Lana Del Rey

American singer, songwriter and poet. Her music has been praised by critics for its cinematic style, preoccupation with tragic relationships and melancholy, and references to American popular culture, particularly the 1950s and 1960s. At the age of 18, she signed her first recording contract with 5 Points Records in 2007, releasing her first digital album Lana Del Ray in January 2010. Already in April of the same year, Lana bought herself out of the contract. In July 2011, she signed a joint deal with Interscope, Polydor and Stranger Records.
