will either allow the rest of the horoscope to express itself or prevent it from doing so.
Retrograde Jupiter - Individuality
A native with retrograde Jupiter is a living truth unto themselves. Their ideas about right and wrong, about the morality of the world through which they travel, and about the honesty of other people’s opinions have little influence on what they feel within. In an attempt to be fair, this native develops their own unique set of standards. Usually, these standards are based on personal experiences from the beginning of this life, as well as on experiences from other incarnations, and they reflect not mass consciousness, but rather the native’s personally formed concept of the universe.
The native has a keen feel for different places and for how similar they are to one another. At the same time, they are aware of the different levels at which people think. Always studying the mind, they seek to experience an inner richness that they hope will ultimately equal the opportunities available to them in the outer world. This often creates dissatisfaction, which manifests as inner restlessness. They prefer to deal with things by grasping the essence of an idea and its significance, rather than the details required to bring that idea into reality.
If Jupiter is well-aspected, the native may have strong self-motivation, but they should be careful not to try to do too many things at once.
Essentially, they are free in spirit. And although they will adapt to the ideals of society when those ideals are useful to them, they constantly struggle to preserve their sense of individuality.
A native with this placement may possess great, almost prophetic wisdom. They can summarize the essence of long, complex, detailed projects in just a few words, while others might become lost in countless small details. The native can be conscientious. Their innate honesty with themselves is one of their most important defining traits. When retrograde Jupiter is poorly aspected, it may indicate ill will carried over from past incarnations. In such cases, a long-standing desire from the past to settle old scores is projected onto new people in the present. Fortunately, this is more the exception than the rule, since retrograde Jupiter gives the native an opportunity to see themselves through the higher mind, after which some of their personal attachments give way to a higher and more impartial understanding. The development of richness in the inner life ultimately takes precedence over the desire to acquire wealth in the outer world.
Retrograde Jupiter - Karma
The karma of retrograde Jupiter is always connected with introspection through the higher mind. The native must be able to justify themselves to themselves in order to feel truly worthy of the respect and honor that Jupiter promises.
In some past incarnation, the person placed great emphasis on the violation of a certain religious or spiritual principle. In the current life, they feel an even stronger determination to redefine the value of this principle in their own mind. They must be careful not to judge others when they see the outer world living by rules they cannot understand. They should be patient with other people if they expect others to listen to the expression of their inner truths.
On another level, the person has accumulated vast lived experience, which is characteristic of retrograde Jupiter. Times and places from the past all blend into a continuous present, so that at any given moment or in any given place, the native experiences that time or place in a generalized way, as though they were simultaneously present in all similar times and places they have ever known. Thus, their consciousness expands in both of these dimensions at once, often without limits. They do not know how to focus their mind on a clear point within themselves. Instead, they absorb the symbols of their thoughts from the surrounding environment, ultimately coming to realize that their home is everywhere, and that every time is the present!
The more these outer symbols correspond to the truth they came to know in a previous life, the more content they become.
Retrograde Jupiter in Leo
Here Phase One represents the most comfortable experience, because the native can impress their zest for life upon other people. At the same time, there is a tendency to become intoxicated with their own attempts to live a virtuous life. The person may be abrupt with others, often interrupting their thought patterns because they want to be heard. This planetary placement suggests a certain nobility, and perhaps the person truly did live a previous life in which they developed this trait by upholding some powerful idea or principle.
They like to feel that everything they do in life symbolizes progress. Essentially, they continue to scatter their energy in order to increase the amount of everything they believe has meaning. They are drawn to everything in life that appears to offer a reward. Being very independent, they do not like advice from others, but they do listen to it and, at some point in the future, realize the truths they were told.
One of their weak points is the haste with which they jump to conclusions during Phase One, even though they will have to reevaluate their judgments later. This happens because the personal nature of Leo often blocks the impartial awareness of Jupiter’s higher mind. This person may be less in touch with their true nature than they realize. Their philosophy and views on life seem to differ from those of the people around them, and it is important for them to learn that things can be different without being divided into better or worse. When the inflated ego that often accompanies this placement begins to diminish, the native can experience one of the most beautiful cosmic views of the universe.
Retrograde Jupiter in the Twelfth House
Here the native spends a great deal of time in spiritual searching in order to reach their inner essence. They often make the mistake of thinking that other people can help them know themselves better than they already do. In truth, it is easy for them to recognize their inner self, but this may often seem so easy that they try to use the other planets in the chart, thinking they must find some great mystery beyond what they believe they are capable of understanding. The richness they attain throughout life is based on inner self-confidence, which, although not always connected with the outer world, gives them an unlimited understanding of their inner existence.
This is a very karmic placement for Jupiter, since the native will eventually learn to understand the truth of their past incarnations and, in this way, the purpose of their present life. They are sometimes too hard on themselves and must learn to evaluate themselves honestly through their higher mind if they want to be in harmony with their soul.
This placement makes life highly introspective, since much time is spent in Phase Three of the retrograde process. However, inner wisdom that comes from invisible spiritual guidance permeates the entire lifestyle once the person is ready to draw upon their inner wealth. Most of the time, they cannot find the words to express what they know. But they communicate very well on a telepathic level.
Retrograde Saturn - Individuality
A native with retrograde Saturn takes very seriously the completion of everything they left unfinished in the past. They tend to go back in order to fill any gaps in what they once too hastily considered complete. Essentially, they are thoughtful and balanced. At times, they may seem overly cautious or too frugal, but any restraint on their part is entirely based on their need to preserve substance for important use. They consider excessive spending or wastefulness harmful, because they experienced this in past lives. Now they deeply value everything they learn or receive. Often, they feel an inner duty to God, which manifests as a powerful sense of gratitude for everything they see around them.
They try to teach other people who are less knowledgeable or experienced than they are. However, this is unsuccessful if those people have not experienced the native’s “fall from grace” in a past life and the great struggle that has now earned them the way back. As a result, retrograde Saturn carries an “inborn” maturity that cannot be achieved without great personal struggle and sacrifice.
Retrograde Saturn - Karma
Retrograde Saturn always indicates ongoing karma from past incarnations. Whatever the lesson may be, the native is unusually slow in bringing it to completion. Therefore, in this life, they must carry an additional burden from a past life within their soul. When the two lives finally come together, their true mission should become clear to them. Much of what they do in this life is a repetition of what their Saturn already stands for. But now they are faced with circumstances and situations that are somewhat different. The retrograde action of the planet may make them feel a restraining force, especially if they try to escape the weight of its lesson. But if they follow it, understanding that its patient guidance is slowly leading them toward identification with something higher than they could have imagined, then through this planet they can come to appreciate the workings of a beautiful divine universe.
Saturn is the person’s teacher, and when it is retrograde, it means the native experienced similar training before this life. Over the course of life, retrograde Saturn provides a tremendous amount of wisdom.
For Saturn, the retrograde position is the most natural and comfortable one, because it gives the native something like a second chance to refine the relationship formed between their soul, the circumstances they encountered in a past incarnation, and the way those circumstances were understood. Now, under Saturn’s calm guidance, the person can give form to everything they learned in the past.
Retrograde Saturn in Pisces
Here the native spends most of their time in Phase Three of the retrograde process, as they continually study the essence of their past in detail. They imagine their life burden to be heavier than that of others and tend to dwell for a long time on past sorrows. Lacking confidence, they give up on life too easily. The endurance they need in order to reveal their creative abilities always comes from the encouragement of other people. But the true approval they need comes not so much from the people around them as from their own awareness of their worth. They have never wanted to conquer the world. Usually, they are rather timid in youth; however, as they grow, inner strength begins to emerge from the very essence of their Soul.
Part of their life is based on the reality of their present existence, but much of their inner existence was already formed before this life. They have fulfilled and surpassed many trials that others still have to endure. As a result, the lack of confidence experienced in youth is replaced by powerful inner knowing as they come into closer contact with their Soul.
Karmically, they draw upon the inner strength they possess in order to communicate with the outer world. Usually, this placement indicates great spiritual resilience. With this, the person does not need to be aggressive in order to prove their worth. A significant part of the understanding inherent in this placement is nonverbal. The native does not discuss the ways in which they know they can help others. They have a gift of inner guidance, earned in a previous life, and this is the source of much of their creative potential now.
Retrograde Saturn in the Eighth House
With this placement, there are many karmic exchanges with other people. The native tends to live by other people’s values in order to transform themselves through what others have considered meaningful. As a result of past incarnations, they have not yet learned true purposefulness. Thus, they waver under the influence of their marriage partner and other people. In sexuality, restriction that may reach the point of impotence is caused by many accumulated karmic fears. The person worries deeply about this and repeatedly tests their sexuality simply to reassure themselves that it exists. Many women with this Saturn placement experienced an unpleasant sexual encounter with an adult man in early childhood. This becomes the main cause of frigidity, guilt, and shame later on. In all cases, the sexual nature has its roots in the past.
Devotion to what has mature value in other people gives the native great confidence and sound judgment in the world of business, where their Saturnian caution works to their practical advantage. For a student of the mystical realms, this placement of retrograde Saturn makes it possible to resurrect old karma in order to develop new insight into old ways of thinking. In this way, the person is able to be born again, because they can permanently discard old value systems that were never truly their own, but which they tried to live up to in the past.
Since many of the world’s values depend strongly on the sexual evolution of the human race at any given moment, this placement of retrograde Saturn in the Eighth House reflects a significant part of collective thinking through the native’s personal life. Much time is spent in Phase Three of the retrograde process, when old traditions are once again measured against the current standards of society. Karmically, the native is reviewing and transforming everything that humanity has crystallized as past traditions.
LUNAR NODES
Lunar Nodes symbolize the axis of development. The South Node indicates the experience a person has accumulated in past lives, while the North Node shows the experience the person needs to acquire in the current life.
North Node in Taurus, South Node in Scorpio
The karmic task of a person with the North Node in Taurus lies in developing and refining their talents and abilities. It will be good if the native chooses an activity connected with art. This may be painting, architecture, literature, poetry, singing, and so on. The creative nature of the work will allow the native to develop and grow. Creativity may also have an applied character. The native may be interested in gardening, animal husbandry, love the land, and build homes.
Conversely, if the person follows the path of the South Node, meaning they do what is familiar to them, life will become meaningless, and most karmic knots will remain unresolved during this lifetime. People with the South Node in Scorpio should not get carried away with intrigues, behind-the-scenes games, or seek only personal gain when interacting with partners. They are advised to develop solidity, diligence, honesty, practicality, the ability to rejoice in the beauty around them, and the ability to create harmonious forms with their own hands.

North Node in the Tenth House - South Node in the Fourth House. Karma of Recognition
People with the Node in the Tenth House need to find their true calling and realize themselves in their profession. In this case, they will be able to gain the desired stability, prosperity, and joy in life. They should not hide their ambitious aspirations from others. The Node in the Tenth House will reward those who know how to set goals, work hard, and strive to reach the highest peaks in life.
It often happens that the native is occupied only with solving problems connected with home, family, and real estate. Despite the efforts made, the number of issues related to these topics only increases. In this situation, they need to approach their tasks from another angle. Finding a high goal and working persistently in the name of an important mission will help them find people who are ready to help and support them in a difficult moment.

Lunar Node Aspects:
The Lunar Nodes Have Direct Motion
The Lunar Nodes are retrograde for most of the time, meaning they move in the direction opposite to the motion of the planets. Direct motion, however, is allotted relatively little time.
The native with direct Nodes does not have currents within them directed toward the Past; it can be assumed that they are actively oriented only toward the Future. Moreover, the absence of the natural tension created by two opposite Times allows the person to be freer in their relationship with their individual Time. This is precisely why they can allow themselves to stretch Time without becoming too actively involved in the realization of any tasks. Accordingly, this position may be considered one that frees the person from temporal dependence, and therefore from excessive dependence on rigid debt-based programs.
Accordingly, it can be assumed that direct Nodes are received by a Soul that must:
- — either fulfill an important mission, and for this purpose it is freed from everyday temporal dependence and temporal duty, so that at the necessary moment of Time it, unburdened by everyday service, will be ready to fulfill the main karmic task.
- — or simply rest a little. Accordingly, it should not be burdened with debt obligations, so that no excessive tension is created, forcing it to solve tasks unnecessary in this incarnation.
- — or form a new experience not based on past developments, which may have proved either very worthy and requiring no corrections, or completely untenable, forcing the Lords of Karma simply to abandon them so as not to become involved with excessive karmic heaviness.
- Thus, it becomes clear that direct Nodes are not a simple position, and they are given to a person for the realization of certain karmic programs.
SELENA
In addition to the North Node, the path of karmic advancement and the application of innate talents is shown by the White Moon, also called Selena or Lulu. This is a fictitious point that reflects the light karma accumulated by the native in a past life, or by their ancestors over several generations. The place where the guardian angel’s sign is located shows the area in which the native has accumulated the greatest number of good deeds. This is where the starry road to success and prosperity now shines, provided the higher qualities of the sign where the White Moon is located are developed and expressed.
Selena (White Moon) in Pisces
Selena in Pisces indicates a mature soul completing the cycle of reincarnations, but the pull of criminal temptations, through which it is easy to fall downward, will also be strong. Crystal purity of thoughts, faith, and willpower will be required in order to resist the dark forces.
For this reason, from childhood the guardian angel awakens compassion and mercy in the soul of the person with the White Moon in Pisces, sometimes deliberately attracting painful situations and difficult circumstances. In this incarnation, the Higher Powers will keep evil people, alcohol and drugs, and fanatics away from them, but there is a danger of misinterpreting good intentions, which may lead into the underworld. It is necessary to constantly listen to the inner voice so as not to mistake evil in white robes for the light of truth.

Selena in the 8th House
Now the White Moon in the Eighth House shows that angelic protection will be with the native in the most difficult and dangerous situations, allowing them to emerge safe and unharmed from the murky waters of other people’s schemes, and even from beneath the rubble after earthquakes. Challenging aspects indicate that karma has not been fully worked through: a thirst for heroic deeds draws the native toward danger, but whether they can hear the guidance from above and open their soul and mind to the wisdom of the Higher Powers depends on their understanding of Selena’s essence.
Astrologers believe that in previous incarnations, a person with Selena in the Eighth House heroically saved people during war and natural disasters, risking their own life, and therefore now, in the first half of life, no danger threatens them.

LILITH
Lilith is considered a demon-temptress, but it is often not understood that at the highest level of consciousness development, she ceases to be a source of danger and, on the contrary, strengthens a person’s talents according to the sign and house in which she is placed.
For this reason, it is very important to bring one’s Lilith out of darkness and into the light. Then the courage for new exploration can manifest on a positive, creative level. This is a fictitious point in the horoscope, not a planet, but its power is often underestimated, while working through it is often considered impossible. However, the right actions and symbolism can work wonders.
Lilith shows the bottom, the darkest side of the person: the dark pit into which the native may fall if they give in to the temptation of lower vibrations and follow the path marked by Lilith. This should be kept in mind when reading a horoscope.
Lilith (Black Moon) in Pisces
Lilith in the sign of Pisces intensifies sensuality of a secret and suffering kind, which is not always perceived at the conscious level. Here it may choose both an illegal direction and an improper pattern of behavior. With this position of Lilith, the person is categorically required to renounce the role of seducer, tempter, corrupter of minors, and distributor of alcohol or drugs for the sake of profit, self-enrichment, or the satisfaction of animal instincts. They must also give up procuring, owning brothels, pimping, as well as espionage, sheltering criminal elements, or engaging in subversive activity. It is considered together with the positions of Neptune, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Chiron, and the Twelfth House of the horoscope.

Lilith in the 8th House
Lilith in the Eighth House intensifies animal instincts — passion, sensuality, sexuality, attraction to the opposite sex, and gluttony. Sybaritism and prostitution are possible here. Lilith in this House activates issues connected with life and death, the “afterlife,” and awakens the instinct of destruction and self-destruction, or even the instinct to kill. A tendency toward suicide is also possible. The power of Lilith in this House is boundless, since she is located in her own House of the horoscope.
Against the background of heightened, often suppressed sexual potential, tyranny, despotism, sadism, and looting may flourish in full force. This position was found among the world’s greatest executioners and many murderers. Now the person will have to renounce the negative character traits that manifested through an increased need for sex, because ultimately this may lead to hospitalization, prison, premature violent death through their own fault, or suicide.

Lilith Aspects:
PART OF FORTUNE

The Part of Fortune represents the path on which a person can achieve the greatest joy and fulfillment. It then becomes obvious that the Part of Fortune has much to do with how well a person meets and overcomes their negative karma, while at the same time creating and accepting the rewards of their positive karma.
The Part of Fortune, like the planet Jupiter, promises abundance. However, it encompasses a significantly larger part of a person’s existence than any specific planet. The Part of Fortune attunes the individual to the environment in which prosperity will be most natural for them, and determines for each person what their unique and special concept of success will be. It also shows the person’s strongest need, defining the keynote to which their entire being resonates.
Part of Fortune in Aries
The Part of Fortune in Aries brings success in all matters indicated by the essential nature of the sign Aries. The stimulus for success is healthy pride, remarkable self-confidence, restlessness of spirit, a scientific way of thinking, logical reasoning, as well as decisiveness, emotional and physical vitality, spiritedness, ambition, courage, bravery, perseverance, persistence, initiative, enterprise, great drive, optimism, enthusiasm, a desire for outward activity, headlong Martian energy, nobility, generosity, goodwill, and magnanimity.
Here, the Part of Fortune brings income from service in the army, security and law enforcement agencies, and from professions connected with fire and hot shops, iron and metals, medicine, especially surgery, or animal meat. Success is also promised in public service, political or social activity, and scientific research. Administrative activity and sports disciplines are indicated. However, in all these matters, caution should be exercised during periods when the transiting Sun and Mars are in conjunction, opposition, or square with each other or with other malefic planets. If the Sun and Mars form these malefic aspects in the Radix, Martian professions should not be chosen.
If afflicted, one must take into account the negative traits of the individual, which will adversely affect their activity. Here, they will have to reckon with quick irritability, excitability, hot temper, and impulsiveness. Haste, rashness in decisions and actions, impatience, unbridled passions, anger, aggression, militancy, a tendency toward violence, and sensuality in the form of despotism and tyranny play a major negative role.
Historical figures with the Part of Fortune in Aries: George Washington, Francis Bacon, Isaac Newton, Frédéric Chopin, Louis Pasteur, Clara Barton, Albert Einstein.
Additional description.
Part of Fortune in the Ninth House
The Part of Fortune in the Ninth House supports the individual’s spiritual growth and increases their intellectual potential. Income depends on the person’s intellectual level. If it is high, the main income can be expected from scientific work, intellectual activity, publishing or teaching, philosophy, and religious fields. Long-distance trips, business travel, extended educational journeys, and scientific expeditions also play a major role in life.
Activity connected with international organizations and enterprises may be successful. If the person is endowed with phenomenal abilities, such as the gift of foresight, prediction, or prophetic dreams, then these may bring the main and considerable income. This Part of Fortune supports the achievement of a high social level and a good material position, both on the worldly plane and in the spiritual hierarchy. Success is promised in all matters connected with higher education and pedagogical activity, mass cultural events, legal and public activity, and connections with foreign countries and foreigners.

VERTEX
In the western hemisphere of every natal chart, a very important point can be found: the Vertex. It is compared to a handle on the gates of fate, which must be turned so that the doors open and allow the native into a new dimension. This is not just a point, but the peak of a sensitive axis in the horoscope, along which the electric current of karma flows. The Vertex is also called the electric Ascendant. It is activated unexpectedly during truly emotional periods of life.
The sign where this turning point of fate is located is at once an arena of passions, the scenery of the circumstances offered by life, and a clue to what exactly the native should develop within themselves. The aspects of the Vertex show talents and skills that are already present from the beginning, helping the native correspond to the scenario proposed by fate. These are magical tools that help the person pass through trials with honor and gain positive new experience in the houses where the Vertex is placed. More...
Strength Concentration (Astrodynes)
This section examines the concentration of energy in the natal chart: which signs, planets, and houses contain the main strength. Everyone knows the Sun zodiac sign, but when the signs are viewed through the prism of the natal chart, it becomes clear how energy is distributed between the two strongest signs, and the Sun sign is not always dominant.
The signs give an idea of natural, instinctive motivations, such as likes and dislikes, attitudes, and reactions, and make it possible to judge whether a calling is present. The two strongest signs are shown in the table below. For more details about the distribution of strength in the natal chart, see the “Astrodynes” section: link to the Astrodynes chart.
| Sign | Strength |
|---|---|
| h Virgo | 193 |
| k Scorpio | 133 |
| ------ | ------ |
| TOTAL (12 Signs) | 874 |
Now the planets that concentrate the main energy in the chart can be identified. The planet with the greatest number of “astrodynes” is considered the strongest planet in the chart, since it reflects the most powerful energetic potential. Why are strong planets so important? The most powerful planets in the table indicate potential that can easily be transformed into abilities. This is where the person can succeed and achieve the best results.
| Planet | Strength |
|---|---|
| O Neptune | 71 |
| Q Sun | 59 |
| ------ | ------ |
| TOTAL (all Planets) | 561 |
By the same principle, the strongest houses emphasize the environment or sphere of life where it is easier for a person to practice and develop their skills.
| House | Strength |
|---|---|
| Fourth House | 255 |
| Second House | 168 |
| ------ | ------ |
| TOTAL (all Houses) | 874 |

Congratulations, the natal chart has been calculated. This is the basis, the foundation, the person’s inner cosmos. A person will return to it many times, each time discovering something new and unexplored.
All the links below lead to charts calculated using the data from the natal chart form.
Additional understanding of the chart can be gained through:
-
Fixed Stars in the natal chart. Some planets in the natal chart may behave in very unusual ways, and the cause may be the influence of a star hidden behind the planet or house cusp.
The next step is predictive astrology:
- Transit Calculation. This method makes it possible to calculate the transits of moving planets and overlay them on the natal chart. Transiting planets interact with the planets of the natal chart. As a result, an energetic connection arises, activating and awakening various events in a person’s inner and outer life.
